Had this for a couple of months and use it at work moving cars for a rental car company. We operate at times in some sketchy areas in a big city. I use the cell phone pocket often using GPS and it works well. You can scroll over the plastic no problem but Face ID doesn’t work. Additionally, the pocket is very tight for the iPhone 13 Max housed in a minimal case but it’s loosening up with use. I carry EDC items in the front pocket. A Kahr CW9 fits perfectly in the concealed carry pocket in the supplied “holster”. I wear the pack across the chest and have the Premier Level llla body armor made specifically for this pack in the compartment designed for it. I also have the Benchmade SOCP knife and it lives in the slots cut for it, ready for quick deployment. Great pack!

Great review!! I got mine today. I replaced the BS Holster that came with it with a WTP (Opposite draw) IWB holster and replaced the clip with an alias hook and loop receiver. This way its nice and tight within that back compartment. I subscribed too!!
Thanks for the comment! I will have to check out the alias hook and loop receiver you put in yours because I put in a Tier 1 Optio holster (which I love), but I attached it using a Safariland QLS system and it is a bit bulky the way I have it currently set up. Thanks for subscribing!

Premier body armor sells a combo where it comes with a soft armor insert or you can order it separately for about 75 bucks I already pre-ordered it for myself

nice review mate, btw hope u dont mind me asking, hows the strap holding up? it seems that it might snap or tear apart from that "u-shape" attachment.
It’s holding up great! I haven’t really loaded this thing down yet but I use it with my Springfield hellcat, an extra mag, phone, charger, wallet, and few other small things and haven’t had any problems with durability. I will say that I’ve noticed after carrying over my shoulder like a sling pack for serval hours that it starts to be a little uncomfortable where the slide buckles are. Thanks for the comment!
What do you think, can I put some AR mag inserts in main compartment and use it as a rig?
Sorry for replying so late, I have been off for a while. You could fit some regular size 30 round magazines sideways in the conceal carry compartment, maybe 2 mags on one side and then 2 on the other, but I’d have to lay them out on it to know for sure. If you’re still interested let me know and I can check on my bag how some magazines would fit.
I will never use some sort of bag for my edc gun knife flashlight keys wallet. They fit perfectly fine in my pockets and that’s where they will stay. But if I’m at events long days out with the kids and wife can’t go wrong with first aid kit steam deck portable charger for everyone’s phone female products just shit i throw in this bag and toss in the car if I need it I’ll grab it. Most of everyone’s issues come about when in the car. If hiking I carry a larger bag of better shit but for a car long events etc this will do. Even so I still don’t like carrying anything other then my minimalist set up. But again in the car it goes
Thanks for the comment. I don’t blame you for not wanting to deviate from typical body carry. I don’t use off body as first choice myself either. I usually carry pistol appendix, wallet in back pocket and then I have a knife in front and phone, keys, and flashlight in front pockets. I only use off Body when on trips basically. I have noticed that most places I would usually wear a Fanny Pack (theme parks etc) I can’t carry weapons anyways. For now this Fanny Pack is my car bag as well, and if going on walks or shopping out of town I’ll take it with me.
