What an absolute nightmare of a workout. Ill have to sub the assault bike, but I look forward to getting a fraction of her work done. That finish was impressive.
So this is the best video I've seen in a while. To see her go from the first to last round and see her actually suffering to get though it put her on a whole new level for me. Thank you for the video @comptrain can't wait to do this as well 😊

Just did it. Smashed my target and got 303 reps! Although I was using a 75lbs barbell, not 95lbs.

adrian ordaz ha ha, thanks. But honestly, I am a bit good at conditioning and strength, but I really suck at skills. I haven't learnt muscle ups, handstand walking, Kipping handstand push-ups (I can do strict), etc.
In fact, I just did 10 bar muscle up attempts and failed each one.
I will call myself a beast when I have achieved the same level of skill as that of my strength and conditioning.
What's your score by the way?

And you can tell how goal oriented she is - you can tell she was thinking “I’ll rest once I have 30 reps.” And then the second round she wanted 30 but knew 25 was all she could get so she didn’t rest at all so she could hit those numbers! Then survival mode! Dang. Dang. I’d be lucky to get 10 thrusters and 15 cleans with an empty barbell 😂😂😂

I follow constrain myself and Ben Bergeron is one of the best coaches around but when I look at this workout I have so many questions. Thruster standard must have been changed (no head true anymore). Power cleans , elbows in front of the bar at the finishing position ...(least half of the reps are no reps ). Pullups clearing the bar with the chin are all shady but then that might be the angle. I understand that its a cardio workout where good reps are not that important, just to get the workload in. What I don't understand is why post it then ? Not the first time ... I remember Brooke Wells doing burpees in one of those . Let's be clear I dont take anything away of the effort here ? She is a great athlete and will be awesome at the games, just don't get it why post it. How can I ask people to fully extend with the head true on thrusters or get the elbows in front of the bar with power cleans after they saw this video?

the elbows pass the bar every rep.. just because they're not at 90 degrees doesn't mean it's a norep ^^

Internet is such a great place lol. I was hopping some answers like this and by far I'm not questioning her skills or competence as an athlete. I made a serious question. Anybody who judged an official CrossFit event can see what I'm talking about. Peace!

I AM what i AM nothing more nothing less. Atenção é aos insultos... voces são fáceis no insulto... Mas atenção a isso. Qt ao wod a filmagem tem vários ângulos nas pull Ups não dá para ver bem de cima para baixo ou de lado, detrás da para ver bem que passa. O colocar cotovelo depois da barra? O esforço não está aí... Isso é o mesmo mas pronto cada um vê a vida pelo ângulo que interessa, ou positiva ou negativo. Volto a dizer pega no peso dela, e faz as reps como ela fez e depois diz quantas reps foram. Thrusters quebra bem paralela... N meteu a cabeça do jeito certo? Wow ... Cotovelos, cabeça e ângulo filmagem nas pull Ups. Realmente é algo que altera muito resultado final.

Sokratis ELL proper nutrition and training! It’s relatively easy to understand. They consume enough calories from carbs and proteins that they are able to build muscle mass (by eating plenty of protein) while never having to breakdown their muscles because they have enough glucose (carbs) to provide them energy. They probably have very little if any fat. All they do is eat, sleep and train.

Nope. It's a normal standard to jump for both ways. I know she did that because this workout was long thing and she cannot perform fastest way to do this exercise, because of next minutes of this workout would be so freaking dead. But... I hoped that Ben will explain me his way of thinking about that. But it's ok, he is a busy man. Let's leave it like that.

More efficient to face the box if you need rest at the top between each rep
Ben talks about “MCI” for athletes but in this case sorry to say parts of this are missing in the WOD.

This is training, not a test. In a test, you are supposed to take things like completing each rep very seriously, but in training, your aim is to build fitness, not measure it, so you are allowed to ignore such things.
Of course this means her score should have been somewhat less, but does it really matter? These scores are meant to motivate you to give it your best, nothing more than that. The Games scores have a different objective - to measure your fitness, so you have to take that seriously.
Heck, even the CompTrain guide says that you are allowed to count reps even if you don't complete them due to"technical reasons".
Shut your mouth. Complete half the reps she did and see if you can thrust it anywhere past your ears. Bloody keyboard warriors

Marco Bracciani saying those pull-ups weren't correct is like saying Usain Bolt's running form isn't correct. Every individual has his/her own technique/form which suits him/her the best. It might differ from what an average athlete is taught as good form.
Now if you are saying something against butterfly pullups in general, then that's a different story altogether.
Grave Mind correct form or correct rep in my opinion are two different things. Now...the mode of execution is justly personal but the rep must be valid. So...unless the video does not show the fake or framing distorts the reality of things, the chin exept somethimes has never arrived at the bar. However She remains an amazing athlete.
Marco Bracciani oh, you are talking about that. Well that would certainly be a serious issue in a fitness test like the CrossFit games, etc., but this is just a workout, not a test. In workouts, such things can be treated more liberally, since the focus mainly is on building fitness, not testing it.
Now you can argue that since this is a benchmark workout, it should be treated as a test, and then I can't say anything more.
Even CompTrain tells you to ignore such things during training in it's FAQ page.

Just remember, this isn't the games. This is just 1 of multiple training sessions she's likely to do that day. Perfect reps every time isn't as important as seeing how long she can maintian moving in the given time. She can worry about perfect reps when it matters.
