Edwards, a former Spurs player was let go for good reasons, what has changed? KWP same,he was also let go for obvious reasons,he was not good enough for Spurs and still not good enough
Dan’s point and the debate on club signing vs Ange signing is a bit nonsensical. Tottenham will be out monitoring and scouting 100s if not 1000s of players, like every other club, especially if they are young and developing a reputation as some hot prospect. I would be almost certain that Tottenham have been monitoring Eze for the last 2 or 3 years and probably since before he joined Palace. If we sign him would that make him a club signing because Tottenham have been looking at him since before Ange arrived. Any player bought for the first team Ange will get a final approval on.
I’m also curious as to what an Ange signing means, do people really think he has time to scout and identify players, to determine which players are available and at what price, to do all the data analysis to identify potential players etc. Ange along with the head of recruitment amongst others will identify which positions we need to strengthen, which players we want to get rid of. The clubs recruitment department then needs to go away and identify players that meet the criteria set out by Ange, identify players that may be available (not everyone is available) and are within the clubs wage structure and transfer budget. There will be a shortlist of potential targets which Ange will have a final say on.
I just want to know where i stand with my manager, He stated clear as day Every signing is his shout choice ? Signing Werener doesn't give me much hope.......
@@TheHotspurHood We have so many holes in the first team squad that I don’t think we can fill every one in this transfer window, so it is about priorities. I would hope Werner is a short term backup squad option and we sign someone like Eze. I don’t see us spending £60m on someone like Eze and then another £40m on a backup. I’m sure Ange is not blind and ideally would want someone better, hence why it is a loan and not a permanent signing
@@mrg8537 I agree it is an easy option in that way the thing is when he goes and makes the same choice with a player that everyone who lives in reality knows is crap it doesn't look good on Ange, £165k a week ? 3 solid players and use the youth team not spend £30m on youth who will probably be on the bench or £165k pw on a reject when it could have gone towards a player for now. That's my only problem with it. Lets hope the window ends good cause it hasn't started good. Fair points you made. One other point, alot of people big Ange up like for Gray, VDV etc.... but then say Werner was not Ange it's not "nonsensical" "Foolish" You can't just pick as you please. Dan stelios and savva have no respect for ange full stop they say they back the manager but that's becuase they are trying to sit on the fence incase Ange turns things around

So your turn WHAT should I be positive about To make me think we can win things next season ? Yes Gray a good signing for the future I agree but we need players that win NOW ? If I'm wrong I'm always 1st to Admit it........ and If Ange isn't top 4 or close to it within lets say 9pts max he will be sacked by Christmas/January Levy does it every time I'll bet you money on it. I want Spurs to win things, be a football club not a business. You just said "In case Ange turns things around" So you obviously think were going in the wrong direction by saying that ?
