Now that's what i like to hear while watching master duel matches unlike others who use very loud and annoying music, keep going!! Vanquish soul deck is my favorite its also my first deck that i built
You are making me want to actually learn the small world plays. I really liked how you searched for d.d. crow then summoned razen, searched fire, and made his 2nd effect active in a weird board state
Picked up VS because of this video, like 2 weeks ago! Currently (peak) in D4! This is deck is super fun to play with!! A lot of your plays happened to me too and literally saved my ass🤣
decent card but i dont think its good enough currently. its just that you never want to draw the vs spell/traps because you can easily search them and i just cant justify playing dust devil additionally to snow devil and continue
pretty much any playable deck can reach m1, especially to the end of a month. its mainly a matter of how well you play the deck, how much time you spend to grind and when do you grind (the earlier of a season you play the harder it is) and if the deck is any good. i reached master1 with decks like ancient warriors, so VS shouldnt be a problem for most people. also i wouldnt play the exact list that i was running in this video due to changes in the meta. just pick any recent m1 deck off masterduelmeta and you should be good
no, both decks want their own normal summon. also snake eyes profits a lot of the diabellstar engine which you would need to play alongside. that would basically turn your vs cards into bricks because you would always want to play your snake eyes cards first. if you want to mix vs with another archetype rather go with kashtira since those dont take up your normal summon
If you want to add more spice into VS, try revolution syncron and extradecking some powertool monsters. including stuff which pops entire fields when syncro summoning.
@@amigontsanother quick question. Why are you running droll? I feel as tho snake eyes can easily play around droll. Wouldnt you want effect veilers there instead
@@xodiac-gg7049 ive faced a lot super heavy samurai and infernoble decks. im still playing 2 droll but i did also add 3 veilers and 3 imperms (18 handtraps). my list changes daily depending on the decks im facing. also droll is a good handtrap against snakeeyes but it alone isnt enough. however thats the case for all handtraps except for maybe shifter
yes, you pretty much can make any deck that has a secret pack. its a bit harder for decks like vanquish soul but still doable with all the gems of a new acc. also use the "free secret pack" trick where you craft sr cards that unlock 2-3 packs at once so you pretty much exchange your sr dust for possible ur and sr dust
i did adjust my deck a bit by adding effect veilers and retaliating c instead of nibiru and droll. in the spots where other people play board breakers or other interruptions like kurikara, dust devil etc. i play handtraps theres no difference in bricking on board breakers or handtraps besides the fact that even 5 handtraps in hand are useful, while board breakers arent. to stop snake eyes you need atleast 2 handtraps (or 1 shifter) which is why i play so many. also if you play small world your consistency should be pretty decent
lab is definitely a tough deck to face where you have to play optimally to win. vs can play a lot of handtraps that can win you the game like shifter, ash, belle, crow. also zeus and the black luster soldier link are strong cards against lab. generally, since vs has a lot of quickeffects, you should always keep a few to chainblock lady from setting a trap. as long as you have razen, you should be able to get into the grind game and at that point it might be worth to try winning the game with borger burn
@@amigonts I feel like running so many hand traps results in a lot more bricking. I've made it to Plat 2 so far without Droll,Nib or Ghost Belle. Does Small World and Desires really help with increasing consistency? I seem to brick every 2/3 games. (I also lose coin toss and go second every 4/5 games, really bad luck). Appreciate the advice :)
as long as you dont face combo decks you dont need droll, also belle can be replaced with d.d. crow. the deck is very bricky which is why you want as many consistency cards as possible. small world is the best one, however also has the harshest cost. running a lot handtraps is not a problem. the ability to run that many is what makes this deck so strong
i do, but mostly in the tcg. once the droll meta ends i might try to climb to master1 with floo again. but currently its very unenjoyable to do so with floo, sadly.

Whats your opinion on the kash engine(fenrir and riseheart). Do you think pure vanquish is better or is running the kash engine worth?

only as long as you dont draw the brick, you are fine.
