I like Call to Arms franchise better. You can set up an assault and then control individual units to be a part of it. It's a perfect combination of strategy game and first/third person shooting game. I just wish the soldiers can jump and the driving more realistic though. 👍
Oh you can do that too in Men of War 2, with different POVs aswell (tanker-binoculars are fascinating). Both games are based on the Men of War (CoA even advertised their games as the "true successor" to MoW) and provide first/third person. I feel like CtA is a bit slower paced, which is its own flair. If I was on a remote island - I could enjoy both games. 🙂
Ah I enjoyed MOW2 more than GoH, but I can see the appeal for GoH aswell. Might just be since I have played the MoW series since Faces of War came out - so partially its also nostalgia :)

You can control individual units in Men of War II as well. Every single one of them.
