Pluto in Capricorn destroyed everything. Marriage, death, family, finances, identity... but it also freed me to become the person I am today. It was all horrifically painful and shattering.

I can relate to what you've said. Since 2008, the beginning of the destruction of my entire life, marriage, home, finances, identity and the grief and stress that accompanied the losses and removals. It's been heartbreaking and I realise it was needed to be a free me, authentic with boundaries with family and friends. Moving countries I had to understand the culture and stand up for myself. I feel like there's a change afoot and its exciting. The hardest part has been the letting go of what has been to make space for the new. I understand it all now but it's been hard, worth it but hard.

I thought I was chosen until I found this video. This comment section is filled with WARRIORS. Only warriors could be alive after Pluto in Capricorn for 20 years. As a Capricorn rising everything that was listed before me, I experienced in my 20s & 30s. I stand tall today! Period. I know my spirit chose this hand. I let everyone go. I rebuilt many times. Too many times. My gosh if you are not a comedian after that shit bc at this point you have to laugh at life. I ended up writing book. The Journey to Mental Resilience. Since 2008 my life has been destroyed. I lost my Mother, father and both sisters. Went through a very bad divorce was diagnosed with Lung Cancer, battled addiction and honestly I have no idea how I have made it this long. My Spirituality has been tested that is for sure. I have no idea what I was supposed to learn from all these losses. I know that no one should have to go through this, and I have no idea of how I am still alive. It always seems like Capricorn's get the short end of the stick. Once I figure out what I was supposed to learn from all this I will be sure to let you know because right now I have no idea. All I know is that it has been a very hard and long 15 Years. Thank you for giving me a little hope that this is ending.
Maybe the lesson is that you made it through and that you are resilient. Congratulations, you are alive. And maybe chuck this belief: "no one should have to go through this". People go through horrific experiences.

Since 2008. Recovery from alcoholism. Retired from work. Helping two children move with their lives. Quit smoking. Getting my old house fixed up. Started yoga. Studied astrology for 2 1/2 yrs. Opening up to the universe. Love every minute of it!

I am a Capricorn rising, Aries sun. Pluto in Capricorn was/is a nightmare from beginning to end. It ripped every part of my life apart and I have in no way recovered yet: ALL finances and income were taken off me during this period and you have ZERO control; the unfairness is gobsmacking and I am a VERY hard working, responsible Capricorn rising. My whole life has been completely restructured. The positives? Certainly you HAVE to come into your own power or you simply won't even survive. You have to face and conquer fears and you grow, REALLY, REALLY grow but the pain is horrendous. And yes Molly, BOUNDARIES is a huge focus; you have to get stronger boundaries. It's actually encouraging to read that I have not been alone because during this time you can only think 'WHAT did I do to deserve this?' and it is with you for sooooo long. I can't imagine ever fully recovering from this because the world has changed and I have aged. Pluto is brutal; it is absolutely brutal, there is no other way to describe it.

Since 2008 I’ve absolutely transformed. Don’t even recognize that person anymore, seems like many lifetimes ago. Biggest overall lesson I guess was I was a doormat. I was willing to do anything to not experience loss. I never, ever protected or defended myself. Thank Pluto, rough ride, recommend new shocks 😂, but now I see it as so necessary and so beautiful. ❤ many blessings to you all.

Same here. Realised putting up & shutting up in relationships that were getting worse does not work long term. Had to end some long term friendships with people i thought were so nice & thought would last forever. Ended up seeing the real side of these people. So this prompted me to do a lot of personal development & recognise my codependency & patterns from childhood. Been a long & bumpy road.

It destroyed everything and kept me in this black hole from which I came up only because I am a Capricorn. Knowing that it is not over makes me shudder.

I have had very similar issues since 2008; some periods lighter, but overall an extremely difficult transit where yes I can totally understand suicidal thoughts, or fully giving up, it’s that dark. Throw in an earthquake in my transit plus numerous deaths of family members, friends and pets and that’s my experience. Cap is my moon sign, so the emotional aspect is fully heightened. I can truly understand what you are saying. Finically I have gain strength and determination. I've gained patience with self and learned many lessons that don't work. I am not afraid of failure, just more focused and non-tolerant of the messy ppl I use to deal with or entertain. This has been the most strengthening experience of my life. I am so grateful, ohhhhh! I had my Uranus opposition 22 degrees Taurus. I'm scorpio Uranus, man its been all good. Mostly because I have been aware and healing myself slowly and purposefully. I'm Capri rising/ scorpion sun, and yes, it hasn't been easy. I became the woman/ man of my house when my husband had a bad accident and broke his back.
I had thyroid cancer when to surgery and treatment, and finally, my baby boy was diagnosed as type 1 diabetic at 2 years old. Economically, there were no losses, but not gained either. Sorry for my English!!

I feel like the frog that gets disected but it's been so slow and I'm just laying down all split open. Pluto in Capricorn is moving through my 5th house and so far my joy, my hearts desires, my creativity is dissolving and gone. So far the most difficult time in my life. I feel empty, no one's home, without any motivation and my energy level is very low. Feels like my life ended. The Phoenix rising part is unimaginable. I'm just here, just breathing......

Omg, my whole life has changed since 2008. I Lost my career, my home, my 2 best friends, and fractured my neck! Thanx to a lot of therapy and other healing modalities, I no longer over-give or make myself small. And thankfully, I've also levelled up emotionally, have clearer boundaries, and value my time and energy 🙏🏼.

I can't even begin to tell you how things have changed for me, with Pluto in Capricorn. I'm Capricorn Sun, and starting just before 2008 (I have two planets in the tail-end of Sag), my life was destroyed, burned down to the ground, and I have built it all back up again. I am not the same person I was. I am better. I AM THE REAL ME. I have found my power, my gifts, my skills, because I HAD TO. We do not find our power in comfort. We do not find our strength when we are at ease. Life has to get TOUGH. And that's what Pluto did for me. I never gave up, I couldn't, even if I wanted to. There were times when, in all honesty, my thoughts were "I can't do this. But I have to. Because my only other option is to die. And that isn't an option". I am proud of what I have done, I am proud of who I am, and I am so much happier now than I was before the destruction. It was the shit stuff that was burned. It left me exposed, so that all there was, was me - raw and painful. Capricorn rising here. Since 2008, I went from single to married, became a mother, lived in 4 different states, and my career has been all over the place. I’m definitely stronger for it, and believe initiating change instead of being forced into it by the “planets” has worked in my favor.
I feel like the whole podcast discussed my life since 2008! Lol. Man...I wish I had found astrology back in 2007. At least being a Leo rising, has me aging backwards and cleaning up the last 15 years because I have the energy and the wisdom...and above all the self love to do so!

I've lost my home, money, relationship, job, family, I've completely hit rock bottom. To top it I have now suddenly lost my lovely dad.
My relationship with my mother has never been great. I'm trying to be the good daughter but she makes it really hard. I think for my own sanity im going to have to walk away and evaluate what my place in this family now is.
I find this astrological stuff confusing.

I have now watched this three times. This video could have been made just for me. I had set an intention to get to 100% who I came here to be after 9/11. In 2009 my marriage collapsed, in 2012 my daughter left for college. I lost my job and was unemployed for 4 years. I lost everything. But I am on the other side because I now know that to trust God I also have to trust others and myself. My value doesn't come now from job, money, etc. I am doing the work I love. I have since made a difference in the world. I also almost didn't survive. I am not doing anything big, but my life is meaningful and full of amazing people who really value, see, and appreciate who I am. I am so ready for the new to arrive!

Starting a little earlier at the end of 2005, when Uranus slammed into my 4th house, Pluto brought 1 divorce and loss of home, life in 6 countries, 5 jobs plus 2 pt jobs, 3 horrible relationships and 1 Masters degree. I’m glad that’s over. Now 61, far from my place of birth, jobless and with a sick husband and unhappy marriage, I’m looking forward to the rewards of all I’ve learned 😊
Cap rising at 22 degrees and cap moon at 24. After all that happened I'm amazed I'm still alive. Ugh, I thought sun Capricorn was bad, but can’t imagine my moon also. It’s been pure dread.
I have my venus in late sag, my north node, mars, mercury, uranus, neptune, and lilith all in capricorn and to say these years since 2008 have been life changing and soul transforming is an understatement. It has been relentless and the past I once knew and person I used to be can never be returned to. My sun/saturn conjunction is also in the early degrees of Aquarius and I literally haven't had a break from this energy since 2005. Ascendant is in the early degrees of pisces so when it's done in Aquarius I have that to look forward to. This has been a master soul evolutionary life for me to say the least.

omg Pluto has been in my in my solar 8th house and 9th house and over my MC since 2008. I am a Taurus rising, Gemini Sun and Sag moon and Right off the bat , It has literally destroyed the foundation of my entire life. My identity, death of so many people, career, health and totally burned me out. I went through the longest, deepest and darkest night of the soul for 5 years and almost took my life. My marriage has been hanging on by thread and now is completely falling apart now. And the cherry on the sundae was it took both my parents 4 days apart in Dec of 2020. Never in a million years did I think that I would ever survive. Right now I am standing on the ruble of my entire life and am totally exhausted and feel really vulnerable but Now I know that I can survive anything. Now it is going into my 10 house and going to hit my south node and natal Saturn. God help.
Marriage began and 2023 brought a much needed divorce, now I'm literally building myself up from nothing really, I'm feeling that these last two years will be the experience of transforming my life to how I deserve and make happen things that I've always wanted needed for myself❤ also Pluto is my chart ruler I feel it maybe has been a blessing for me 💯

I’m terrified with Pluto in Aquarius hitting my Asc around 2032! The Pluto transit in Capricorn was enough of a transformation why do I need to keep transforming!
Capricorn straddles my 2 & 3 houses. The theme of power over dynamics & challenges(bullying) from other people was strong. I’ve had to learn to take other people’s actions less personally, and to quietly stand my ground, especially during the trine to natal Pluto/Uranus.
On the first hit to my Moon 22Cap I was accidentally injured with multiple fractures. This completely changed my career path. I returned to my home town for 5 years, and began healing my relationship with my mother. I finally let her off the hook for my early childhood crap, and just met her as she is now.
During P’s retro hit, Mum had a massive stroke - fortunately it happened during a text chat; her sentences changed from coherent to gobbledygook, and we were able to get medical care soon enough to extract the clot and save her brain functions. She’s now relatively well for 89, still driving and independent.
Pluto in Capricorn has been facing me with racism, homophobia, glass ceilings, generational poverty, man created structures to keep people down, lack mentality, powerlessness and simply just feeling overpowered. I realized that all the wishes and dreams that I have had, I wasn't able to realize. I didn't lose the weight, I didn't become a global pop sensation, I didn't find my boyfriend, I didn't earn the money, I didn't even write the book. Every step, I was stripped away of vitality and energy to go after those things.
Writing this, I realize: none of those things seem to matter. And even though I was a young teenager at the start of this transit, a lot of my dreams and expectations where rooted in societal acceptance and achieving the top. I have this uncanny knowing, that I will get an abberation of all those wishes I have had. But not because of karma, not because of balance. I was merely meant to experience what most of humanity goes through. We are one. And the structures of lack, poverty and the meagerly, miserable, fat and disgustingly overfed 10% need to stop. I has to stop. We already have the technology, we have the visions. We need to create a world, where every human has the capacity for their needs to be met. Social, physical, psychological, emotional. Every human has infinite potential in them. Let's remove these artificially created structures based on greed and - quite frankly - stupidity, and move on.

2008 began what i thought was going to be freedom.. i had just achieved a divorce from an abusive partner whom i chose as a reflection of my parents relationship. But also because of a lack of self respect and self worth which i came to understand through the Pluto in Capricorn plan still in progress... I ended up going on a wild roller coaster ride and i learned so much through it all.. my alcohol near death experience.. the gun shot through my glass window.. surviving syphilis, getting choked by a boyfriend, a car accident that took my car, job, and house.. but not my life so I'm thankful.. then a 13 day homelessness retreat🙈.. Phew! Let me see.. oh yeah.. and as we speak, i have this huge growth on top of my uterus making me look pregnant but I'm not.. very uncomfortable.. 🙈😭 and now we will have Pluto doing more fun stuff in Libra which is where he is located retrograde for me😱☠️😈

2008 saw me in a new role professionally with a big promotion. It was full of challenge and conflict, but I survived until 2012 when a new opportunity at another location invited me to initiate a totally new situation. I grabbed it! For 6 years it was my focus and then I was done in 2018. Now creating another new world, still in progress. I have learned to trust that the universe will hold us and to have NO FEAR!
Wow. Seema like your timelines are very similair. But its truly started 2008 for rhe intensity of me knowing I had too change but not wanting to.. Scorpio Asc 7th Taurus and Venus stubborn blackmoon Lilith energy lol. However got a huge promotion in 2010 was riding high, then the startup company sold out and I got transferred for another 18 months then it sold again I left took my shares because another company wanted me to join them in 2014 started with them and then allot of very weird things coincidences etc happened and I was plunged into a Dark Night of the Soul for the last almost 8 years. I feel the shift. I have Saturn at 1 degree of Aquarius 4th H with Moon and Chiron. So definitely will be listening to your view of Saturn in Aquarius for the next 20 plus years of my life path journey. I feel as though Im having a rebirth, but I still have issues with making decisions that others would have me make so as not to upset the apple cart so to speak.

2005/2006 is when i started to face the headwinds. Then 2008 my life became so difficult. Job opportunities disappeared with the Great Rescission. Experienced failed business opportunity. Marriage was starting to start getting negative. Family sicknesses, deaths, evil spouse family was more dependent for my time and resources. Bad players popped into my life. More distractions from souse, family and friends. I became obedient and compliant thinking it was for all a better cause! And most importantly a contentious divorce. and never ever able to find my footing with strong and stable work. I had a great opportunity that fell apart because of the financial crisis 2008 and again I had a great opportunity come into my hands and eventually lose due to the pandemic and lockdowns, Always I was given a taste of good things only the carpet to be swept from right under me! I am a scorp 11-9 with capricorn moon. This sheds a bright light on the cause of my difficulties. I need this to end soon! Prayers!

A big thank you Molly for each and every episode that I have listened to over these past years. Your insights have offered reassurance and insights through this Pluto/ Capricorn time. I can state as have others that this has been the hardest journey of my life but the Divine has granted me a safe space from here on in in the last week of June. With many unexpected synchronicities I have bought an apartment in a beautiful village and the settlement date is on my birthday! I had no idea that this was going to happen so fast and unexpected the decision was. I feel vindicated of the misjudgements of others towards me. So many emotions but on my return home I felt tearful and that deepened the next morning. I asked why and I became conscious that this is the first time in my life I have felt safe. I felt surrounded with a loving hug of the Divine healing my inner child that had been abandoned following a trauma. I sensed the words it is finished. There was a closure of the old chapter and a new one beginning. I have felt exhausted by this shift but I am aware I need to rest just now and follow up with some adrenal support. This time for me was earth shattering to my core. I lost so much, and it was devastating. My prayer now is not to be so afraid to move forward and LIVE and become who HE has truly called me to be, without fear or doubt.
I have the moon, midheaven, and Mars in Capricorn. Plus all but 3 of my planets are in Earth or Cardinal signs. I am still going through the dark night. Oh Molly. Pluto has been so active in my chart!! I just came out of Pluto on my Moon at 25 Capricorn and before that Saturn at 18 Capricorn and Jupiter 2 degrees. This may have been lightened some due to my Sun 24, Mercury 22 and Venus 14 in Taurus. Cancer raising. I feel like I've been on a rollercoaster with a world pandemic only amplifying the fears and confusion. I am so happy to have Pluto moving out of my aura and look forward to what comes next.

I resisted leaving as my parents marriage ended in infidelity and lots of childhood trauma. I finally left after 25 years, and he died of cancer a year later! The changes were seismic! I am pisces with moon in cancer and have pluto,uranus and mars in virgo in the 10th house! Now Saturn has been kicking my behind for last year or so! And yet, here I sit typing basking in the glow of successful adventures yesterday using the skills and cardio power I got from the training and the grit while I settled a vast sea of unquiet ghosts no one in my family past ever stopped to address in the last 1000 years. With Libra rising it was necessary to unlearn the victim wishy washy feminized boy who goes all shuddering and tongue tied when truth threatens the safety of the lies Libra sometimes uses to keep the peace. I presume to be a professional musician without being strong, fit and healthy in mind body and spirit? Sit you down, boy; there's a process.

My Moon is zero Gemini so Pluto is also moving into a trine for me, first major aspect to my Moon from Pluto since 1996 with the opposition, when my emotional monsters were as yet unknown consciously. Now it's easier than ever to say goodbye to the old emotional terrors of my youth and ancestral inheritance. Night born, Moon on high and waxing gibbous from an underground Sun makes my Moon a lot more sensitive in consciousness than day borns, or night born with underground Moons.

All I want to do is scream listening to this. My moon is in Cap. I have always struggled with it as its opposition to my rising in Leo. Both square my sun in Taurus.
Everything in my life is upturned. 2008 started with divorce and though my friends, family love, and sobriety have been my most precious of gifts of this time- so much has been hard- especially the last 3-5 years. I am lost and striving to gain that discovery of self, healing, and trusting the path I’m on. Just feeling so much and overwhelmed with within and out. I just wake up and say- ok, let’s try this again.
This was eye-opening. Believe it or not, lol, the Universe actually has a plan for each of us. Can't see the forest from the trees pretty much sums it up, lol.

Like many people here, I can relate to my complete undoing since 2008. I have a Capricorn rising at 28 degrees, so I'm still in it at this moment. I hang on to the relief I felt for a short period when Pluto moved into Aquarius. But I know how transformative this has been too. It's been beyond uncomfortable (is there a word for this level of discomfort... torture maybe? :) And, I know how I am now. And hopefully will see this more clearly by 2024.

Considering I was four in 2008 this is actually really inspiring because I can tell where the influence is in the 2nd house. I was forced to be independent in a way and I learned a lot (way more than I should) about finances especially with my parents and it showed me a lot of insecurity there and showed me the path not to take but the easy path to follow. Coming out of this transit as an adult I'm really excited to see how these energies set a precedent and expectation for my life going forward. A little scared for the third house, though. It's so hard to figure out whether that's gonna be a transformation of my siblings? communication? Will I get in a really bad car crash? I just don't know lol

@@offbrandoogieboogie8104 i was 6 yrs old in 2008. Age 19 was somehow the best and worst year of my life. I'm also nervous about the uncertainty of what can come. But it's really cool you've been studying astrology since 12. I really like listening to it but have never formally studied. It's a really helpful tool for navigating life. I really wish i was aware of it when i was 19 since i could've used it to better assess a certain decision that ruined everything. (self-sabotage)
I have no points in Capricorn but I have one in Taurus and lots in Virgo and it definitely has not been a beautiful experience of Pluto in Capricorn.
I had several beautiful moments only to be destroyed and taken away from me. Definitely had soul growth and hopefully cleared the way for Pluto in Aquarius . I’m glad to find the Astrological and Soul reasons for my life since 2008. I have definitely transformed.. it has been hard but hopefully worth it!

All I can say is my Pluto in Capricorn journey must have been the deterioration of my father …. He was diagnosed with a degenerate brain disorder in 2008 ( so rare doctors don’t even really know what it was? For a while he was diagnosed with PLS however as his symptoms progressed over years it was obvious that wasn’t it). He was my structure my grounding my world and the whole experience was incredibly painful… he was literally my earth :). I miss him and I hope this year I can create my new earth energy , structure, and stability. I love you dad! RIP

This video has been incredibly helpful and makes sense of an extremely difficult time that has brought about endings, radical changes and new beginnings; resulting in me taking early retirement to leave my home country for distant lands where I bought a ruin with abandoned land to restore. Now, I feel very grateful for the permanent release of my old life, and invigorated and fulfilled in my new one. Pluto hasn't quite finished with me in Capricorn, being conjunct my MC at the moment.

I can totally understand this Pluto Journey through Capricorn now. My pluto is in Virgo ♍️ Im a Taurus ♉️ Sun and a Virgo ♍️ Rising. I had my daughter in 2008, the day after my birthday and man have I experienced so much Loss and Grief! Especially in this past year, lost so many beautiful young angels 😇 and also 2 huge relationships that were extremely toxic... 11 years apart. Im now moving forward, keeping strong and My therapy and Spirituality has really grown and changed. 🙏 Especially in these past 4 months ages.
