I remember the Sacking video. First one of Robs that I saw. Went a little bit viral that one did. The algorithm put it in front of thousands of us who all subscribed straight away. Win-win. And it's still as relevant today as it was then.

Hi Rob I've been using some 16ft tripod henchman ladder last week to prune a cherry tree & dismantle a smallish ash tree. Blooming awkward to manoeuvre about on site, but once set they are solid & safe, not for the faint hearted. Keep hustling Rob.

Hi Rob, hope you are well. Really enjoying your videos. You should have started a Grass Cutting recruiting business as a side earner... I'm planning to become a recruit very soon after 23-24 years service(Army) and a couple years wasting my time in a desk job at MOD getting brain fog from the laptop all day! March/April is my plan down in the North Devon and Cornwall area. Just building the equipment up now and looking at the business plan. Dont know why I didn't do it earlier! All the best, Tony J. 👍💪

    Great reminder Rob, cheers.
The algorithm looks at the title and if it thinks it might appeal to other viewers it puts it on their home page. Then if lots of people look at the vid and watch a decent amount of it then the algorithm promotes the vid more, and that's how it can go viral.

That is so true what you say about having spidey-senses in business. I buy and sell on facebook marketplace and it does take a real knack to quickly weed out the genuine people from the timewasters, And that's not including scammers!
All the best for the Summer season Rob.

There is only so much to say on any subject. It's only natural that "creators" are going to copy each other as I'd guess most would struggle to think of new content to keep the algorithm and there bank balances happy?
I'd see it as a form of flattery that it's yours they copy.
As you know I'm also trying to move more towards lawn care this season. Feel free to give us a shout anytime to discuss strategies etc

You’re so honest Gary, it’s refreshing.
I agree with you , all channels need to give the viewer something. That could be educational or a bit of escapism.
I like to think that I am just having a bit of crack over a cup of tea with the viewer, nothing more complicated than that.
      All the best.

Just lost another two. One has gone to another "better" gardener and another has been booted out of her rental house and gone to another where i don't go. Because its a dump of an area. Couldn't care less to be honest. Ill get another two by April. Great vid again.

Interesting what you say about UA-cam earnings. I sometimes watch another gardener who does van chats, he claims to be getting £250 - £350 a month from UA-cam. I won't name him, but his chats are pretty dull compared to yours, I wonder why he gets more views 🤔

You mention spider sensors where customers say key words that you have to pickup on.They could be bad from the start or a couple of days weeks months.Sometimes customers can get really bad I am learning to pickup on these key words as it can save customers wasting my time.

Love your videos, but i think there's a bit of the " mother in-law syndrome" in all of us. i know when i have people do some work for me, on my property you can always find faults that is why i try and do it myself, or i find a good. Contractor 😂. Very hard to find nowadays as i have learnt the last few years. But i think mother in-law syndrome is good thing, if you treat every customer as if they are your mother-in-law you won't go far wronge.😂😂😂
