The Watercolor Ground from Daniel Smith actually helps to "erase" mistake. Of course that is not it's purpose, the objective is to make whatever surface you are going to paint over, watercolor suitable. BUT, if you make a little mistake, you can totally apply the watercolor ground, wait for it to dry and go over it and fix your mistake. It might to not be perfect, or super advisable on a paint that is to be sold, but for personal sketchbooks and swatches is priceless! 😊
