This is the new series on Gizaudio that I never knew I needed. Thx Dave for introducing me to the world of portable DAC/AMP. I have really been enjoying these videos.
I love how they’ve added all 3 outputs on this thing. I’ve been waiting for this review tbh - I knew Dave would bring the heat. Anything source related, Dave’s been my #1 go to for the past 6 months. Keep it up, brother. Ps. Timmy is a weeb.
Thanks for your reviews Dave. I think there are two of you doing reviews for Gizaudio. That confused me for a while. You are the calm mature presenter and the other one is the younger more animated presenter. Glad I got that settled. Thought I was a bit crazy there for a bit. Both of you's create good reviews and content.
Nice review. I had to choose between this and the btr15 a couple of weeks ago. Went for the btr15 and so far I really like it. Using monarch mk3s i notice very very little difference between the dongle and a desktop stack like a topping a70pro+d70prosabre
@@SugarcubeAnt i haven't tested a full charge. Will report back. However, it's a tiny device with a tiny battery that offers quite a decent amount of output power, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were true while using 4.4mm and LDAC.
It's been a while and I consistently get 6+ hours on the btr15 using ldac 96k. I think it's ok battery life but I could surely use a couple more hours.
Thanks David great to see you review this, looking forward to the BTR15 and a comparison. It looked great and a tough challenge to follow from M31 & 2. How did you find the staging and any did it suit a certain type of tuned iem. Even thou quite natural. I actually picked one up in BF for £90, for the battery, convenience and 🤞 good sound. Not arrived yet, but thanks for this review only a couple out there, which this as always covers good amount of details, and use-ability. Thanks looking forward to referencing you review once it arrives 👍
It would be interesting to see how this compares to the phenomenal Qudelix 5K. The output on Qudelix isn't powerful enough for higher impedance or planar headphones and the other downside is it's battery capacity and the cheap buttons and its placement. Other than that it's a fantastic device in terms of size, built and EQ options. The M4 could be a good replacement I hope.
just wondering which you would recommend muse hifi m4 - fiio btr15 - qudelix 5k choosing between this 3 i have es100 first version and im looking to upgrade it as it is really old will be using it on s12 pro
Finally, I've been waiting for someone to review this (and the Fiio BTR15 you mentioned.) My ES100 battery is dying and before I grab my soldering iron, I wanted a back up device. I've been looking for something with a larger battery and more power for awhile. I like that all three jack sizes are included, which means I don't have to cable swap. I don't know why Muse doesn't have an optional case (I would really love one with a clip) or come with a usb c to c cable, with the type a adapter like so many other companies include.
Be nice if they made them with replaceable batteries though, it should be illegal to keep making these planned-obsolescence devices that just become useless after their batteries die.
Thanks for the great review as usual Dave. 🙂 I do see the seeaudio Hakuya peeking 👀 How does it sound Dave ? I am really curious about its design, looks so cool.
Hi, please, does it work for 2 headphones in the same time? let's say that you connect an IEM in the 3.5 and another in the 2.5, will it play on both together? I'm asking because I've a use case of watching moves with my GF in bed late at night, thanks!
The newest MUSEHiFi M5 Ultra is a whole fkn other level! It has the latest and most amazing tech and features and it is the world's first to ever have Tubes inside! What? 🤯
Nice video! New sub from me. May I ask a dumb question... Are there any dongle dacs such as this that would work with an in-line mic on a set of iems? I'm pretty sure the Apple dongle dac does and would be fine.. but it would be fun to dip my toes into these more capable dongles while still being able to utilize a mic every now and then with out un plugging etc.
@@fuzailkhanazmi2135 It sounds nice and looks nice but I wish there was EQ and a way to lock the buttons since there is no little clip or lanyard hole to keep it out of your pocket. Extremely annoying how it doesn't charge with normal cell phone fast chargers you have to plug it into a USB port or one of those old slow USB chargers.

Thanks Dave for this review, it's a nice looking unit.

Me too. Although I haven't received my BTR15 yet. I have some geek wold gk200, I hope I can make them sound very good.
Nice! Yeah, I'm hoping to get my hands on one for review soon. Thanks for checking out the video!
Do you have any battery issue with the BTR15? Some reviews said the battery only last for about 2 hours

How do you like it vs BTR7?

Does the MUSE HIFI M4 support pass through power to the phone (when pluged into USB C power)?
Hope you'll review the Quloos MUB1!
That brand name is so funny for spanish speaking people xD
tell me more!

thanks, do you think it will open Letshouer s12 pro?

Agree about the case for sure. Thanks for watching!

Tengo el fiio Q3 Mqa y se puede desarmar para cambiar la batería y solucionar cualquier otro problema.
Home well prepared for Christmas 😊
Thanks for the great review as usual Dave. 🙂

Love your reviews more than any other out there! Quick question: that IEM with the stripes and the incredible looking cable....wao! What's that!????
Seeaudio's flagship TOTL Hakuya, not yet released.

Oh lordy, this thing is the size of an old-time feature phone, I may have to say "pass" just because of that.
