Drawing kids accurately is mainly a matter of getting the heads proportions correct. Babies are born with huge heads in proportion to the rest of their bodies and our bodies eventually catch up in size so that as adults, we are 7-8 heads tall on average. Kids are in between, at 5 heads tall around 5 years old and 6 heads tall around 10 years old.

It took me too long to realise that the kids' faces were censored and that they weren't wearing masks.
The pics are from online magazine articles open to the public but I still felt a little weird so I markered over them.
