Yeah b!
This video is really cool because I am yet to see a Ghanaian do well in passing the LSAT and being accepted at a School in America.
After 2008 many Ghanaians have done well in understanding the US College Admissions process especially the Law School Admissions Process.
Ohh I'm so happy for you. I'm an undergraduate Student in political science in Cameroon🇨🇲 an I'm planning to go to Law School in USA🇺🇸 You can't imagine how this video motivates me. Thank you so much for sharing. I have three questions:-
1) Did you had a fully funded scholarship?
2) How did you prepare for the LSAT? (Documentation)
3) How many did you scored at the LSAT? (on 180)?
I'm waiting for your reply Thank you ❤️
Hello, will drop my email in my next video so you can reach out to me with all these, would love to be of help!
@@tarfuah ok fine I will like to network with you...

Congratulations Obaa
Thank you!
Please which agency did you work with. I mean the name
So assuming you have LLB degree in Ghana, do you have to undertake the JD in the US for the period?
No you do not have to, you can just pursue your LLM over here instead.
Hi, so if you have LLB do you still have to do the LSAT before you can apply to study law in the US?
@@yawfraser Hello, no. You can simply apply to do your LLM for areas without the LSAT.
@@tarfuah ohk. Thank you
Aw congratulations 🎉 the hard work paid… I don’t know you but I’m so happy for you 😍😭
Thanks a lot babe! Appreciate you!

Hello Tarfuah, I am Jamaican and attending law school in the US. How did you manage the culture shock? any tips
Hi, it was stressful at first, but as I made more friends, I just got used to it. Assimilation was really the key for me I guess, being open minded and learning new things.
Hi, im interested in law school, im also from Jamaica. I have a bachelor degree from Jamaica, should i go ahead and do the LSAT or do I have to do another 4 year degree in the USA? I hope you see my comment, im trying to research it but im not getting a clear answer.
Please where is the LSAT centre located in Ghana.
Hi, the exam was previously taken at the British embassy but because of Covid it was moved online. I’m not sure what the situation is in Ghana now, but will find out and get back to you.
Hi…I heard being on scholarship means you are required to return to your home country after your study. Does this mean you can’t practice in the US after your completion?
Hello, this is not true. You are not obligated to return because of a scholarship. You can practice in the states after school so long as you get a work permit or green card.
@@tarfuah thanks

Hello there, you can go straight ahead and do the LSAT, you don’t need another 4 year bachelor degree. That’s the route I took. Hope this helps!
@@tarfuah ok dear, thank you.
How did you apply to all the 8 schools. Did you pay application fee for all
I applied through LSAC after taking my exam. I wrote emails to some schools asking for application fee waivers and the schools granted them, so I didn’t have to pay application fee to all the schools I applied to.
Please i hv degree in public health and Msc in health informatics can i apply. My gpa was 2.73
Hi there, yes! You can definitely apply.
Pls how many hours were the classes
Approximately 4 to 5 hours every 3 days of the week.
Tarfua l am preparing to take the LSAT… l am in Ghana 🇬🇭. The LSAT is a nerve wrecker 😢. Lol it's not easy

I studies for a year before taking the test
How long does it take to study in a law school?
JD takes 3 years and LLM takes a year
You just gained a subscriber. Please can we know all the law schools you applied to?
Hi thank you! Georgetown, Nebraska College of Law, Atlanta John Marshall, California Irvine, UIUC, Case Western, are amongst the schools I applied to. I usually have difficulty remembering them all but these are most of them. I hope you find this helpful.
Hello sis, please I'm sandra from Ghana and a professional teacher l did my first degree in Education but I want to divert to study law in the USA please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 what should I do because I don't my any law background and I want to be on scholarship too
Hi, you need to take the LSAT exam and then apply to law school
Thank you very much dear 🙏
❤️👍
Will you come back to Ghana to practice
I want to practice in both Ghana and the states
Hi dear congrats 🎉
Lets say i have LLB degree ( south African) if I want to practice law in the USA do I need to go to law school or do LLM for a year
Hey friend! As a aspiring law student lol, if your bachelor’s degree is sufficient, you may need to take the bar examination to practice law in the USA. However I may be entirely wrong as I’m learning this process too.
@@LeboneM thank you friend: so it just bar exam no need to the LLM for a year right .thank you so much for the information I just want to make sure I'm in the right direction so any information I get save and screen shot❤️
Hello there, if you already have an LLB you don’t need to take the JD. Most of the students I know here who already have LLBs from their country just do the LLM for a year and take the bar exam.
What if you have a law degree from Ghana
Then you can apply for your LLM instead
@@tarfuah that is awesome.. Thank you
