- This good ol' bus is over 23 years old and still sounding strong. I hope this bus doesn't retire. It has a CAT 3116 engine, mated with Allison 643 Transmission, has a 9-second child alarm, and one of the best buses in the state of South Carolina!
I used to drive this bus back in 2014 I loved it
I want the same thing but the activity with warning lights and my bus used to make that same noise when the doors close with the red lights on, I think all old Thomas buses do that, and I live in south Carolina too!
My district has a MVP ER’s as activity buses
I like the beeping sound because he outside recording
I just love these buses they don’t needa retire I had 507-1268
SCPS Bus1188 I Like your channel
Well I've seen some of the Thomas MVP Buses already been crushed by Auto Salvage along with the old buses that was sitting by the fence in the back at the Summerville Bus Shop.
They need to not to replace
They didn't have no other choice but to replace those buses too many fires was breaking out in the rear engines.
I sure do miss these. Had the best sounding engine too with a nice takeoff.
Well, I see one, which is 507-0922. But now I don't because this one is donated to a River Tubing Company.
Signed, Angela.
I bet these buses ride smooth sailing
I have to disagree there I've drove many of these for south Carolina as well as the 88 bluebird international s1700s with the 7.3 Idis and they drove way better then these MVP's they bounce very bad and make a loud vibration when you hit 45 50 everyone I ever worked on and drove dod this they are prone to fire as well I've seen a bunch burn to the ground from oil or coolant lines blowing they are dangerous thank god sc finally replaced most of them they where death traps from my experience of 30+ years of being a state bus mechanic. Out of all the buses we have new or old mt favorites where always the 87-89 blue bird internationals they where extremely reliable and where very fun to drive and where smooth but the 7.3 idi will make you deaf you can hear them coming from miles away no joke anyone who has heard one knows what I mean
I don't see how adding a reverse beeper on the doors is anyway useful.
It’s not a reverse beeper it’s a 9 second child safety alarm it’s for bus drivers to check there’s no kids round the bus.
It's the 8 second alarm
Le'Teiz Jordan 9 but some did have the 8
It was required by the state of south Carolina
tengo videos pero tengo que irme en el bus tengo que trabajar en la escuela 😕
