I am from Luxembourg and have been to hundreds of driven hunts there and in the bordering countries. It is fascinating to compare and see differences and similarities. Great video. It is good to look at other hunting systems/traditions/variations to learn and improve and to evaluate your own hunting strategy/ethics at the same time. Let's all keep an open mind because at the end of the day, we are all in same boat as hunters.

I have been involved in drives here (USA) and agree that they are a very useful tool for game management. While I prefer solo hunting and relish my time in the field, drives are a great way to get together with friends and family to just have fun.

Nice hunt. Driven hunting with dogs is my favorite type of hunting. In Slovenia we have similar type of hunting but with less dogs(but they are more active,independent tracking). 🐗🦌👍

Depends a lot on the quality of the area, but for international hunters I guess around 1K - 4K ... no idea, as they sell packages including food and lodging, better ask to an outfitter. Spanish people typically buy season passes that include a bunch of drives.

So you don't get to keep the meat off the wild boar you shot. So does the meat go to the land owner. I enjoy watching your videos very much loved the one with the family
In monterías all is processed and you can always purchase it afterwards, but in big ones its typically complicated and its a good revenue for the organizer. He sells all the animals to a dealer that process the meat and sells it commercially. In smaller hunts in the north, where only 3 or 4 animals are hunted, we typically take the meat home between everyone, as even if I shot one wilboar, the wilboar is "owned" by the whole team that was hunting.
