It reminds me of work I did as a young artist in L.A. in the 1970s-80s. I did carved glass murals, using Sandblasting, of course working from the reverse, and like you I did a great
deal Freehand. The Scale and subject similar to yours . . . I also did interesting ceramic work,
and was working on a large, flat Kiln, 5' x 9', and about 4" deep . . . I believe probably most of
the work I produced for clients no longer exists . . . but that may be part of the beauty !
