As a man who played 40k in the first edition and has played all kinds of mini games since then, I can give this game a big thumbs up. It’s fun to play, and decently balanced. It also is great for us older gamers who have lives and limited space. It sets up on a regular diner table and you only need ten figs for a roster, so you can battle friends and go to tournaments without a giant drain on your limited time.
Thanks. You just saved me a lot of money. I didn't realize that you had to buy all the miniatures to get all the cards. There's no way I'll support a game that charges me $30 just so I can have 1 card that I need for a completely different group.
This has changed! You don’t need to do this anymore you can print the cards on their website

Minis look like action toys, it's not fitting to explore new color schemes and conversions, that is what keeps me off it. Rules and quality of the models looks smashing.
that's not true, just watch the streams from the developers where there constantly doing new colour schemes and conversions. i've seen some incredible conversions. some of the sets even have various build options
@@jamesgregory1530 It's true to me though, cause the superhero theme is kind of set, it does not speak to my imagnination. I love the part of the hobby where you create your own narrative. It is not a knock on the game, of course you can physically convert the models it is just that there is other games that offer more freedom and a lore with more room to express your self via the models.
The cost of the miniatures almost makes GW look like their pricing is reasonable 😂
