The new Design of the AXP is what I really like! Last year I bought the bash plate from Acerbis, which is also made out of PE. I prefer these because they fit so nicely. What you said is absolutely correct. If the stones fly against the plastic bash plate on a gravel track, it's not nearly as loud as on my KTM Adventure 1190 with the aluminum bash plate from the KTM accessories. This is really annoying.
Was going to get this plate for my '22 until i saw some pics of the cat melting the plate. Maybe just a prolonged idling thing with no air flow? Went with Camel Adv instead. Its a VERY well made plate! Havent put it on yet as im waiting to hit 600 miles for the first oil change. Looks great hanging on the wall for now 😂
My 2021 has this with the SW Motech center stand, it needed a small cut at the time to accommodate it, not a big deal, AXP did supply a diagram for that under request. Chances are, that's no longer needed, it may come with that.
Awesome video , thanks a lot for that, you said it all ! Our customers are our best ambassadors !
Thanks! I’m very happy with the quality and performance of your product! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for this video, the install looks straightforward.

I was right on the edge with buying the camel one. It’s definitely a good one!
I was worried about the plastic near the headers too. So far no issues.
Thanks for that video. What about torque values?
Thanks for this video, I bought it and I don't know how much I should screw the rear linkage bolts. Because the protection touch the linkage
I’m not too sure. The linkage bolt worked well for me. The company’s really good with answering emails for questions like this. Give them a try. 👍🏼
How is the axp holding up had one on my 690 , just bought a t700 and trying to decide what bash plate to go with
Still going strong. Very happy with it. I’ve taken the bike over a few logs with no issues.
Looks like it will do the job. I am curious will this mount to a 2021 with the stock center stand. From the video it appears it will not.
I believe that the center stand and AXP skid plate utilizes the same mounting locations.

1lb is a lot, I know guys trying to save ounces. It also covers more than the Camel.
My best performance mod would be me losing 25 lbs off my mid section! 😂
Although plastic looks very sturdy. What's the weight of the skid-plate ?
AXP- plastic = 6.4 lbs
Camel- aluminum= 7.4 lbs
SW-Motech- aluminum= 8.9 lbs
Do you have a link to the skit plate?
Sure do!
