Lovely. I think many missed the point. To me it looks like the girl spent a lifetime buying things on the billboard in hopes of finding love while the guy was locked in his career and his father’s expectations. And the fact that they meet in the end is a portrayal of how much time we waste doing whatever we do to find love instead of actually getting out there on the field.

I like how the girl is not slim as they used do make them in most CGI films, and not even because her being a little curvy has to do anything with the story.

Those are all symptoms of being in love, so it makes me curious about why you "know" you're not "meant for each other." I'm assuming she had feelings for you, but you broke up with her. If I had to hazard a guess, your last girl was as Rubenesque as the girl in the story. Is that what's standing in your way? A charming, sweet, and curvaceous woman who makes you feel the way you still feel about her seems like a woman you'd want to marry. As someone who is older and, perhaps, wiser, I assure you that love sees with the heart, not the eyes; but too often we think ourselves out of what would have been our ideal relationship, because that person didn't check every box in some list of traits that the perfect woman (or man) must have to be the "right one" we're looking for. Every one of us ages, the bloom of beauty fades, life experience brings wrinkles, and a slender figure is lost to most of us - female AND male alike - when infirmities force us to make accommodations in our activity level. What remains is the character, virtues, and personality that attracted you in the first place. However, there may well be some entirely different and very good reasons that you're not "meant for each other" and you "know it's never going to work." C'est dommage.
