Game 1 optic vs faze, you can def tell faze are literally playing slayer and picking out optic in single battles before picking up time and it’s just *chefs kiss *
@derell6656 It's kinda hard to follow the game flow bc they switch characters so often and view all 8 players. I think the casters should ONLY show 2 players on each team.. I just think that would be way more cinematic for the audience.
Changing the starting weapon from the BR to the Bandit Evo was such a good move, but Ranked and Pro Halo is basically just hitscans. It would be nice to see what players have precision aim with projectiles, and have to lead shots or bend shots with tracking, like why don’t we see more Cindershot, Skewer, Ravager, and Mangler? I think the Pulse Carbine needs a rework, but you know, I think more variety of weapons and aiming skills would be a lot more exciting, and create more skill gap, which is great for competitive play. Also having a mag less in starting ammo reserve would force more of this variety of weapon usage and for players to be more proficient with a greater amount of weapons than just hitscans, because although the BR suffocated the sandbox, and the Bandit doesn’t as much, the Bandit still constricts the sandbox, because like the BR, it’s better than most weapons on the wall. The Bandit increased skill gap, but barely fixed weapon sandbox usage. I do realize that starting without a secondary means most weapons on the wall will get picked up, but that doesn’t mean they are used. Like I said, the Bandit Evo was a great step in the right direction, but Competitive Halo can still be even better than it currently is.
@@lil-j-waters I’m going to repost on of my comments up above, since it is somewhat relevant to what you are saying. I want your opinion even further. (Post) Is it just me, or does it seem like the BR seem like maybe it wasn’t as strong as we thought? I feel like the BR is obviously better at cleaning up with headshots, but the Bandit and Stalker outclass is in every other way. Like when I pick up the BR, I feel like I loose duels that I normally win with the Bandit. Maybe it’s the BR RoF is slower than most strafe cadences, so it’s easier to strafe vs a BR. I just see these pros pass up on the BR a lot, so I’m wondering if they feel the same way I do, or if maybe I’m just missing something. (Post)
@@lil-j-waters I may be willing to settle with the Bandit not changing the skill gap, and just changing the primary skill that created the gap. You know, it’s possible that even with PC players getting aim assist, that their aim assist isn’t strong enough to make the BR function like it does on controller, in terms of getting all 3 bullets of a burst to hit more consistently. Maybe that’s more of a red reticle bullet magnetism thing and not a platform thing, but I think the Bandit may allow MnK to compete. Maybe I just got worse with the BR after taking a break and got used to the Bandit, because I remember mid range combat was so easy with the BR, but with the Bandit, people aren’t afraid to run up on you, as it’s better in close quarters than the BR. I feel like Ranked is a lot more fun and engaging with the Bandit, but it’s just the ranked sandbox is boring as hell.
@@lil-j-waters I definitely feel like the BR is much better than the Bandit at range, which is probably why I do good with it in 8v8 and 12v12 modes, but that’s anecdotal evidence, so it means little without the opinions of others to agree or disagree. You know, it’s hard to know the sentiment of the community, because the content drought is real. I haven’t seen a weapon tier list in half a year 😂, and forums are dead. So I literally don’t know what anyone thinks on gameplay related matters. Everyone is too busy getting into discussions on 343 failing Halo with micro transactions, which I’ve heard too much of.
Bro....Formal double beat down of camo.....and no kill. Why is online so freakin' bad! Optic just giving away too many deaths. So many situations where it's like....why die there? Formal and Trippy strugglin this series. You can tell on online tourney's who's getting pooped connection and the short end of the stick.

Eh, the BR is still just as powerful as it always has been in Halo Infinite, but the meta has changed significantly. With the Bandit having a higher rate of fire, and jiggle peaking being an intrinsic part of high/pro level gameplay now, the BR’s more team shot oriented play style doesn’t work as well. It’s simply a case of the meta changing, just like how in H5, we saw less usage of the BR and DMR respectively, due to the Magnum being the best all around starting weapon. You’ll still see pros pick up the BR to have in their back pocket, and it’s still far and away the better weapon for longer range encounters and cross mapping when compared to the Bandit. But, the latter allows for more skill expression and individual outplays, as well as faster overall gameplay for the pros. Though, they still have their grievances about the weapon, the rate of fire being too fast, it shredding shields too quickly etc.
@@danieldickerson4838 ok, so most of the Arena maps are more suited to the Bandit’s range. That makes sense based on my personal experience, because I do better with the BR on 8v8 sized maps. Maybe if they ever make a ranked mode for 8v8 or 12v12, they could make the BR the starting weapon for the larger maps. Who knows.

I'd prefer seeing 2 CTFs in a 7 game series.
Drop one of the Slayers IMO

Good commentators/casting best in halo competitive
Formal with the target acquisition to know which one to shoot for the last kill. Got that veteran action.
That map is SO swingy in general.

The pros complain
the bandit has a much faster TTK than the BR, which reduces the viability of other weapons in the sandbox. also, the bandit reduced the skill gap.
