If yours still starts and stops try holding the left right and power button on the left control pad at the same time. The system does some sort of self test, sweeps left and right a few times and then goes up and down and then works after that.

Not sure if you'll respond but mine is doing the same. Opened it up and the black wheel with the rubberband is spinning fine however the two white gears are not spinning. What can I do?
There's another sensor under the back side of the part that goes up and down looks like a little computer chip with a white plastic thing holding it in place. Under that sensor is a bigger version of the black wheel with the white squares where that belt goes on the motor. That's where my problem lied and I'm just letting anyone else know on all these videos Ive used to get to fixing my issue. Open to messages if need be... Thanks

@@taylorc3339 it will most likely need to be reset going forward but at least it works for a while.
@kmarie8518 hold all three, the button on the left, the button on the right, and the power button on left control pad.
@kmarie8518 yours might be newer where they changed the button layout. Ours was the older style with buttons on both sides of the display.

Pay Kinhs the arm linkage will either be broke or the screw will be out. There is only one reason why it wouldn’t go up and down.

Mine rocks then stops after 10 secs sometimes not even a sec only had it for 2 months. Brand new
Did you try securing the wires as shown in the video? Does it show an obstruction error or just turn off
