I’m stuck on the download part how do I put the mods in the folder ?
Just copy the zip file you downloaded then paste it in the mods folder. The mods folder should be in your game directory.
I download it if I go to the game it's not there
You have to add the download zip file to the mods folder in the game directory. (If there isn't a mod folder just make one..

yes you can use any mods in a multiplayer server. but you must install the mods into the servers' resources.
