I am buying more VGT, SCHD & VOO. Many of us have a boatload in the S&P500 index in ROTH, still have the bulk of my $500k retirement portfolio in VGT. In my taxable account, i try to beat my roth and i know it can be done but i am still underperforming the S&P500.
I’m taking the hybrid approach, VOO, SCHD as my foundation, with growth like MA, UNH, HD. And slow growth like O and PEP. I have a 20 year time horizon. But the best part is I still enjoy my life while I do this. Travel, and buy ONLY things I love. It’s the best combo, plus I love the small victories with receiving dividends/dividend growth/share price appreciation.

Excellent share, just inputted her full name on my computer and searched online, top-notch credentials. I've seen commentaries about advisers, but not one looks this phenomenal.

Didn't ANET drop, because NVDA will be leveraging their position to sell a competing product at a cheaper price through bundling? I don't feel comfortable betting against NVDA until ANET comes out with some really good news about the future.

Enjoyed the video- thought provoking- but what was lacking guys was valuation of all the stocks referenced- how overpriced are they currently even if they have dropped from all time highs-? Valuation matters, it matters a lot
I echo this point. Valuation matters. What’s the fair value. What’s the intrinsic value. Factor in the margin of safety.

The sub model for software companies are good for companies. I loved when I could buy the software and use it without having to pay other than the initial cost for the software. I absolutly hate the sub model. But again, good for profit.

This is how I see it will play out. Recession kicks in second half of the year.. And if it doesn’t there will be NO rate cuts. FED instead gets forced to rise rates March time next year 2025.. And stock market goes into melt down.

So my current gains is 70 and 90% roughly on 2 etfs, AIQ and WCBR. People will wake up to putting the cart in front of the horse for A.I. Even the electrical grid needs to be upgraded before everyday usage.

DJT is a swing play not an investment. Try not to get caught up in meme stocks that can crash at any given time.
Over last couple of days Look how the FED members have become so divided on when rates will cut.. They are no longer in control. DEEP FEAR will slowly start to enter the markets.
I do think the fed is in control , they have to play their cards well if they want this market to keep going up .AP

Unemployment in US has steadily jumped in last 12 months from 3.4 to 3.9%. Bonds remain inverted. US is heading for the biggest auto loan default in history.. People put deposits on cars back in the lock down, now they can’t afford to keep, due to rise in cost of living and interest rates..

You need to understand there will be many failures before implementation of a safe and secure self driving mechanism. That's how inventions work - through trial and error
