Great video, I keep hoping you decide to make a foxbody cage, maybe subframes and torque boxes too, they’d be amazing and I’d be your first customer. There’s a lot of options out there but the quality and attention to detail you guys have is a step up. I can’t even get a chassis shop to call me back, never mind work on my car. So please…make me some stuff.
This cage is 1050 shipped on our website. The swing outs are around $150 each door. We don't really have a set price only any job has each customer wants something a little bit different so it ends up being a little bit different every time
Certification is good for 3 years then just has to be re-certed. If rules change for the cage in that timeframe then the cage has to be updated to meet new rule set. Add bars or whatever has changed about the requirements.
LOL why would you weld roll bars to the drive shaft tunnel??? Are you trying to hold the tunnel up?? Those bars are supposed to go thru the floor and welded to the cars subframe or sub frame connectors. And Yes i have installed roll bars and yes i do tech at a local track.
All depends on the cert. being as you work at a track, you should know this…A 6 pt cage has no ties to the tunnel, so not sure what you’re referring too. You only put holes in the floor to drop it down and weld the top half of the cage.
They can be welded to the tunnel for 10.0 cert. 7.50-9.99 needs to be on the subframe connectors, I would really think a local track tech would know this. Maybe you shouldnt be doing tech if you don’t even understand stuff this simple.
The seat was in the car I took it out. It is supposed to pass between the elbow and shoulder but the seat sets a good bit forward of the main hoop. Our cages are within the rules
😂 those 14 point cages from Rhodes race are mild steel and heavy as hell and they fit like shit…. Ask me how I know ….. chromoly is a way better product and worth the money
One hand always washes the other. Nothing wrong in trade offs. Will be another awesome blog Steven.👍🆒💯 Aussie Fan 👋🇦🇺

Great info even though I don't have a camaro still has a lot if things I can apply to me installing my own cage!
How much would you charge to install without swing out bars just regular. $1,000.+?????
Love the content. Bought a welder, now I need to learn how to use it... and buy a car.
How much would it be to bring my car up there to do the 8.50 cert cage and front kit 2001 camaro ?
Great content! Did you lay the main hoop back a few degrees?
Yes forgot to mention. It's between 5 and 6 degrees
I wanna see how the carpet was installed
Been a long time but I was wondering if you remember what paint you used for the bar?
I’ve been trying to get in touch with you guys on a 6th gen cage/front end. Shooting for a new record. Help me make it happen…
wish you would give/post prices in your videos on cage /tubular front end jobs......etc

@@rocksolidmotorsports7297 so all this stuff about chromoly getting brittle and having to be completely redone is not true ?

Nice video Steven.. is that a second Amendment sticking out of your waste band? 👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
Okay I saw that too 👌
The door bars look to high? Supposed to be between the elbow and shoulder looks above the shoulder.
Seat should be in place to get proper angle

@@rocksolidmotorsports7297 ah it just looks. So high. Driver must be a little guy. Lol.
Love the channel and your work. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Will this work on a 3rd gen camaro
No sir. Third Gen stuff coming soon
Is there a certain ET this cage covers?
10.00 second and slower
$1,300.00 for a cage like that is an ABSOLUTE RIP OFF. A guy can get a 14 point for $650.00 from Summit.
Can also buy jack stands from harbor freight
