Thanks Brett! Any guide “instincts” come from learning from one of the best guides on the lake, Bloemendaal Guide Service and Bloemendaal Fishing! No joke.
Amazing fishing, huh? I couldn’t have scripted a better half-day of fishing. Maybe top it off with a tank. But still, I’ve only caught bluegills in MN like this before. Never a walleye bite like this. Thanks for stopping by to share in our joy. It was a blast.
I had no idea it was like that over there. I was afraid they would have moved down stream by the time we were there. But never fishing from an area and finding some stragglers just chilling in shot of a 1/4 jig and a swimbait was a dream come true when everyone else was tugging bb’s through 15 fow.
I enjoyed White Earth Bay back in the 80's. I'd follow along the old Missouri River bottom. Lots of walleyes and sauger. What I noticed that's different from your video to back 30 or 40 years ago...there weren't any other boats. Very nice video.
Yeah. That would be nice. We found our own spot at least, but we could still see other boats. It was probably the most ferocious walleye bite I’ve ever seen. They acted like hungry piranhas. Thanks for your continued support by watching my labor of love. I’m glad you get something out of what I’m creating. It doesn’t have to be just a selfish capture of memories for me and my friends. Ha, ha.
Great couple hours of fishing Randy. It just got HOT so quickly!!! Fishing a new area, we didn’t expect to catch as many as we did. We didn’t see any of the other boats catching fish like we did. The game plan of staying away from the other boats paid off! Great footage until the cameras started overheating and shut down.
Yessir! 90+ degrees in the air and 400+ degrees in the lake. It WAS on fire that day for sure. As funny as it sounds to hear everyone say it. If only our backyard had fishing like this every day and we didn’t have to drive 2 hours. But if it was this easy to catch walleye all the time, I don’t think it would have such a draw for anglers everywhere. Thanks again for letting me tag along on your adventure, Roger and Starla!
Awesome video, y'all! Glad to see Roger and Starla hammering some fish. Randy's guide instincts were on point there!

That’s great fishing!!!
Actually…. I’d call that “Catching”. 👍
