Hey Andrew, Could You please review the Philips Fidelio FB1 soundbar? I'm considering it, I've read some very good reviews on that bar but no videos, I love and enjoy your reviews and I would like to hear what You think about that one... I'm a Bose user, I have 2 cinemate systems at home but want something with hdmi, I purchased the 600 but found distorsion over 70% volume, I got really disappointed, I sent it back... Again I Would appreciate Your review on the FB1... best regards
I think I’m getting the 600. I, like Kristi, have difficulties with dialogue. Does adding the bass speaker make it harder to understand dialogue in action movies? I ask because the surround systems I’ve heard with the loudest bass seem to be indecipherable to me.
Andrew I'm looking at buying the Bose 600. I have an lg C1 I'm wondering in your opinion if all the smart sound features that come when pair lg tv to their soundbar specific the lg Eclair outperform the Bose? I'd really appreciate your input
U guys think like a consumer and that conversation helps in decision making unlike others out there with an agenda .. thank you
I bought that JBL soundbar the very same day you reviewed it (I saw it as fate, as I was in the market for a new one, and that same day you dropped the review). I fall in love with it more and more every day. It's not atmos like you said, but it does fill my bedroom with theater quality sound, and the side-firing drivers give the illusion of having a much bigger system set up. Thank you so much for recommending it
I have the Bose 600, Surround Speakers, and the Bose Bass 700, I think this just convinced me to just stay with the 600 for now, because with the obvious increase in sound with the 900, it doesn't seem like it's terribly better than the 600; might get the 900 for X-mas. Nice review.
This is the first REVIEW that literally answers every question in mind including the what ifs, should I spend more for more value. Wow you guys are amazing thank you so much for helping me after 2 weeks of reading and watching reviews. Truly awesome!
Glad it was helpful!
I have a Sonos Beam Gen 1 with two Symfonisk bookshelf speakers in the master bedroom for a LG OLED 55C9 for a few years. The TV is wall mounted with the Sonos attached and mounted under the TV. Our listening position is about 18 feet from the TV with the surrounds on either side of the bed on stands. Having the rear surrounds compliments the Sonos and really improves the overall sound and dialogue. I just added the Sonos Gen 3 sub and that really was a noticeable improvement in bass, sound quality, voice clarity, and bass feel.
I was SO Impressed I sent it back to Bose. It sounded good when it worked but I couldn't get the bugs out. Tried to get phone support, was put on hold, and the number of callers ahead of me "grew" from 3 to 29 so I finally gave up on that. After trying for 30 days, I ran out of time and had to return it.
This review convinced me to return my Beam and get the 600. Thanks!
I bought the Bose 600 sound bar along with the 500 base module last month and I am very happy with both. I use this for my home office together with my 32” 4K Samsung TV. My system gets a lot of duty playing music but also playing games on my XBOX. I liked this so much I got the Bose Mini 2 portable speaker.
My main system is a 65” Sony LED TV with a Beosound Stage. The Bose system is excellent for small rooms so definitely agree with everything in the review.
Keep up the great work!
I forgot to mention the Bose 600 sounds in the same timbre as the Bose Solo 5 and the 900. I gave my friend the Solo 5 when I upgraded my main system. I do think the 900 sounds fuller but I’d only recommend it if you have a big room. Otherwise get the sub and enjoy the 600. 👍
I have been a vintage Bose person with a Lifestyle35V2 home theater and a wave radio II, but am very happy with the new Bose lineup.
I bought a Bose Smart Soundbar 300 in 2021 for my bedroom. Sound was crisp and clear, but lacked any significant bass. I added the smaller wireless sub (500) and it absolutely transformed the experience. Yes, it doesn’t have Atmos but in my bedroom with its surround effect it sounds great snuff for movies too.
If you are listening to music then the sub is a must
Thank you for this review....I am buying this for my elderly father in his new condo. This is going to be perfect for his small living room, with the option to add bass, and surrounds if he wants or needs. He won't.
Have purchased the Bose 600 and bass module after watching your review … the product definitely delivers on everything you’ve said here. Thanks for such an honest and accurate review! Cheers.
Same here ! Bose 600 itself is missing the bass that only the Bass Module 500 brings into the entire audio output. Recommended !
I cancelled the order for the Sonos Beam Gen 2 and gotten this instead. Two big reasons being the upfiring speaker and better dialogue. Soundstage is quite wide too. No regrets.
We have the Bose 900 and bass module that we love. I agree with you on the surrounds. We opted not to get surrounds because of the brick sized wireless transmitters.
I’m glad Bose is getting some love. I never understood the hate or the stigma should I say around Bose as they don’t seem to care about what audiophiles think. They just did everything their own way. I still have original, Series 1 901 speakers with a 1970s Rotel integrated amp and they rock the house. I’ve always liked their Soundbars too, and I might actually swing this 600 for the bedroom. Great review!
Thanks Vadym, I too have never understood the "hate" surrounding Bose. I get why some in the press dislike them --they rarely if ever advertise with the hi-fi press, plus they did sue Consumer Reports WAY back in the day --but I honestly can't recall running into a real Bose customer and hearing outright negativity the way you do with audiophiles.
@@andrewrobinsonreviews I don’t know about the suing anything to be straight. But regardless of it, I’ve always liked them. Those 901s although not everyone’s cup of tea and need some real A or AB power put through them, are some really nice rocknroll speakers. I love ‘em
@Vadym Timotin: Some years ago, I heard the BOSE 901 series 3. In that particular living room - which was pretty large - what I didn’t hear in the bass, I felt it in the room.
The "hate" emanates from their "pro" speakers for use as live Public address speakers.
Wow.
In the end I went Sonos. the family preference was beam 2 . There are some cracking soundbars out there with lesser known brands, pays to shop and listen .
Thanks! Bose is my SUV system and I love it. Glad to see Victrola in the game as I have a cherry wood full album vintage model circ. 1928. Yes, it plays 78's.
Got the Bose 900, with 700 base and 700 surrounds.
The system is amazing and the surrounds work so well if your in a lounge where the sofa is pushed back up against a wall.
Dual 700 subs here.
I'm still over the moon with my Bose Soundbar 900. It still catches me off with some sounds to the side of me and for a standalone is amazing. Only thing I have a small complaint with is sometimes the sound isn't instantaneous to come out. Although that could be the "handshake" between the soundbar and my TV. Might get the bass module soon just to give a more cinematic vibe.
3:45 thanks again for this great review. I bought the Bose 600 and matching Bass Module on the weekend. One sales person i encountered tried to push me towards Sonos and kept bagging Bose. I wanted a soundbar primarily to enhance my movie experience and the sound on the Samsung 65 inch QN90B I recently purchased. The Bose sound imaging / processing of Dolby Atmos is superior to the Sonos Beam 2 - although Sonos might be better for music - as pointed out in this review! I’m really happy with Bose 600, thanks again this review really helped me through the purchase process, Cheers
Just bought one recently to use as a pc speaker setup and I completely agree with your review. The Soundbar is essentially *silent* below 48hz, but above that it's very full and rich sounding! The only thing I would add is that listening position matters a lot with this bar. When I'm 3-4 feet in front of it, it's rich, warm and enveloping, with sound coming from way outside the confines of the bar itself, but when I'm about 10 feet back, that effect diminishes, and it sounds a bit hollow and small. Still, I absolutely love the immersion with atmos content. Awesome bar!
Excellent review as always.
You are asking about the smaller Bose, it's the "Solo 5" or the "TV Speaker". I have a Solo 5 and use it just for taking on vacations, for the Bluetooth from our phones. It really does well for giving pleasant audio in a hotel room or small condo.
I got a similar sized Sony that sounds more full range and has ARC HDMI so it can be controlled through the Samsung TV remote.
I’ll certainly be considering bose as a potential option for a soundbar eventually when my arc becomes obsolete or breaks. Dialogue intelligibility is important to me so glad to hear that it’s getting improvements as time goes on.
I just sold my Arc, Gen 3 Sub, and two Ones yesterday for $1,500 and I’m glad that I did.
The Sonos is getting replaced with a Powernode and Arendal 1723’s.
Can’t wait…!!
in our living room, got the old sonos playbar with new sub mini and in our bedroom, got the polk audio magnifi mini, both got no atmos but happy with the sound😊👌🏽
The 600 is a fantastic soundbar, recommend 110% . Great review.
I appreciate your opinion/takes on these units and can your honesty is apparent. I haven't heard you mention Sony or Yamaha. I will look through your content to see if you have info on either of those
I purchased the Bose Lifestyle 650 at the Bose outlet store before they closed all of them.
The best home theater without a massive footprint. Dialogue is incredible. And the 360 degree surround is awesome. Is it an audiophile music listening system no. But it sounds very good with streaming services. So it’s nice to see the 600 soundbar is getting great reviews.
Thanks for another excellent, well rounded review. The articulate presentation of vocals is very important for us as we watch a lot of foreign shows. Discovered, subscribed to your channel recently as I started the journey to find new audio gear.
Thanks for joining us! Appreciate it!
i bought the bose 600 today from best buy. the acoustics, voice, separation of vocals from treble to bass is amazing. so clear when watching news, movies, netflix, disney+ but i am also a bass enthusiast. i can tell you right now that you need to get the bose module to improve the overall experience. for me the bass is just not enough. dont get me wrong, i am not a bass addict but the thump is obviously missing with this. you need to get the bose module.
A little late watching this one, but your reviews never expire! Thanks for covering Bose products objectively. We have had several of their products in different formats and the sound has never disappointed. Sure, I like other manufacturers and their sound too, but you can’t deny Bose and their engineering exploits. Looking forward to tomorrow’s drop.
Thanks for sharing!
Excellent review! Those of us over 50 years old can confirm what I am going to say: bass is important, yes... but when you have years of experience and have listened to various speakers of different types, ranges, and brands... you are convinced that the most important thing is not the bass, nor the power... this eventually becomes tiresome and boring due to the novelty of new and unusual sounds... what years and experience gives you is the capability to seek clarity in all frequencies. That no frequency is competing with another one to reach your ear... Rather, they work in unison and in harmony, to bring forth the sound that only Bose knows how to do and only those who have or have had a Bose product know what I mean.
Owner of a Bose 600 and have been using it for couple of months now and I must say it is brilliant! I am going to add the surround and Base in coming months but the bar in itself has blown me away when I watch movies or listen to the music! My Uncle have Sonus ARC with all surrounds and Sub woofer and he still enjoys sound of my Bose!
have you bought the base and surrounds yet? what's your experience?
@@timowthie I added the surrounds when they were on sale few months back and they added to the experience! Absolute must have if you ask me. Only last week ordered Bass Module 500 which will be dispatched first week of May so I am only hoping it will take me to the next level!
I had a pair of 301 bose speakers back in the day, had them for 8 years, then sold them close to what I paid for them. Hold their value. Just wanted to say I was at the beach last summer, someone had a bose tower speaker on the boardwalk and it sounded like there was a band playing right in front of u. Just a skinny 6 foot tall speaker with bass as pedestal.
I am using the Bang&Olufsen. but I like the new Bose smart sounder 600. thank you for the explains , so nice.🥰
I was waiting for this review for about a couple of weeks now. So in the meantime, I've put some money down (layaway) on JBL 5.1 on black Friday, because your review really sold me on that product. Now that the Bose 600 is out I'm glad to hear that it is a good soundbar as well. Good video. 👍
I just replaced my Bose Smart 300 with the 500 sub. For the Bose smart 600. I feel in my bedroom set up. I don't need the sub. It gives enough thump and fullness that you really don't need it.
Living room living room set up totally different. I have Sonos Arc, sub and surrounds.
Bro I recently got the Soundbar 600 and then got the Sub 500 module and now finally yesterday I picked up the Bose surround speakers 700 Omnijewels and the experience is unbelievable for anything that I watch. It’s crazy that the omnijewels cost me 800$cad tho lol
I agree.. they NEED a white version for the modern spaces where this is most likely to be placed.
Amazing review. Thank you so much. I just discovered your channel and I’m very impressed with the quality of information and professional delivery. You’ve inspired me to buy the 600 soundbar (with the 500 bass module.) You have a new subscriber!
Welcome aboard!
@@andrewrobinsonreviews do you think TWO 500 modules would sound ok with this 600 sound bar ? in a 12 x 15 ft room...thx cheers
Thank you for this review. I purchased the 600 just after Christmas, partially based on this video. I am thoroughly satisfied with the 600. It's ideal for the space that I'm using it in and the performance is surprisingly good. If you can get it on sale, it's a good value based on the Atmos capability and the upward facing drivers. The upward facing drivers really differentiate this model from others in the price range. Ultimately I did choose to add the 500 bass module. While the 600 is adequate on its own, the sub adds significant richness to the experience. If your budget allows, I strongly recommend adding the sub (when it is on discount.)
who when or where do you find these discounts? fixed income here desperate for sound in my senior apartment. thx!
@@mahumike7531 After the holidays is usually the best bet IMO. I was able to get fair discounts on both the 600 and the bass module. I wish I had a better answer for you. I've thoroughly enjoyed the sound bar and bass module combo, I'd like for others to have the same experience.
@@chadeldred3539 cant thank you enough. I was seriously considering reconditioned as its $75 off and full warranty direct from Bose. Dont imaine can get much more than that eh? Id like
Loving my new 600 using it in my mid size living room. It is very good, nice review
Glad you like it!
Love the review and the sweet chair by the TV
Had my Bose surround system 17 years and still going strong!
They make a great product! Glad to hear you're still enjoying your setup!
@@andrewrobinsonreviews it'll be retiring next year for the NAD though!
Sonos and Apple are like Hotel California once you check in it’s hard to leave. I have Sonos speakers throughout my home and I purchased a Beam for the bedroom because I knew the Beam would slide right in. I’m locked comfortably into the Sonos ecosystem. I think this is a point which is missed in many reviews.
I've held off on buying the sonos beam (blackfriday €399) until the reviews of the bose (€550) start coming in. Ireland. Thanks for the great review
Recently picked up the soundbar 600 for our bedroom. Love the small footprint and simplicity. Dialogue and immersion are great at lower volume…exactly what we wanted for the bedroom.
I heard this on Costco the other day and was amazed about how much bass and clarity it came out of that small box compared to the bigger and larger Sonos Arc which was right next to it. This made me regain interest in Bose products once again.
We still haven't heard the ARC but that's exciting feedback.
The one thing that will never cease to amaze me is how much quality sound Bose can pack into a small package
I’m thinking in going for the Bose 600 or the Denon home 550. Which one would you recommend? Thank you!
Good review Andrew. I have a 900 with sub + rears. 900 soundbar on it's own left me hugely dissapointed , but it was night and day with the sub. If i could have got a cheap deal on the Samsung at the time then I'd have gone that route. One thing is for sure: BOSE is not cheap!
I've never been a Bose fan just based on their sound. However, the older I get the more Bose becomes attractive because of the plug and play design they're known for. This soundbar is another example of a good product, with a fairly good sound and at an affordable price that I don't need a degree to set up. I think I'm still going to go with the Sennheiser though based upon your review from awhile back when I go to upgrade that portion of my system.
I’m waiting to see what CES brings in 2023 before jumping in on a soundbar solution but so glad to hear a soundbar is taking dialogue seriously. I’m constantly up and down on the volume buttons when watching movies between action scenes and the quieter moments. Out of curiosity, how were the atmos effects in your large room from the 600? Noticeable? Great review as always.
This was a really good review. I'm going to pick up the LG 42 C2 oled for my 10 x 10 foot home office and I was looking for a small soundbar. Anything bigger would be overkill and this might just fit the bill. Thanks! I only have experience with one soundbar - the Def Tech Mythos SSA-50, but it is paired with a receiver and sub and sounds really good. I have that in my bedroom, but I digress.
Thank you for this review. Which one do you prefer for music ? Thanks
I got the "Denon DHT-S517" sound bar with a wireless subwoofer and for a small/medium size bedroom, it's rocks! I still baffled my downstairs neighbor hasn't complain yet.
So glad you found a solution that works for you! Going to have to google that Denon model to see what you're rockin'. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the review. Needed a good comparison on the Bose 600 to the Sonos Beam 2 and you provided a great one. I have one nagging question though for both. With an LG C3 TV, Apple 4K TV and the soundbars with only one HDMI how do I hook them up together? Apple TV currently hooked up to the C3 eARC interface. How is the Soundbar connected?
For a bit more than a year now I’m running a bose 300 soundbar at home and I’m pretty happy with the performance. My living room is small with quite a weird shape (tv sits in a corner, with sofa perpendicular to the wall) but this little soundbar outputs the sound in a very balanced way in my opinion. Does the upgrade for the 600 seems worth it? The upwards firing speakers make that much a difference to convey “atmos”?
Great vídeo Andrew, keep them coming! 😉
Bose with a neutral sound? You have my attention!!! Hahah very good 👍👍 I love your quick but effective comparison to other sound bars that give us the perspective we need to make a better purchasing decision.
In a room of about 15 Square meters, which do you racommend, the also has a good musical performance and low volume surround sound. Bose 600 or Samsung HW-Q800B ? Thank you
Great review as always 👍🏻, Your home is looking cool man to, That eames chair looks super comfortable
It is!
Both has the best siding sound bars outside of bang and olafson. I love my both sound bar it makes everything better. You don't need HDMI switching the televisions have lots of HDMI plugs in them now just use the tv. Bose is definitely the best sound out of the budget
What ?
I'm just hooked on Bose for all my sound systems. So don't ask me i'm biased.😉
Actually I think you meant the Bose "TV Speaker" soundbar, not the Solo 5 (it's an older model), however there is a 300 and a 500 too. The 300 has 5 speakers and is excellent, so I believe it wouldn't be too far off from what the 500, 600, 700, and 900 would be. Both the TV Speaker and Solo 5 are a huge step down both with power and sound.
I mounted the 300 with the 500 sub in my RV and it was hilariously awesome.
Another stellar review, you two! The one thing that has me leaning towards the 700 is DTS support. I still watch a lot of discs and my UHD player wont transcode DTS to Dolby Digital.
Do you think for someone like me this makes sense to consider the 700 instead of the 600?
Would love to get a comparison of this and Sony A3000.
And yes, my 1200 mm long Bose 700 is still my fav. (14:54 😁)
Bose is an interesting company in many ways. I still have my Bose 201 Series V's as my daily music speakers power by an older Sony STR-DE985B (I know ancient tech) and a Bose Sound link III Bluetooth speaker that sounds amazing. Yet, with the exception of your review most people act like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs when I asked questions about adding newer components. This despite the fact that after using them for over a decade they still work well. Have you ever considered doing a retro tech page? I'm not talking about reviewing older components (I recognize the difficulty in that rabbit hole), but perhaps showing people how the tech has changed to enable them to move forward from something familiar and good, to something newer and better. I was lucky that recently one of your articles prevented me from buying a standalone DAC instead of just using my PC optical out directly to the optical in for the DE985. I guess I'm curious why one DAC is better than the others and silly questions like that.
Would love a Polk MagniFi Max Ax review!!!
Great review guys. Truly one of a kind format of your shows on UA-cam (or anywhere?). I always look forward to your and Kristi's frank exchange of views at the end. Heck I'm not an audiophile or a recovering one, but I find the philosophical things this technology
says about us and the companies that make them fascinating.
BTW are you guys planning on doing a review of Sony's latest compact soundbar offering, the HT-A3000, that's meant to compete with the Sonos Beam and Bose 600 bars anytime soon?
I purchased the HT-A3000 recently and paired with my Sony Bravia XR55A80J and audio (out of the box with no room calibration) is equivalent, even inferior to the native TV audio.
We just bought the BOSE 600. We are very happy. We live in an apartment so no sub is recommended. The good thing is that we can now hear dialogue.
Hi Crichta. I'm in the same boat as you - common walls. Need to keep volume down. Always had problem with dialogue. Thanks for sharing. How does Music sound?
@@sammiefreeheal2430 The music sound is also good. I turn it up when the neighbours are out and the sound is solid.
Is the Bose 600/Sonos Beam 2 a decent step up from the Polk Mini Ax? I have the AX currently and it sounds LOUD in my small bedroom, but I'm just not wow'd by it and thinking of the first two.
Edit. Got the Bose 600, and yes, it sounds quite a bit better than the Polk Mini Ax even without the sub.
happy holidays just wanted to know which is better for dialogue the bose 600 or the jbl 5.1
This guy is simply my all-time favorite reviewer. All this “sweet talk” and emotion that he transmit to his audience is living proof of the charm and knowledge he has delevoped over the years.
A while ago, I was randomly watching videos and I found his review on the Crown Class-D Amplifiers… I ended up buying them.
Now, I’m getting a 77” S90C later this month and I want a soundbar for my apartment’s 15’x16’ living room which is open to the right (connecting to the kitchen). Guess what? I found this video and now I think this is the soundbar for me.
Andrew, I know this video has been uo for a while but, please, talk to me! LOL
how is the atmos 3d feeling for you with an open kitchen?
The polk magnifi mini ax plus sr2 surround speakers can be has for a similar price as the bose 600. Would that be better value or is the bose soundbar standalone performance (without sub, speakers) still superior?
For a smallish room bose 900 only OR BOSE 600+ BOSE 500 SUBWOOFER? Cost total is almost same?
I currently have the JBL Multibeam. I love it. I have a small lounge room, and it performs very well.
But I'm considering the upgrade to the Bose 600,just not sure if it's worth it at the moment...
We've not heard the Mulitbeam so not sure how it compares. If you're happy with it, I'd stay happy :).
We bought the Bose. We're very happy with the dynamics in the sound.
Yea same, I just got the Bose too. Worked and met my taste perfectly.
Oh, the blasphemy!! How can I keep my current biases with this kind of review? It almost sounded like there were highs AND lows. My brain is shorting out. It can’t take the conflict.
Hi Andrew & Kristi. I hope you guys review the Dutch & Dutch 8C at some point.
Good day, how does the 600 compare to the Def Tech Studio Mini 3d? Thank you
Thinking of the Bose for connecting to the PC as it'll sit under the monitor taking up no space. I've got Bluetooth so connecting should be esy. so now just waiting for black friday.
I'd love to see a review of the Bang and Olufsen theatre soundbar
How diminished is the surround/Atmos effect with a vaulted ceiling?
The Boss 600 was released just after I purchased the 300 model or I might have saved up for the 600, but I got the Bose 300 on sale and it replaced an old Sony surround sound system and couldn’t be happier. Wanted to free up floor space and didn’t really want a subwoofer and with the 300 I don’t feel I need it as our living room isn’t that large to begin with. Setup as you mentioned was an absolute breeze. Dialogue is great and I also have never engaged the dialogue feature in the app. Should I really feel the need for the Atmos feature I might put the 300 in the bedroom and upgrade to the 600 in our living room but I would have no hesitation in staying with Bose for a simple sound bar solution or recommending it to others, especially if you watch a lot of dialogue heavy films or tv shows like we do.
Great review! Looks like Bose 600 is more popular than Bose 700. Current sale price actually puts Bose 700 at the same price as Bose 600. That's interesting.. Is Bose 700 any better or?
I have a high ceiling around 14 feet, would the atmos effect be more pronounce if I put a Shelve (ikea Lack) above the TV?
Great video. First time watching your channel. Liked & subscribed. Recently upgraded to an LG C2 55” tv which is connected to my soundbar which is a few years old now. It’s a Polk Audio Magnifi Max with wireless sub. It is in a bedroom but not a standard sized one. I’m guessing I might need to upgrade the soundbar to get up to date with the tv? I get the feeling that the 600 could be a good idea. I don’t really need the subwoofer I use now. I like that with the 600 you can get the bar first and if you need the sub, you can add the sub. The one detail I heard you mention was about the dialogue from tv shows and movies that the 600 does so well even without the dialogue mode on. That’s one thing I am often having to turn subtitles on content I am watching because the voice adjustment on the Polk Magnifi max didn’t really make the difference I was looking for. Should I upgrade and will this do fine for a bedroom that’s slightly larger than the standard?
Bose also has the 300 which is the same size but no atmos up firing speakers. I guess it will be discontinued since they are 100$ apart in price, I have it in my bedroom right now and it performs well.
I have a full Sonos arc+era300+sub gen3 in the living room a Beam gen2 in the smaller “game room” and a bose600 in the bedroom. 100% the bose600 has fuller, louder and clearer sound and bass than the beam2, especially when it comes to music. This is why it went in the bedroom. But I will say this it’s slightly glitchy vs the Sonos setups. I have had zero issues with both Sonos setups as there seems to be constant hdmi handshake issues with the Bose600. In the end nothing beats the arc full surround setup. Even though the Bose600 sounds great and edges the beam out slightly something about Sonos just seems perfect. In the end it is what it is.
Could I use the bose inplace of my sonos beam but still keep my sonos sub and surround speakers?
I am using OLED C2 42" as a monitor and I've been really bothered by the built-in speaker. I'm shopping around to see if adding a soundbar as a "monitor speaker" is worth it. I've been considering Beam 2 but this review is making me check out Bose 600 as well. Do you have any thoughts on using either of these soundbars (or any other recommendations) for the desktop setup?
Thanks for the great review. Would you also have a link to the white lowboard the Bose is placed on? Thx a lot for the great videos and greetings from Germany
Love your reviews. Bought a new Sony X90K 65” this TV has horrible sound quality. So I bought the Bose 600 which sounds great for a soundbar. Thanks again for the review!!
Great to hear!
@@andrewrobinsonreviews do you think TWO 500 modules would sound ok with this 600 sound bar ? in a 12 x 15 ft room...thx cheers
Have you done a comparison for the arc vs the bose 900?
Will the bose output 5.1 surround? And did you say it doesnt do atmos compared to the samsung???
How does this compare to the cinema 600 or even 800? Specifically in a 10x12ish size bedroom for a transforming movie experience.
Hi Andrew, really appreciate the work you and Kristi put in to produce such amazing content.
Just a little confused - when I watched your beam 2 review, you preferred it to the bose 900 (maybe I got it wrong and you correct me but there is a time stamp on your beam 2 review comparing it to 900) but you prefer the 600 to the beam so does that make 600 better than the 900 (I know you said 900 is better in the review) sorry just genuinely confused.
Andrew, will Bose 600 work well with Samsung non atmos tv au 9070? Please inform.
They missed out in not adding a sub out connection for any aftermarket sub. If it had that, instant buy.
