Cardinal Burke Launches 9 Month Novena to Pray for the Catholic Church | EWTN News Nightly

Right now our world is besieged by so many problems. War, disease, hunger and loneliness are just a few examples and one cardinal is launching a 9 month novena to pray for the Church amid "forces of sin". Cardinal Raymond Burke says, "Now more than ever, we must fly to our Lady for her intercession. I am therefore calling on Catholics all over the world, especially those in the Americas to join me to returning to the loving embrace of our Lady." Cardinal Raymond Burke founded the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Wisconsin. Now, he is inviting Catholics to become prayer warriors by seeking Mary's intercession. The initiative starts March 12th and ends on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th. Cardinal Burke tells us what inspired him to launch the nine month novena and why now. He explains how the faithful participate with him. Cardinal Burke will be headlining the Christendom Graduate School symposium in April. He gives us a preview of his keynote address.
