I want drive this truck
I love the trucks, but I just wish the category was more competitive. It seems like every year there are two groups, the Kamaz drivers, and than theres everyone else. It feels like we've gone back to the 80's, where Factory teams just dominated and the privateers didn't stand a chance. Its getting to the point that I seriously think the organization needs to take a deeper look and do something about it. The question really is, but What?
kamaz in dakar truck category is like mercedes in f1.
Yep, its cuz Kamaz invest the double than the rest. This edition they presented 4 trucks, the rest only two or one at most. Just wait for the 2022 edition, it looks like a big team is back.
Kamaz is powered by American engine Cummins 🇺🇸 and German 🇩🇪 transmission ZF, other parts are also either American 🇺🇸 or European, Kamaz is 100% non Russian made with Russian drivers 🇷🇺

@@MidwestDIY all others use the same parts to build custom vehicles. It would be top of stupidity to build, for example, your own transmission for dakar truck (which is not applicable to civil trucks), instead of to buy existing product and adapt it to your needs.
By the way, in addition to Cummins, Kamaz use one chinese and two russian engines.

They use foreign parts because when they used 100% russian parts it was to easy.

@@nikhilpunalur Уже давно рашен двигатели не используют и от с либхера перешли на Каминс! Все 4 машины на Каминсах Китайско-американских и кпп автомат Alison, тоже Американской если не ошибаюсь
