It depends on your own style. I've always liked square even in the 90's. Never ever almond shaped! but My 37 yr old self doesn't look right with super long square nails now. Gotta have short 1s now.
I lost the technique needed to move around with them janks... it hard to clean and fix things with them long thing's on now. Lol
