In my opinion the best place to catch spot is in Bethany beach. All the spot I caught were huge! Great video!
I love fishing off that pier well the south end we go all the way to the end
it was awesome fishing at night but I guess that's a thing off the past
Bill Burton goose hunted at my Aunts farm in Church Hill
North end is so long idk how people walk all the way down there. South end not so bad. Too bad it's all closed now
i havei'alway fished south end good results.. i reserved my spot for live lining for rock.. clipped the tail so that the spot swims wounded...
Bill Burton definitely underrated. Fishing is all about the patience. You have shown that patience pays off. Awesome content!
I use to fish there long time ago you could stay all night till the next morning but I've always fished the short side of the pier ( Cambridge side ) I've caught croacker good size enough to take home and limit out and eat, rock keeper size, then all of a sudden things changed a couple years all you could catch is small spot, perch, rock and large cats, crabbing isn't bad, but haven't been there for years
Good times, it’s crazy I’d never thought that place would actually close
Also nighttime stripers.... I remember this bridge before the new one was so dangerous fishing here..... But always did better crabbing than fishing
Ya the striper fishing was good at the end. Crabbing I haven't tried personally before but I know it's good bc I'll catch them as a by catch sometimes while fishing
Can't wait! I was actually going to go this morning but I thought it was gonna rain. 😅 🤘🏾
Oh wow. 😂
I'll be there first thing Friday. Testing out frozen shrimp because I can't find any bloodworms.
Oh yea, lug worms are my go-to but they don't seem to do as well as blood worms for me. Especially at a pier.
@@prestontwyman6788 pair lugs up with a sabiki like I use. Exact one in description. No more than 2 hooks in MD so this one is perfect. The difference is night and day with it.
Great content. Keep the videos coming. Maybe setup some tours here in Maryland. I like to fish but don't know the beat spots.
@@ZephyrFishing 120%.... Not too many folks in MD are doing what you are doing. Our state is beautiful with many fishing spots from what I see. Thanks for sharing it and allowing guys like me to know where to go.
@@alspalavahut9072 of course, im glad it's helpful. Let me know if you need to find bait shops or any tips. I respond to all comments
This place used to be packed especially on the weekends like 20 years ago. Monster fish coming out too. I didn't know it's not 24 hrs anymore 😕
Today I’m going there and the gate closed…not sure until when and they said under construction…so sad
Yes it's closed due to structural issues but you can fish the bank and parks on the other end
Yeeaaa and i back fishing to Jonas Creek lol ^^….which area now the best for fishing in MD bro? Solomon piers nice spot? Just wondering planning fishing tomorrow
@@limsupriatna7587 solomons is good but fishing has been terrible on land and on boat over a week now. Save money stay home
Damn I remember fishing on this pier at night and somebody drove through the gate and parked on the bridge
Been trying to find a good place to catch specked trout or red drum, any suggestions?
Hey love your videos I I made a suggestion on One of your previous videos that you should try and fish Conowingo Dam hope you’re able to do that but if you ever go to The Cambridge fishing Bridge again you should try and find clams snouts You will be surprised what hit some blue channel cats love them
Bill burton is closed due to structural issues. I don't like conowingo it's far and too many snags
What size to keep for bluefish and how many/day at Point lookout,Md.?
Unfortunately both sides of this pier are still permanently closed until further notice due to structural instability. No new information.
Great video! Should try spot as bait next time thats how I catch catfish there.
What website are you using for tide info?
J yoo brotha I use tides4fishing. Type that in then the area you're fishing into google for the precise tide
Agree with what you said. MD Sucks for fishing, doomed, no luck for a decent fish yet, just plenty of catfish & small perch.
Edit: This pier is closed now due to structural issues. No updates on reopenings.
Everything I used is linked in bio. Dont forget to turn on 4k HD
