My 06 G35 overheats on local road and my a/c is not on so I turn it off and wait until cool and start it up again and it went fine until it heats up again what Could cause the prob?
Hi thank you for this video, my g35 was having the same issue and did what you said , hit the fan motor and it started moving again. Is this a temperory fix and do I need to replace fans ?
My g37 just started doin this over heating at idle with AC on... i have coolant and both fans turn on.... i went ahead and changed the thermostat but im still having this problem
So I have had Infi it over heat on me like that with ac on at local idle. So when ur local or idling there’s no air flow to cool it off but ur fans work and I had same issue. The radiator in front of condenser and radiator was all blocked with dirt bugsand debris build up so u can try cleaning take off the top cover and look in between for soft stuff that can block the air flow to let u know I used water hose and spray it down to clean it all out. It’s ur call if u wanna do that. How ever u replace thermostat? Did u bleed the systym? U may have cause additional issue now Watch this video this is what I use on Nissans and infinite ua-cam.com/video/g7GDK9yaSck/v-deo.html&si=bXT6ZWbEYyxEwkiA
05 g35 just replaced engine. Started vehicle and it start getting hot both fans work, there’s no leakage, also notice 1 catalytic is turning red! Can u help
The catalytic might be blocked … if it’s getting Chet red it’s blocks. But u defiantly need to check check the over heating issue don’t blow the engine it can be lot of thing best thing is to take it to ur mechanic let him diagnose it
Recently changed the thermostat on my g35, I have the issue here with one fan not spinning the driver side one but I can spin it by hand. Can I just replace the little motor for that fan or is a new entire fan still required?
The fan is not always on it comes on as needed so check power and ground to fan if both are present it bad if not then u have to wait for it to reach the temperature to where it can come on how ever ur over heating u need to bleed the air from system if u haven’t done that
My car doesn’t overheat but when it’s hot outside and I have the ac on full blast, the compressor is really loud. Any tips? Can a bad serpentine belt cause this ?
My 08 G35 turns on both fans but they only pulse high speed for a half a second and then it goes back down to low speed when AC is on. When the AC is off, the fans will ramp up the speed nice and even flow without any issues.
Bro holy crap, so today my 2010 Infiniti G37x overheated in normal LA traffic. I just checked my fans and none turn on. Smh gonna have to take it to a mechanic.
Double check ur fans check coolant level when it’s nice and cold only open the radiator cap when it’s nice and cold. Also check to see if I have blockage in radiator find clean it blow air but they usually get deep inside need propped wash I had many Infinitis that over heated because bugs and debree from highway driving’s blocked out air flow
Hoping you may have a suggestion for this issue. I posted a video UA-cam page. Just replaced the radiator and also replaced the thermostat full unit. I'm still getting the same result on the 2005 G35 overheating. I bled the system using the bleeder valve ran the heat ran the car for 20 minutes and as you see in the video it's still bubbling over. It appears the lower return hose is still cold and the system is only heating from the supply side. HELP!! any suggestions to what I'm dealing with? Also, can the G35 run without the thermostat in place. Like the old cars use too? I live in the south.

There’s valve on the right side of engine it’s connected to the coolant lines I think they go to heatore core u can open that when filling in it should release the air
@@RBTheMechanic I know of the bleeder valve near the firewall on passenger side. Were you referring to this or another bleeder valve located on the driver's side. I bled the system as instructed on other UA-cam videos. Allowing the car to run for 20 minutes and opening the bleeder valve to allow any additional bubbles out. But, as you see in the video I was still having issues. After 5 hours of sitting I drove I drove the vehicle and the heat was coming out extremely hot and it wasn't until the vehicle was sitting idle at a light that the temperature in the vents would cool again. The engine maintained a normal running temperature the whole time. So, I'm once again confused? I just ordered a water pump, reading other people's issues somewhere pointing out the water pump as an issue. As for that special tool unless it's a loaner tool. I would only have one time use for it. But I'll look into it .
