When i was younger, like 11 (when i first read the HP books) I always thought of myself as a girl from Gryffindor, but then Pottermore sorted me to Slytherin, and basically my life is a lie, too. I'm a bit embarrassed, actually, that I'm a Slytherin... Like, everyone seems so happy and pride of their houses... Why aren't I?
Godric Gryffindor ive been told by multiple things im a Slytherin which i was sort of proud of i guess and then Pottermore said i was a Gryffindor. Im proud yes but i still love Slytherin as much as i love Gryffindor :P
Don't let anything or anyone tell you what your are. As Dumbledore says, "It is our choices that show us who we truly are, far more than our abilities." So you can choose to be another house, just like Harry did. It's all in you. :)
I like how a lot of your stuff is worth so much because most of it is signed by famous people. You just casually know/met/get signatures from really cool people.
Your walls are awesome REGARDLESS of house orientation. Your Sorting Hat poster is really cool as well. :o And your painting! Your room is full of magical items!

If you paint your room Ravenclaw colors, which would you choose? You have two color schemes to choose from which is convenient. lol. If you don't like blue and bronze you could go with blue and silver. haha

why is everyone just accepting what that Pottermore website or any other source tells you the House you're in??? you're missing the whole point of the Harry Potter books if you just accept what total strangers decide for you. THIS IS ABOUT CHOICE! *everyone* thought harry potter was going to end up in Slytherin, even the official source |(the Sorting Hat) said he could be in Slytherin. but Harry Potter basically said ''i dont care, want to be in gryffindor'' and the sorting hat accepted HIS decision. NOT the other way round. it doesnt matter if pottermore thinks you should end up in Slytherin or Ravenclaw. if YOU want to be in your chosen House, then congratulations, you already are! your life isn't a lie, you are still a gryffindor for as long as YOU want to. this is about choice. YOUR choice. not the sorting hat's, not pottermore's, YOUR desicion.
