I got interested in this deck thanks to opening Professor Putricide. Result: Jumped from ranks 18 to 15 and also crushed a Pirate Warrior and Aggro Druid. I LOVE THIS DECK!
I built a deck of denial. It's a Hunter deck with one Mindbreaker (to counter death knight hero powers), two oozes (cuz there's more weapons in the meta), one Eater of Secrets (for Quest Mage), one Hungry Crab (for murlocs), one Golakka Crawler (for Pirates), two Spellbreakers (for Taunt/Deathrattles and ridiculous buffs), two Skellamancers and two Defender of Arguses (to counter board clears and aggro), one Dirty Rat (to pull out combo pieces), and two Stitched Trackers (to search for the counters). Fill the rest with powerful hunter cards and you got yourself a deck. And after play testing, it performs surprisingly well.
I think I understand why this deck did so well. Since it is still kinda early in the season if you play a lot you will pass all the slow decks and encounter the fast aggressive decks at higher ranks. This deck is quite good against those aggressive decks. It is also not bad against Mage which is top tier right now. If you started playing now you might do very badly with this deck as you will encounter decks with lots of taunt, heal, and AoE removal.
Nope, Barnes has an unique synergy in this deck, so if you bring a Highmane or Cloaked Huntress to field you gonna gain an incredible advantage in the match. I have made 29-0 with this deck, it's a really nuts deck if you know how to do the things in the right time. But if you dont have Barnes i personally suggest you to put a tech card like Blacknight, Eater of Secrets or something like that.
UA-cam follower 24 wins and 6 losses add up to 30 games in total. He won 24 out of those 30 games. 24/30=0.8, so 80% win-rate. And actually he won 25 so it's actually a bit higher (80.6%)
UA-cam follower 24 wins, 6 losses. That's 30 total games. 24 wins / 30 games = 80% of games were won. Oh, and including the last game, 25/31 = 80.645% (someone above forgot to add another game to total played and got 83.333%). ALSO! I'm pretty sure the thumbnail said "in 25 games" originally, which is probably why all the confusion happened.
Awesome Video! I was just wondering if its ok when i use some of your card ratings for my Video clips. My Idea is to make compilations of pro player reactions to certain cards so you can directly see the diffrent thoughts about a new HS Card. Please consider giving me feedback :)
what the fuck bro.. i go to make this deck and realize u need kara unlocked AFTER disenchanting maddd shit to buy some stuff n fucked my self./... and i dont spend money on it so im ultra fucked
sucks badly against taunt. shaman roll you as well. druid roll you. for fucks sake. this is I kinda think all decks roll you except warlock. tried this and toasts midrange deck. and honestly. thijs deck is shit. for me. 0:7 for his deck... 5:0 for toasts hunter deck. well... I clearly see which one depends not so much on draw luck
Ben Hanson well. I think it is good example. statistically of seven games I should have had even one game to be close. by the way. it's now 0:12 and 14:4. garbage deck in my opinion. would have been interesting to see the losses. what can you learn from great wins with great card draw. almost nothing. I don't say thijs is not a good player, but in this movie you see wins. no mess ups. even with a new deck I should be able to make one win on rank 11. good i had toasts hunter deck. otherwise I would be at zero stars 15. and the best thing is hahahahaha.... I faced exactly this deck with toasts one and I steamrolled them like they were even not present. yes. for me the prove that thijs deck doesn't work out pretty well.
Ben Hanson and I saw this movie again. honestly? for example the druid? no brain. token druid and seeing a secret and attacking anyway? sorry, but megamisplay. then pirate warrior. everybody knows to clear beasts from hunter. supermisplay. mage.. well probably had shitty cards and in addition thijs top deck all stuff he needed exactly then. top deck is not the way I like to play games. this deck works out for him. but not for others. I lost two games against his hunter games. and I had in summary 11. I faced them with pirate warrior, quest warrior , secrets mage, toasts hunter deck and midrange Paladin. so well. tell me dude, not enough data to maintain my thesis that's this deck could be not as great as it is sold?
Roland Kreslin I never said how good this deck was, as you're probably right that It's not a good deck, I just hate people talking as if single digit game sample sizes are at all significant
Ben Hanson I really try interesting decks quite to excess. but I saw this one and I was like.. Again? before un goro it was shit and now before frozen it should be great again? come on. honestly? ok I didn't watch his whole stream.. just the movie here, because I have better things to do as to watch all his stream time. I prefer really streams or movies from rdu, kripp, kibler and toast. there comes up more tutoring stuff than at thijs. at him you here almost always i should have play that and great to see you again, welcome for sub blablabla.
This is great and all, but wouldn't it be more useful to see a good mix of games where things don't all literally work out perfectly? Obviously there are scenarios where it hums like this, but there's no way the average game goes like this. I'm happy for him and all, but Fireballing a 4/2 and not having the Volcanic Potion? Come on. They always have it.
that's a lie...this deck sucks. I used to play secret face hunter all the time in wild, and the biggest problem with the deck is lack of carddraw. What happens if you simply don't draw secret keeper or huntress? You lose automatically. You also lose automatically against any taunt deck with healing.
Well, I've tried this deck out in Standard, and it is completely op against rogues (no healing) and somewhat strong against midrange hunter. It seems to work better in standard due to lack of reno in priests and mage.
Ian Yu I have just made a Secret Hunter list thst is really good. I will tell you why. During the deckbuilding process I remembered what Strifecro said: "This is a deck made for playing in topdeck mode". My list is aggresive so my highest cost card is Leeroy. My list has x2 tracking, x2 quick shot, x2 mad scientist and x1 jeeves. You just develop a board, filter your deck and cycle, and end games topdecking mostly useful cards.
Hunter decks require zero skill.. this video is a prime example of hstone players who think they are pro, but play the most hot garbage decks that a caveman could play and win.
Yaaaay... because hearthstone definitely needs another wave of bell ends copying a cancer deck furiously trying to get the card back... thanks dude RREEEAAAALLY great content for the community.
Those 25 games without counting the lost matches make this deck 100% winrate
HANAYOOOOOO
After a simple hand calculation... I can confirm.
I got interested in this deck thanks to opening Professor Putricide. Result: Jumped from ranks 18 to 15 and also crushed a Pirate Warrior and Aggro Druid. I LOVE THIS DECK!
Kolento making Hunter Great again !! Keep up the good work. BTW i liked your acting in Cure for Welness

MaTeIRiA yeah... i am always risking all my gold for arena run and I get about 4 wins that means lost gold-still only 1 wing from every adventure
Can u replace barnes in this deck?
Nope, Barnes has an unique synergy in this deck, so if you bring a Highmane or Cloaked Huntress to field you gonna gain an incredible advantage in the match. How is this deck in this Season?
I smashed everything at Rank 22/21 !!!11111
Secret Hunter in 2k17 lul
Nicolas Krausse if its a good deck then why not 😃
Why the Barnes?
it combos well with cloaked and high mane even friendly grandmother my man
It's really just a contest on which deck is the most cancerous
I never saw this hydra being useful in a single game.
Kamikaze Ray so true. i dealt so much pocket damage to that hydra alone just to dmg my oponent and get lethal
Secret Hunter !!!!
Son Deck of SMORC
Dude, I went against this today in casual, what the fuck
I wish I could get cat trick :(
I cant even get past rank 20 so i never play ranked
Only one highmane? Gasp

omfg dude you are the MANNNN. your reactions are the SHIT plus your accent! oh man dont change a thing you are the shit!!!
Nice
NICE
24/6= 75% winrate right???
How you math?
Also it's 25-6
So 83.333
UA-cam follower

ZeForte how many youtube creators have you edited for?
Just Thijs, Seagull (~2 months), and Lifecoach (~1 month)
This deck is crap unless you draw like a god from turn 1. And if opponent has heals you auto lose
I was that stupid shaman from first part,i still punish myself for missplay with snipe, but i ddnt streamsnipe atleast monkas
what the fuck bro.. i go to make this deck and realize u need kara unlocked AFTER disenchanting maddd shit to buy some stuff n fucked my self./... and i dont spend money on it so im ultra fucked

disgusting hunter.
Besides Athene made this ages ago with almost 100% winrate
this is why i got tired of hearthstone
sucks badly against taunt. shaman roll you as well. druid roll you. for fucks sake. this is I kinda think all decks roll you except warlock. tried this and toasts midrange deck. and honestly. thijs deck is shit. for me. 0:7 for his deck... 5:0 for toasts hunter deck. well... 5 and 7 game sample sizes are awful and there's absolutely no reason for you to make judgements based off of results like that
Ben Hanson well. *checks the dislikes on the video*: less than 800
Conclusion: not pirate warrior *begins watching*

That's true, I copied thijs' exact deck and I'm going to try it in Standard now

2/10 - 20% winrate for me :/
git gut (jk) I think you need to get used to the deck more
but with this deck a non secret hunter can easly pwn you. still a good deck though
One of the old cancer deck.
Its cheap, now everyone starts to play this anti interesting deck...
Way too inconsistent, great deck if you are a lucker. I AINT. Nice clickbait my man.
