Hey everyone. This is one of the last videos I have that I can upload until I can get back on my feet. Right now, I'm currently not at my home/business, and all my stuff is there, and I can't get it. So I'm literally having to gather old videos from my phone because I can't get my stuff, including clothes cameras, etc. I'm still working just from my Dad's place and until everything gets resolved I'll be focusing on being thankful for the 1 outfit I do have and the fact that I was able to get my towtruck from my property so I can still work. I usually don’t have help either and I like to put the cable in between 2 pieces of wood on the edge of the bed and strap the wood down. It’ll put tension on the line for you.

Our new trucks pretty much all come with 50 or 75 feet of cable, We put 100 foot on all of them, Mine with rope has 150 foot on the sidepuller and 100 foot on the bed.

I've never used a side puller. I bet they come in handy.

@@darronmalonetowingchannel I'd argue my 9,000 pound sidepuller on my 20,000 pound kenworth rollback is more effective as side pulling than my 26,000 pound 25 ton wrecker is. I've pulled quick heavy with my sidepuller and it definitely helps tackle more dynamic recoveries where you want or need to control multiple things at once.
Makes maintenance a breeze as with the sidepuller and bed I can raise all 4 wheels off the ground, and makes recovery work very easy while loaded, no longer a need to run the cable under the loaded car and to a snatch block to make it work. If possible I'll never spec my own truck without one again as its just far too convenient and versatile to not have for recovery work in a rollback.

I know I'll be equipping all my trucks with side pullers hearing this. I have seen Ron Pratt using a homemade side puller, and he made it seem like a lot of unnecessary work. Then after reading about your experiences i remembered that Ole Ron is always doing a bunch of unnecessary work 🤣😂 jk

@@darronmalonetowingchannel They are definitely nice and very versatile and convenient, just pricey. My 2021 kenworth with a century lcg 12 and a 9k in the ditch sidepuller was 153,000.
