The plane is supposed to represent the whole concept of being unshackled and at the top. Even though the plane looks so admirable soaring through the sky, it carries the weight of people's lives on board, similar to what it means to be a hero in their society.

This is one of the best opening covers ever made in my honest opinion. I can listen to this without reading the words.
The issue with almost every cover is that they use words that don't sound good. It's hard to do since japanese and english don't translate very well perfectly.

When I first came here (BTW never been on this channel) I thought this was the official dubed version in lyrics!!! Just goes to show how good you are at singing!
I was trying to figure out why I like this English dubbed song, as I've hated all other anime songs dubbed in English, and I've come to my conclusion.
1. The song actually sounds like an American song when sung in English, not like a Japanese song sung in English

This happens to me so much but, no your efforts where not in vain i don't wanna sugarcoat anything but have you been going the distance. Make sure you hear yourself when you sing because of you don't you won't sound that great. Use tuning apps they can tell you how you sound and if ypu are off tune. The most important thing is to not give up keep trying them making fun of you should be motivation to do better. Make it so that they can't make fun of you when you sing. Just remember don't give up.

Good day! I am by no means and expert, but I have been able to improve my singing greatly by doing a few simple things daily.
Here are my tips:
1- Warm up your voice before you start singing. Warming your voice allows you to sing better and feel better about your voice, also. There are many warm-ups right here on UA-cam!
2- Try to find apps and UA-cam channels to improve your voice. If you can, buy a paid course.
3- Practice daily, and do not be discouraged. If you keep fighting, you can make it!
I hope this helps. Good luck with your dreams and keep fighting. Your struggles are never in vain, because they help you grow.
