I was such a fuckin closet weeaboo in middleschool... like, I would never ever ever dare tell anyone that I was into Japan or anime. But, back in elementary school, I used to literally walk around speaking gibberish and tell people I knew fluent Japanese. I WILL THINK ABOUT THIS ON MY DEATHBED LMAO. I remember saying some nonsense word and telling this kid that was "his name in Japanese" ... I cringe so hard thinking about it... like... your name doesn't morph into a completely different word in another language. Kill me. In some high schools you can skip a grade, and then there's the option for duel enrollment which helps in getting the required credits faster and gives you the option for early graduation, which I'm doing right now. ^^
If I didn't move to another country I would've graduated when I was 15 too xP
You can also possibly skip by passing a GED

During my weeaboo phase I was surprisingly low-key about it. I only told my close friends about that shit and had them watch it with me. I wasn't really that social on tumblr either, but I was kind of embarrassing. Even now, I don't tell like... ANYONE irl outside of my friend group about stuff I like. You're phase is nothing. I went through the worst phase in my whole school. I'd tease my very short black hair so wrong that people called me boxy. I wore the same black jacket, metal band bracelets, Naruto wristband, black nails, black room, raccoon eyes, wore the same choker, carried around a freakin Sakura Haruno bag AND carried a Sakura plushie around IN school after days ended (can you tell she was my favorite character 😒). I listened to screamo music and blood on the dance floor, brokenyde, etc. Yeah. I acted really stupid too. From junior high to sophomore year. I'm surprised people still talked to me after my phase. Girl you have no idea. I wish I could take back those years and become a cheerleader or be in swimming and volleyball. I'd be with the right kind of people. Because my friends back then were all weird nerds. There's cool nerds and then there's those weird immature weeboo nerds.. So much regret LOL

I used to detatch cuffs from the sleeves of vintage blouses then put them on my school shirts and I was super blonde but dyed my fringe dark purple all the time so it was like this big old purple block on my forehead. I wore thrifted stuff all the time too but with no regard to style haha. I had a whale of a time though, I thought i looked really dapper. I admire the confidence I had when I was 14

I had a very similar situation, used to be very tan and lived near the beach. Was usually outside for at least 2 hours a day. Then I took up swim which was always indoors and also moved to a colder environment so my skin got noticeably lighter. I honestly prefer my skin to be lighter now that it is so I exercise indoors, developed a better skin routine, and remember to protect your skin when you go out with sunscreen and try not to be in the sun so much! Not saying to avoid the sun like it's the worst thing in the world but for example; if half a sidewalk has tree shade while the other is in the sun, walk on the side with shade! Sounds like a lot now that I'm typing it out but it really isn't that difficult. ^^
Thank you all for the sweet comments and tips ;v; I have no problem with being tan or darker but I have a REALLY yellow undertone which stands out as almost ORANGE when I'm tan and less noticeable when I'm pale... it just looks really strange because the parts of my body with little to no sun exposure (chest, tummy) are quite pale and not yellow while my face and arms are tan OTL Mei's old photos resembled it so I was wondering what she did!
