I was never a fan of this song until Angelina sang & now it's one of her best Masterpieces. She sang an up-dated version last summer in Norway.
Thanks for another great reaction, Ginger & Mike. I love this intimate yellow reinterpretation of EJ's song. For me Angelina is absolutely fantastic at engaging listeners, she is almost an emotional amplifier (if that makes sense 😃) and all her interpretations manage to get to the heart and move you. Again her version of this song, captivates you with her simplicity, melancholy and sweetness, while the slow, smooth progression of her vocals to those awesome riffs is masterful. Angelina manages to reinterpret these old songs and always extrapolate alternative versions of incredible beauty and which she sings masterfully, she is simply unreal in her musical intelligence. 💛 🧡 ❤
My problem with Angelina is that I can't pick her best song. Being a musical ignoramus, for example at the first listening of: "Billie Jean" I was perplexed, I couldn't find the connection with Michael Jackson. Then the following listens gradually began to capture me, on the tenth listen I understood that it was a masterpiece, an invention of Angelina.
That's not an uncommon experience 😎

Don’t you just love the edit at ‘I didn’t sign up with you’ cutting to a wistful looking Cowell watching AJ sail off into the sunset.
It’s fine to dislike the Lion King soundtrack and for others to love it. I quite like it, but we all have our preferences and it’s never a reason to get upset about it :-)
Angelina’s version of the classic is breathtakingly beautiful. The long blast is amazing, but I think I like that long top to bottom run towards the end even more. She brings this old song back to the present and makes it relevant again.

In one of her more recent performances, she did that top to bottom run with no break in between and it is fabulous! She never sings a song the same way twice - what a musical genius!

Thank yoy! The best young female artist just 17 years old today "IMO" - Angelina sings better than already established world stars. No one can stop Angelina from becoming a world star. That's just how it is! Her first album will be released in 2023 with Republic Records.
This was Angelina's 2nd performance on AGT and she was 13 years old. The first was "Bohemian Rhapsody" which got her the golden buzzer from Heidi Klum and now has over 75 Million views on one channel and over 25 Million views on another. Simon said she had set a high standard for the show and made the show a lot better and that he would remember this performance for years to come.
Yellow Brick Road:
Simon stated this is a performance he will never forget for the rest of his life. Angelina has had this ability since she was 7 years old, she has been refining it since then, and now there no one else to compare her to.
If you had watched the end of the video, you would have heard Simon, who is so critical, and can be so nasty, say; "this is a performance that I will remember forever". Simon would have loved to be in control of Angelina's career.

This is a masterpiece by Angelina and a taste of more things to come. She changed it up and of course made it her own.
You both are very personable and enjoyable with your commentary, and that should continue to build you a larger following.
To turn that into even more subscriptions, think about a popular phrase... "Give and you shall receive."

Angelina based this version of hers, on Sara Bareiles` work on the song. A version Sir Elton highly praised at the time. To me Angelina added even a step or two to the version, as she did put her magic into use for this great performance, from the finals at the 2020 AGT. She also included this great song in her Norway conserts last summer, and it was great.

Awesome reaction and to me the only Artist out there that every song she sings every time you re-listen to them, they get better! It doesn't matter the song, I've had a few I really didn't care for but she sang them well. But when I would hear them again, then again, I started liking them, crazy, God Bless!

Thx you guys, I believe that A.J. sang this song as a message to Simon Cowell after Angelina and her family refused to sign a contract with them. Did you notice that she laughed as she finished? Watch her when she sings anything she almost laughs a little with every song. I have always found it curious and would love to know what causes that laugh, or almost laugh. Go back and watch just as she finishes any of her songs and see what I mean. About a year and a half later she sang this same song and that long run from high to low at the end she smoothed it all out. It is impressive. Wait I'll find the link a give it to you here.

To be honest, the horrendous captions totally distracted from the performance. I think it may have gotten one sentence right throughout the whole song...lol
Pre-80’s Elton John is bedrock classic. Like Billy Joel and Springsteen, imo, the 80’s wasn’t kind to Elton. This is a good effort, but she can’t hit those soul-rending notes like Elton.
Very good for the most part. Would have been even better without some of the vocal gymnastics.
She only had about 2 minutes on stage per the rules so she had to show as much as she could in that time frame for the judges and the audience. You don't normally hear that much "gymnastics" from Angelina, who is 13 in this performance.

Nice reaction of her Finals performance from America's Got Talent The Champions from 2020. I got hooked by Angelina with her previous performance of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen which got her the Golden Buzzer to appear for this performance. I have been a huge fan since and one of the best things to happen to music in such a long time! By the way, you have a negative troll in your Comments Section down below going by the name Jim
