i have a personal friend that is a swat commander. Although he is still active, he has said to me some of the very same things that you mentioned. He tells me often that he has to remain grounded because it's so easy to enter into a mentality that sees everyone as the bad guy and operate out of anger instead of within the confines of the law. Agreed.. it's hard. It's time to get out and find something else when you start thinking that way. I'm glad I did but I still put 5 years in
