The fact your not keen on horses but you still managed to give it a really good go and enjoy yourself you should be proud of yourself dude. They'll teach you some really cool tricks and they've got a really nice saddle for it too.

That is a very kind horse. Clearly, they are showing no pain or discomfort and are not bothered by gymnastics. I personally am cringing seeing sneakers on a very expensive saddle. Have you seen videos of vaulting? It would be awesome to see a video of the 3 musketeers trying vaulting. It is an Olympic sport!
Not actually an Olympic sport (yet, hopefully someday it will be) but it is one of the FEI recognized sports to participate in the World Equestrian Games and the World Cup

You can stand behind horses as long as they are trained properly. I stand behind my horse all the time. She doesn’t care at all. I wouldn’t go behind some unknown horse though.
What in the world made you think this was a good idea? That horse is a sentient being not a piece of gym equipment. So disappointing...that wasn't "sick", it was abuse.
Horses will show you their discomfort very clearly. Btw in equestrian vaulting all of the exercises are done while the horse moves in canter, so this was an easy task.
