So if I have the right mindset I can do it but my blackbox AI thingy on my desk how do I test that for ethics? I don't think I learned anything here about AI ethics n more about how to hope not to build anything into it myself directly. How does that help my future lawnmower not to skip time by destroying my lawn for good by unleashing some learned calamity?
Maybe it could use some binding to an LLM to have a reflective discussion about an action to be done first to see if it can work? Like "Should I mow there knowing a cat is in the way?"
A kind of pondering AI that philosophizes within its OODA-loop... utilizing the common sense encoded within a LLM maybe with a do-no-evil-prompt.

Well.. currently it's a blackbox but there's another AI called "explainable AI" which houses the capacity to understand what your model is evaluating and why it gives a specific answer. Basically making the blackbox less black.

just read the IBM Principles of "Trust and Transparency". Unfortunately this does not seem to be a philosophical argument at all, but more a marketing presentation of "appeasement". To (1): minMaxing intelligence is not a normative value; (2) is the "creator" a human originator or a company / client?; (3) explainability in deep learning networks?!? - This remains an important topic, we just scratched the surface.

Company often saya "we don't sell your data to advertiser."
What if the company itself is an advertiser?

It’s obvious where you’re getting with your thoughts but that’s not the biggest problem; the problem is about companies lying about not selling data and doing the opposite
