This is one video, that will stay with me forever. I don’t think anyone else would have put this phenomenonal piece of advice in a better way. Being 20, these questions arise in my mind everyday, and i sleep with no absolute answer towards the end of my day. But this , this , this one video really gave a new perspective to all the dilemma’s. I can never thankyou enough @AnkurWarikoo. Thankyou for existing. Thankyou...
I think I am a bit lucky, my parents understand my point of view. Though sometimes not immediately but they do. I have always got a chance to decide for myself, what I want to do.
I just had a fight with my dad (relating to independence) this video is truely an eye opening for me and surely it has motivated me to be financially independent as early as I can..thank you sir ❤️
The truth is, parents can be ruthless, brutal, biased, traumatic n so on... Haar maa, maa nahi hoti; haar baap, baap nahi hota. Agar parent hone ka ghamand ho to kya baap, kya maa :(

This proves that your papa truly cares about you and want to make himself better...lucky you meko jabardasti dikhana padta hai n meko lecture sunate ki meko sikha mat how to be parent. Meri mum understanding hai and she appreciated this video even though she completed her studies till 12th and house wife. Thank you so much, I've always faced this problem for wanting get a course for my own development but always struggle with my parents agreeing to me. Although I'm 13 and no where close financially independent, you've set that new goal in my mind and I will request my parents to allow me to be somewhat financially independent although they will still be able to know what I'm buying online.
Yaa, I can relate, even through I'm financially independent, my parents didn't listen Bcoz they have exhausted all their saving on my education. My financial independence comes at the price of their savings
I'm in my 20's and whenever I face the problems, i just do search on youtube and your words are so comforting and guiding me. I'm in same kinda situation now, my parents started hating me and not talking to me!. This hurts a lot, when i tried to explain they simply rejected without even knowing the full term. But i still have hope. One day they'll understand me.
This is what I needed. Thank you sir. You showed me a way. You gave me thoughts words. I will rewatch this video regularly so that I can remind myself your words.
Wow ..seriously I can't thank you enough for such an incredibly important advice ..lack of this understanding has causef me a lot of pain and hurt..I feel relieved ..thanks again for sharing your wisdom sir ...
A very well rounded video explained with narrative and with logic, love how your videos have improved in editing sir. Thank you for this wholesome video, clears a lot of things in my head. 💓
I want to go study abroad so i showed this vid to my parents and my father said that he will allow only if i prove to him that i can be financially independent…. Lets see what happens…
07:10 - You know, I agree but I am in a situation where I am not allowed to gain financial independence. Even if I try to, my resources will get taken away. I crave this independence but I am only (almost) 18. I have the drive and the craving and the motivation but I am told how I am not supposed to have any financial independence because "why do you need it? We'll pay for everything...you just study and get into a good college". This is what fucks with my brain...I have to sneakily look for legit opportunities for myself but I can't do them right now because I can't afford to loose the resources I have. I have to make strategies on how to "escape" this dynamic. The feeling of being in this situation is similar to being in a financially abusive relationship but it's not with a stranger, it's with my parent.
I don't know how I found you when I needed you. Damn, these questions were rising say after day and I didn't know what to do. How to handle it. Time to give it a another try. Thank you sir ❤️
The thing with me is that my dad don't want me to be financially independent because he thinks that then i'll be too smart for them to handle, and nobody will marry me
I do relate with the financial independent, but if parents ahsan kr rhe h paisa kharch kr rhe h, to wo maa baap kaise huye. Itna ghamand dikhayenge agar to. And moreover we didn't ask them to bring us in this world, unhone apni marzi se hme laya gaya is duniya m , to agar kisi bacche ko duniya m laa rhe h 2 log to unhe usko khush rkhna chaahiye, naaki attitude dikhana chahiye.. Ki parents h to kuch bhi krenge
How about we being financially independent but they still want us to get married to a person of their choice? It took me 5 years to convince my parents for marrying a person of my choice. Not blaming anyone, but I couldn't focus on my career in those 5 years. I used to be depressed, sad. Felt miserable all the time with regular fights on and off everyday. Gosh, I don't even want to remember that phase.
And what if I want to go another city for better education and they don't allow me to do so because they think "ke bahar jakar kya he ho jaega yaha he padhlo" and they have negative thinking about it and even demotivate and this whole thing really effect you mentally
What if parents even don't allowing me to become self independent, i told him that i want to become tutor just bcoz i want to become self independent still he doesnt allow me i cracked government exam to further studies still not satisfied, they dont want me to be self independent, am dying to make him proud and bcome self independent... But he prioritize my brothers wishes imstead of mine..
