About me:
I'm a brand new Class 1 driver that actually like driving trucks and being on the road. As you noticed i got a "strong" South African accent but been living in the UK for more than 16 years. The reason why I make these videos, I was once in your shoes where UA-cam was my wealth of HGV knowledge and I would like to contribute.

Ah the mortar game . Did a spell on that with ebs quite a few years ago . Loaded out of stanway , popped many a sock haha . 1 bar pressure was hard to keep low sometimes especially when your used to 2 bar on cemex plant sites . Good job if you like being away all week and earn the dollar . Gary , craig , lester n greg all a good laugh . Is slav n mick still there ? Left in 2016 n went on petrol ,now on gas tankers . Have fun 👍
Im probably wrong, but it seems like cabs are actually getting smaller instead of bigger... and they expect someone to spend a working week inside it ...
This model of truck, trailer, and blower are a lot quiter than the American models.
Why do you do that annoying truck driver thing where you drive straight onto every site when you don't have a clue where you're going or if they are ready for you? Do you not have a pair of legs? It's the courteous thing to do to park up outside then go see the site foreman with your notes, who will tell you if there's space for you and if so, where to go. As a brick and block driver myself there is nothing more annoying than having another truck come in on site, just as I'm finished up and about to leave, but now can't because some nob has driven in and is now blocking the only exit. And just because you can't see another truck and the area looks good to drive straight doesn't mean it's OK to do so.
My dad is meant to be working for ebs in September
It looks not a bad job mate.

I used to work for Gary at EBS, when it was Formerly "Child's Commercials" many years ago based in Grays, Essex. It was a great job. I had a blue Scania Topline manual. Absolute beauty. Pulled tanks for Schmidt Helbron. I have fond memories of both the drivers and the staff in the office such as Gary and his Family.
Breaking site rules reversing without a banksman on the first site you when to. But you didn't damage your flaps....lol
Like the new style your going with 👍
