@@UltimateCrusherJoe For real. As cool as they are, I think some of them are a little too powerful to actually fit the deck. The idea of having a spefic fusion monster different for all the main deck monsters seem so fitting!
Weather Painters are my favorite archetype and I’m sad that Konami doesn’t give them for support. They could easily be a super cool fusion deck with stuff like: -Rain + Snow = Hail -Rain + Thunder = Flash Flood -Cloud + Sun = Heatwave -Cloud + Snow = Frost\Fog -Cloud + Rain = Tsunami And way more. But if we get red painter then it’s alright.
@@kellocouncil4121 I think it would be better if it was a cont trap that would do it as it would give them another way to activate their recursion effects.
Name:The Weather Painter Solar Flare Attribute:Fire Phenomenon:Solar Flare Artistic Weapon:Spray Can P.S. It represends a rebel,a furious one,as the phenomenon he represents,a solar flare is very hot and can even shut down satelites.
There's already a card that represents fire and the sun. So far there's only one attribute that's not being represented within this archetype. Divine. Now think. Which current monster both represents the missing attribute and the missing color AND just so happens to be a being associated with the sky?
This is definitely one of my favorite videos of yours (If not THE favorite of all), the dedication you put to every one of them makes them really special and pleasant to watch =)
There is a weather condition is when the sky becomes red. I'm sure you heard the phrase: Red sky in the morning sailor takes warning and red sky at night sailor's delight.
Credits to Bradley Boy for the name The Weather Painter Heatwave Level: 3 Attack: 1400 Def: 600 Effect: Once per turn you can send this card from your hand or field to the graveyard, decrease the attack points of your opponent’s monsters by 200 points for each Weather card you control. Name : The Weather Painter Haze Attribute : Fire Phenomenon : Heat Haze Artistic Weapon : Digital Pen and Drawing Pad Being the new kid around that doesn't follow the others' more traditional style, the reason I chose heat haze was mostly because it's the one "left out", as a bonus, Heat Hazes forms on the ground instead of the sky
Name: (OCG) Lunar Eclipse Weather - Luna, (TCG) The Weather Painter Eclipse Attribute: DARK Phenomenon: Blood Moon (OCG: Ecliptic Weather Condition, TCG: The Weather Ecliptic Canvas) Artistic Weapon: Acrylic Paintbrush (since Sun uses the brush to draw the sun, so why not that paintbrush can also be the same for the eclipse) / Spray Paint
@@zimonzieclown1633 well, Sam mentioned that the village is blessed (Aurora is rare to be seen), so why not mentioning another rare weather-ish nature condition which is blood moon. Besides, that trap card (The Weather Rainbowy Canvas) events might occur during the day - which is why the Red Weather Painter is not there.
@@amirizam how about these? Weather painter thunder snow Attribute: water Phenomena: thunder snow Artistic tool: adjustable spray nozzle. Thunder snow is a rare phenomenon that happens at the great lakes and flat plains. The wind picks up the snow forming a snow storm which also causes tons of static electricity to build up creating lightning within the snow storm. It is like if someone decided to combine a blizzard with a thunder storm, just that the lightning occurs within the blizzard. Weather painter Sprite Attribute: light Phenomena: red sprites Artistic tool: a chisel. Red sprites are extraterrestrial lightning that occurs high above the clouds of extremely powerful storms. This could lead to red being really shy and distant, only showing up when thunder makes a racket.
Honestly I think aurora would’ve been way better if her on summon effect occurred from special summoning too, would give more reason to use her for her effect not just her back row protection
The Weather Painter Sun: How do you get that wet look in your hair? The Weather Painter Rain: Oh, I use 'essence of England’ gel. t.w.p.s: What’s that? t.w.p.r: IT’S THE FUCKING RAIN!!!!
This is a stretch but... The Weather Painter *Wildfire* Fire Wildfire Abtract/doesnt use a brush Or Weather Painter Solar Flare Fire Solar Flare Pastels
I want a yugioh series that takes place in that town now, with the protagonist using the Weather cards. As for what red could be, I can think of a handful, sandstorm, heatwave (though it doesn't have a visual to let you know, it just gets really hot), fire pillars (I forget the name, the thing that the move Flame Wheel from pokémon is based on) though that's not really a sky-based condition. On a different note, I would love to see an archetype that's split in two, One side being Extra deck and based on disasters (like tornadoes, sandstorms, stuff like that), and the other being main deck that are based on either doom-sayers or rain dancers (the people who dance to call rain, I don't know their proper name), I don't know how they would play, but they'd be interesting.
Oh I love Red it's the colour of an apple, Orange, it's the colour of an orange, Yellow, it's for lemon and a wonderful sun,sun,sun... Green, it's for colour of trees and lots of things that grows. And then there's Blue for the sky, And purple that's a color that's fun, fun, fun, When you put these colors side by side, What do you think you've done, You've made a rainbow, and it's a really beautiful one!
I really like the idea of the red dude using a spray can, and maybe his weather theme can be wind, I know that doesn't make too much sense but I like the idea of him making tornados with his paint can
The Weather Painter Dawn (RED color. Chalk Implement. Pair of twins, one Sleepy male, one Exhausted female.) (OCG: Alizarin) LIGHT - Fairy Level 6 ATK 2000 DEF 2400 You can activate “The Weather” Traps the turn you set them. When this card is removed from the field by a “The Weather” effect: Special Summon 1 “The Weather Painter Dusk Token” (Fairy/DARK/Level 3/ATK 1000/DEF 1200) but destroy it during the End Phase, and cannot be tributed or used for material to summon a monster, except for a “The Weather” monster. You can only use this effect of “The Weather Painter Dawn” once per turn. Once per turn, during the Standby Phase of the turn after this card was banished from the field to activate a “The Weather” card’s effect: You can Special Summon this banished card. The Weather Twilight Canvas (Both Dawn and Dusk looking energetic and excited to do their job, rubbing the side of the chalk on the Horizon in opposite directions, making it a red streak, with the middle split down, one side with the sun rising, and the other setting) Continuous Trap “The Weather“ Effect Monsters in your Monster Zones of this card’s column and its adjacent columns gain this effect. • You can banish this card (Quick Effect): Return up to 6 “The Weather” cards that are banished or in your GY to the deck, then draw 1 card for every 3 cards returned this way, then, if any cards you drew this way were a “The Weather” card, you can either Special Summon it if it is a Monster, or place it face-up in the Spell/Trap Zone if a Continuous Spell/Trap, also you cannot draw cards by a “The Weather” Monster effect for the rest of this turn. You can only control 1 “The Weather Twilight Canvas“.
3 things. 1. They need to make more support for this archetype. 2. They need fusion, synchro, and xyz monster (leaving rainbow the only link monster). And 3. For the new canvas cards have the mountain village be in them. Please and thank you.
5 Years later: Still no Red Painter 😢 Hey at least we got Moonbow, the field spell, and Rainbowed Canvas. It's actually almost viable already. If we actually got a good Red Painter the deck could be meta for sure.
I LOVE WEATHER PAINTERS I HAVE A DECK OF THEM TOO😄 ______________________________ 8th weather painter prediction: Weather Painter Sunset Weather painter weapon: Marker Canvas: The Weather Sunseting Canvas Effect: You can banish this card and if you do, add 1 the weather spell and Trap from you deck to hand. Name : The Weather Painter Drought Attribute : DARK Level : 3 ATK/DEF : 1800/ 100 Weather : Drought Artistic Tool : Chalk Reasoning for tool : Areas with droughts usually are very dusty and cracked, both dustyness and cracking are common in chalk Support Card : The Weather Dry Canvas Appearance : A Youngish looking character, dust is clouding the whole card art, the painter is holding a piece of red chalk in one hand, a little bucket of reddish hue chalk in the other. He is wearing goggles, the steampunk-sciency kind. Canvas artwork : He is drawing his drought near the edge of the small down, with an upset face, as the rest of the weather painters seem not to want him near to ruin their town
If you look at the top right of Rainbowy Canvas is a color distortion to grey instead of dark blue, so that's probably both Red & a heatwave, due to heat waves refracting light & distorting images & allowing red to hide amongst the other cards, despite not being designed yet. He would use Pastel as it's the least detailed & most blurry artistic utinzel
For red you could have heatwaves maybe. I like the idea of maybe using woodburning or metal working as the art style to have it stand out, but even something like spraypaint (cause we all know someone who's used it as a flamethrower) would be pretty neat.
The Weather Painter Drought Drue (I like how the Japanese gave them names. It’s dumb they took away the names. Type: Fire Weather Phenomenon: Drought Level: 6 Male. Color: Red Artistic Weapon: Eraser For those wandering, an Eraser can be an artistic tool. Ever just made a canvas a splotch of color. And than just erased the splotch, lol. And to make a drought, requires intense heat and Sun rays, and no other type of weather can be near it. Lol. Hence, Drought has erased all other weathers from the scene.
Yeah like the idea but how about instead of destroying monsters on the field it forces monsters on your opponents field to go into face down defenses possession and you can banish other weather painters on your field to give it an effect similar to ultimate conductor tyranno
Trevin Tidmarsh Oh my ! Everyone thought the little note I wrote at the end was the card’s effect?! Oh gosh! I was just listing my thoughts on why I came to the conclusion of making the card!!
It’s ok just thought that the route you were going for with the eraser idea could use an effect that was centered around its weapon and it’s weather theam
Whether painter aurora's staff is probably reference to an atom. As the center part of the staff includes 2 plus and 1 minus balls. A proton in atoms' nucleus is comprised of 2 positively charged quarks and 1 negatively charged quark, giving it an overall postive charge. There is also a minus ball hanging from a loose string that is attached to the "proton", which is a reference to a negatively charged particle electron which orbit the atom nucleus. So the staff depicts the most common atom, hydrogen. Auroras are born when energy from charged particles from the Sun excite electrons in atoms, aka move them to a higher orbit or energy level. Then, when the electron returns to its lower more stable energy level, the extra energy excapes the atom as a light particle which wavelenght depends on the amount of energy released. Different atoms emit different wavelenghts of light Also, the most common aurora color seen is green which is emitted by oxygen atoms in the atmosphere which is why the aurora whether painter is green.
Here comes a curveball. Name: Weather Painter Mirage Attribute: Fire Weather Phenomenon: Mirage (Technically not a weather phenomenon but i like it) Artist Tool: Chalk
the red should be like an extra deck card like a synchro or fusion requiring W. Painter Sun as a material using different brushes for painting (like the brushes are just floating around him) different events of the sun like a spell card for Dawn, Noon, and Sunset and trap cards for Lunar and Solar Eclipse
Or other complex colors like brown or another version of the color would be nice, since it would make sense. Fusion red and yellow to form another orange
They are amazing, The art is stunning same with the Aroma monsters. The Red one could either use Pastels or pencils since thunder was using a crayon. The weather phenomenon I can think of is a Sunset/Sunrise maybe or lightning. A video suggestion would be cards with the best card art and Rainbow is one of the cards there.
The Weather Painter Light Pillar Fire Attribute Uses Colored Pencils in red, orange, purple, and indigo Young adult black/African male with short black dreadlocks with a dyed red lock being the longer one and an exposed torso wearing bow and quiver(containing his colored pencils) around his chest as well as having a red pencil sharpener being worn around his neck and wearing baggy brown and red coveralls with the top part of said coveralls being tied around his waist. His support is Light Pillar Canvas which has him pulling his bow back, just about to release his colored pencils,
I would say “weather artist- fire storm” give him different colored charcoal pencils. Or replace the sunlight with “weather artist- sand storm” and give him sand pots like are used in sand art in the desert, and make him red, or orange. It could go either way I suppose, as sand can be red or orange depending on where you are.
At 19:26 if you look closely at Rainbows canvas trap card, and I mean the left corner especially, there is 7th person there, or not? She's not red though…

This archetype is meant to represent the 7 colors of the rainbow but also represents 6 of the 7 attributes. Currently the only attribute missing is Divine. The only color missing is Red. I wonder which monster is both red and divine and is associated with the SKY?
I just learned of these cards. Arciel is absolutely gorgeous! 🌈 Thanks for all the details. I love these archetype videos. I’m trying to build a weather painter deck in the Master Duel app. (Which oddly doesn’t appear to have their field spell…) Anyway, I’m having a little trouble with the strategy, especially wanting to have the entire deck as loyal to the archetype as possible.
I know I’m a bit late, I’ve recently fallen in love with the weather painters so I ended up here. I think the most realistic Weather Painter to represent the colour red would probably have to be Draught despite it not sounding quite as cool as heatburst or solar flare

Cool card ideas, if we got half this support the deck would definitely be meta.
@@UltimateCrusherJoe For real. As cool as they are, I think some of them are a little too powerful to actually fit the deck. The idea of having a spefic fusion monster different for all the main deck monsters seem so fitting!
The Weather Painter Blizzard
Weather painter snow + Weather painter cloud
Field spell should be based around the little village
I’m now in love the artwork of the “The Weather archetype”. I hadn’t heard of this archetype before, but now I must go on a card hunt to get them🤩🤩
Buy the individual cards. Trust me.

This archetipe gives me katekyo hitman reborn vibes mixed with splatoon vibes and i love it
Weather Painters are my favorite archetype and I’m sad that Konami doesn’t give them for support. They could easily be a super cool fusion deck with stuff like:
-Rain + Snow = Hail
-Rain + Thunder = Flash Flood
-Cloud + Sun = Heatwave
-Cloud + Snow = Frost\Fog
-Cloud + Rain = Tsunami
And way more. But if we get red painter then it’s alright.
I love this idea especially if its like contact fusion and we don't need polymerization
@@kellocouncil4121 I think it would be better if it was a cont trap that would do it as it would give them another way to activate their recursion effects.
Name:The Weather Painter Solar Flare
Attribute:Fire
Phenomenon:Solar Flare
Artistic Weapon:Spray Can
P.S. It represends a rebel,a furious one,as the phenomenon he represents,a solar flare is very hot and can even shut down satelites.
Awesome idea, is there any way you could submit your idea to the makers?
There's already a card that represents fire and the sun. So far there's only one attribute that's not being represented within this archetype.
Divine.
Now think. Which current monster both represents the missing attribute and the missing color AND just so happens to be a being associated with the sky?
This is definitely one of my favorite videos of yours (If not THE favorite of all), the dedication you put to every one of them makes them really special and pleasant to watch =)
There is a weather condition is when the sky becomes red. I'm sure you heard the phrase: Red sky in the morning sailor takes warning and red sky at night sailor's delight.

Rainbow is like the mom and Aurora is like her boozy, middle aged, never married, three cat owning, sister who comes over to help watch the kids.
I always pictured aurora and sun as the parents. The other main decks as the kids and rainbow as either the aunt or the giver of there power's.
Easiest way to remember the colours of the rainbow is the acronym ROY-G-BIV which stands for Red, Orange, Yellow - Green - Blue, Indigo, Violet
The weather painter Dawn

Weather related event: morning dawn
Weapon: colored pencils
Name : The Weather Painter Haze
Attribute : Fire
Phenomenon : Heat Haze

Being the new kid around that doesn't follow the others' more traditional style, the reason I chose heat haze was mostly because it's the one "left out", as a bonus, Heat Hazes forms on the ground instead of the sky

Oh, I like this one.

Weather painter thunder snow
Attribute: water
Phenomena: thunder snow
Artistic tool: adjustable spray nozzle.
Weather painter Sprite
Attribute: light
Phenomena: red sprites
Artistic tool: a chisel.
Red sprites are extraterrestrial lightning that occurs high above the clouds of extremely powerful storms. This could lead to red being really shy and distant, only showing up when thunder makes a racket.
TGS I think this was my favorite and most beautiful of all the archetypes
Honestly I think aurora would’ve been way better if her on summon effect occurred from special summoning too, would give more reason to use her for her effect not just her back row protection
All the best in reaching 100k Sub!! More YugiOh Trivia in the future I hope, especially the new archetypes in the game!

This is a stretch but...
The Weather Painter *Wildfire*

Wildfire
Abtract/doesnt use a brush
Or Weather Painter Solar Flare
Fire
Solar Flare
Pastels
Jones The weather painter heat wave.
I’ve never heard of these guys but let’s get Danger! Up in here
They're a bunch of monsters based on mythical creatures like the Lockness Monster or the Tsukinoko
Gamer Bro I meant I never heard of the weather painters before. But thanks
@@lloydchristian936 oh, well I'm an idiot
Oh I love Red it's the colour of an apple,
Orange, it's the colour of an orange,
Yellow, it's for lemon and a wonderful sun,sun,sun...
Green, it's for colour of trees and lots of things that grows.
And then there's Blue for the sky,
And purple that's a color that's fun, fun,fun,
When you put these colors side by side,
What do you think you've done,
You've made a rainbow, and it's a really beautiful one!
What I came for: YuGiOh class
What I got: YuGiOh class with science class included.
I got more than I expected and I'm not complaining.
I really like the idea of the red dude using a spray can, and maybe his weather theme can be wind, I know that doesn't make too much sense but I like the idea of him making tornados with his paint can

Name : The Weather Painter Drought
Attribute : DARK
Level : 3
ATK/DEF : 1800/ 100
Weather : Drought
Artistic Tool : Chalk
Reasoning for tool : Areas with droughts usually are very dusty and cracked, both dustyness and cracking are common in chalk
Support Card : The Weather Dry Canvas
Appearance : A Youngish looking character, dust is clouding the whole card art, the painter is holding a piece of red chalk in one hand, a little bucket of reddish hue chalk in the other. He is wearing goggles, the steampunk-sciency kind.
Canvas artwork : He is drawing his drought near the edge of the small down, with an upset face, as the rest of the weather painters seem not to want him near to ruin their town
As far as rainbow-themed, column-based decks go, I’ll take Mekk-Knights any day
Nice pegasus voice for snow
If you look at the top right of Rainbowy Canvas is a color distortion to grey instead of dark blue, so that's probably both Red & a heatwave, due to heat waves refracting light & distorting images & allowing red to hide amongst the other cards, despite not being designed yet. He would use Pastel as it's the least detailed & most blurry artistic utinzel
“What a place to live”
Calling it now it’s Santa
For red you could have heatwaves maybe. I like the idea of maybe using woodburning or metal working as the art style to have it stand out, but even something like spraypaint (cause we all know someone who's used it as a flamethrower) would be pretty neat.

Hence, Drought has erased all other weathers from the scene.

Hmmm... they could even make a nuke trap for the Weathery. I'd rather it spins cards instead of destroying, though.!
Yeah like the idea but how about instead of destroying monsters on the field it forces monsters on your opponents field to go into face down defenses possession and you can banish other weather painters on your field to give it an effect similar to ultimate conductor tyranno

Different atoms emit different wavelenghts of light
Also, the most common aurora color seen is green which is emitted by oxygen atoms in the atmosphere which is why the aurora whether painter is green.
Here comes a curveball.

the red should be like an extra deck card like a synchro or fusion requiring W. Painter Sun as a material
using different brushes for painting (like the brushes are just floating around him) different events of the sun

and trap cards for Lunar and Solar Eclipse
Or other complex colors like brown or another version of the color would be nice, since it would make sense. Fusion red and yellow to form another orange
What about a supernova
They are amazing, The art is stunning same with the Aroma monsters. The Red one could either use Pastels or pencils since thunder was using a crayon. The weather phenomenon I can think of is a Sunset/Sunrise maybe or lightning.
A video suggestion would be cards with the best card art and Rainbow is one of the cards there.

If they were to do red I could imagine something like a blood moon or a sea funominum and it could paint with his hands
