Im truck driver from Finland and my last company we had those 33m trucks and my workmate said its almost impossible to reverse 90 degree corner. They just splitted and reversed one by one to ramp. Since 21.01.2019 you can officially drive up to 34.5m but only 76tons.
I mean I didn't think it was ever intended for you to try and back them up while they were hooked together... it's not like you could load the front trailer like that anyway lol
@@brownbear992 real doubles have pass through second doors at the front instead of the wall. Such option exist for you to put on your owned one in the tuning shop
With that engine sound and screeching wheels on the slightest hint of curve, I am pretty sure you have worse issues than parking a double trailer with a dolly.
Thanks for good laugh I know your pain. Also i have kenworth mod for this trailer and i am pissed off everytime at any place at any situation. Well at least game is now more challenging.
It can be done. Just take your time. Do it very slowly. It took me an "in-game" hour to back into this spot, uncouple and get my truck fixed at the local dealer. Small movements to the steering-wheel. (Logitech G27), and get as close as you can beforehand. (The turning-circle isn't that bad). Good luck. I'm not sure it's even possible to reverse that IRL. Even if you could though there just isn't enough room to maneuver in that loading area. I think I'll just stick to my b-double.
It's possible, but one problem in-game is that the dolly doesn't have enough inertia, so it will always oversteer or understeer. And while you have the angle you can't bring it back.
It's entirely possible (I reverse it anywhere in five to ten minutes) altough your setup isn't relly optimal. Taglift is a must in my opinion, haven't even tried without. Hmu for multiplayer reversing sessions :D

Man it's not that hard (not say it is easy) u only need to watch dolly not go too far on every side and first trailer need to go where u want to go second trailer but practice is everything here. First few tries will be hard but in some time u will get it and will be easy. And ofcourse this kind of space want u to be perfect in every movement u do.
HCT's are mostly driven just forward, but sometimes drivers do back them into loading ramps in one go. (I've seen it) The tractors have a hitch to hook straight to the dolly for easy reversing.

I was about to say the same. In the real world, if you had such limited space, you''d detach both and do one by one.
it also saves time so its faster when splitted

Pulunen in reality you wouldn’t use a tag lift when pulling a hct, you’d use dual drive axles

Pulunen that’s pretty cool, I bet it costs a fortune

im not a trucking expert but i dont think that is possible irl maybe they back up each trailer alone

Well, in irl you wont back up with that, faster to disconnect each section.
Danny Strockmeijer depends on the driver
Its faster if u can reverse that without splitting

4:37 I could not agree more, most useless idea, can't they just have a normal B-Double instead of some special ed trailer
You wanna hear something funny? This isn't even the biggest one. Try doing parking with a 10 axle HCT trailer 😏.
