STEM talaga for Archi, sabayan mo nalang pag free time mo or sem break mag enhance sa Arts. Kasi sa sa Math subjects need mo talaga na may mag tuturo sayo at malaman mo na gaano kahirap ang Calculus para kung college ka na hindi ka na mabibigla at di muna iiyakan same with Physics. Merong mga core subjects din na exclusive lang sa STEM like DRR and Earth Science (Earth and Life Science kasi sa ibang strand/track) which makaka help interms of yun nga DRR for Disaster and climate ng Philippines and Earth Science for studying the Earth and minerals. And interms of Research/Thesis makaka help talaga ang STEM sa Archi dahil more on Quantitative Research ang STEM sabayan pa ng Capstone Project (puwede ka na mag pasok ng Archi project mo dito). And yun na nga STEM to other non-stem college program no need mo na mag bridging, however, NON-STEM to STEM college program need mo mag bridging. At ang pinaka maganda STEM centered ang mga College Entrance Exam (wag niyo awayin STEM dito dahil dinaman nila ginusto yun at English, Math, Science pinag aaralan nila)
I dont think so na stem talaga. Kasi sa College may bridging subject naman kung di ka STEM strand which is yung math na subject sa STEM so matutunan mo parin yung Math. Nung pumili ako ng Strand sa Shs, pinili ko yung A&D kasi kung tutu-usin mahal mag enroll sa Arts. Ngayun mag cocollege ako and may bridging subject ako na Precal so goods naman atleast nasanay na ako sa Arts and may advantage na ako. Kaya sa mga nag Arts and design dyan wag kayu ma dodown kung di STEM kinuha nyo.

I'm more confident with my skills more than academics because I'm not really good AS IN LAGAPAK AKO SA ACADEMICS pero I chose STEM kasi sabi nila connected ang archi sa STEM pero I reaaaally want to take ADT kasi nga mas more ako sa skills and I want to experience Theatrical play dahil ang gusto ko naman talaga sa college is Performing Arts, hindi ko alam kung anong susundin ko, yung gusto ko ba o yung gusto nila

When I was in Grade 8 hindi ko pa alam o hindi ko pa masyadong pinag-iisipan kung anong strand or track ang pipiliin sa SHS since medyo matagal tagal pa naman then Grade 9 came, on tle subject you need to choose if cookery, technical drafting, EIM and so on (meron pang iba), I land on technical drafting, there they teach us about of course drafting, elevation, floor plans and more that was really helpful. Sa subject na 'yon nalaman ko kung ano talaga ang gusto kong ipursue and that is Architecture, now that I'm in Grade 10 covid came instead of technical drafting it became hairdressing. I'm not happy, since if it's tech-draft mas may matututunan ako na related sa architecture, but as if I have a choice😅. I'm planning of taking STEM but hindi ako ganoon ka galing sa math and science. Nong Grade 9 lang ako naging confident sa math since sa year na 'yon parang doon lang ako may natutunan sa math dahil magaling magturo si ma'am (well lahat naman kaso hindi naeexplaine ng maayos ng ibang teacher). Hindi rin ako ganoon kagaling sa drawing kumbaga sakto lang haha, This video is very helpful, I'm sure makakatulong din naman ang advance reading and practices, magtry na rin magsolve ng pre and basic calculus para next school year hindi matameme 😆. I'm currently studying at CVSU, and I took arts & design track in my sinior year, yes di na kaylangan ng bridging. Ang maganda kasi sa STEM marami kang pweding choice na course na gusto mo while A&D ang pwede lang namin kunin is Architecture sa CVSU kung gusto namin ng iba sa ibang school pa and mahal yung mga course na papasok sa track namin. Buti nalang na expose kami sa ibat ibang medium sa arts kaya very helpful naman down side lang is yung Math haha wala kasi kami masyadong ganon.

Hiiii, gusto ko lang po sabihin na pag isipan mo na siya ng mabuti bago ka mag SHS kasi maraming advantages kung anong specific na strand ang kukunin mo (also depends sa school mo) Nung una nag palipat lipat ako ng strand hanggang sa nagdecide akong mag STEM. Lahat talaga ng kakayanan ko and dedication ko is for arts and naisip kong mag A and D then naisip ko rin mag GAS bec confused ako na what course i wanted in college. ANYWAY HAHAHA choose the strand that will challenge you the most pero at the same time is in favor ng mga options mo for college, back then my sitatuion was gusto kong mag medicine, pero gusto ko mag arts, pero gusto ko mag arki and since mahina ako sa math i took STEM kasi marami talagang learning opportunities. Kasi kung nageexcel ka na sa painting, drawing chenelin, you can practice it always in your free time ganern, pero kung hirap ka mag aral like me and subjects like math and science take the strand na mahirap talaga aralin and nakakatakot pero madadala mo siya in the next years. Also, dapat talaga GAS ako pero ang gulo gulo pag dating ng college mga bhie, kasi halos lahat sila require na specific like HUMSS, STEM, AD, TECHVOC, ABM. Kasi may chance na mag bridging ka pa, and masesetback ka daw. So pag isipan mo na siya before SHS HAHAHA. Eto kasi mistake ko nung grade 10, na hung up ako kasi talents ko hindi ko niconsider yung needs and wants ko.
Ang alam ko sa CVSU, STEM lang tinatanggap dun pag magAarki ka at sa ibang StateU. Architecture kasi is Science, Engineering and Art. Lahat ng discipline kasi pagaaralan sa Arki like Electrical, Structural, Mechanical, Lighting, Urban Planning, Plumbing and marami pa especially Structural(CE math yun 5 major subjects) 🙂 bc our primary concerns are safeguard to life, health, property, and public welfare. I want to pursue interior design and my relatives suggest that I should take STEM because it's much better strand and my brother also take STEM and he pursue architecture. I know BSID is arts and design track but I'm not really good at drawing and they say it focuses more on theatre/music/art/dance(?) skl. Can you give me some advice? Thanks💖

Sad to say, hindi nila 'ko pinayagan. :'> I'm now grade 11 ABM student coz sabi ng fam ko hindi naman daw maganda ang BSID lalo na ngayon sa Pinas, wala raw nayaman dun and I'm also from Cavite, so wala ring university na malapit dito na may BSID. Hindi ko rin alam course na ipupursue ko for now kasi hindi ko rin ginusto 'tong ABM. 😅 I suggest if u are thinking between archi and id, better choose architecture kahit mahirap at magastos kasi mas broad and in-demand talaga siya unlike BSID. (Just sharing my opinion po hehe) hope u follow ur dream, God Bless💗

Pag nag-STEM ka, lamang ka sa science and math once na nagcollege ka na. Pag ADT, lamang ka sa plates HAHAHA ewan ah for me lang naman becoz mahahasa art skills mo sa ADT seryoso and di ko ni-regret na nag-ADT ako. Yun nga lang, luge sa math haha
Im on 10th grade this year but im still undecided if AD Track ba talaga or STEM, I do love drawing but I'm not confident its good enough, but like I what I've learned from the video, there's a possibility that we need to know bridging for architecture... Now im more confused about what I wanna take😅 But I also wanna take AD Track because I wanna enhance my drawing skills more plus I have experience in theater.... So...😭 Gosh this is confusing
omg! same situation here T__T i have fully decided to take architecture in college and i am very willing to study it, but what's giving me 2nd thoughts the most, is the strand that i'll pick on shs.. i'm not fully sure that i'll take STEM since im afraid of the subjects, and im thinking if i can actually survive that strand 😅yet, still torn between stem and AD track because i want to enhance my skills in arts (same with urs, which is u love to draw, too) but at the same time, i wanna widen my knowledge on mathematics, too, since i can tell that i am way toooo weak when it comes to it 🥲but, like, when i come to think of it, if i'll choose STEM, there will, probably, be more benefits and opportunities.

Yes pero depende talaga. Because i heard na malelearn mo rin daw yung mga math sa first year and also i think that knowing how to do presentable plate din with technique. Etc. ang madami daw sa archi. But it's your choice. Btw. Ako pinili kona ang arts and design tapos mag archi nako sa college. HAHAHAH. Kinakabahan nako.
I took STEM in SHS planning to take archi, but I ended up in ADT. I'm planning to change course in 2nd year into archi but then I also like arts a lot so I'm kinda enjoying it now but it makes me doubt my future work or career. we have the same experience nung shs, di na nakakagawa ng artworks but i realized na i did a right choice naman na i took stem nung shs hehe sa first year arki naman kasi is tuturuan naman magdrafting and magrender😅 so no regrets hahah

Guys try niyo din mag Technical Drafting in SHS if meron sa inyo. Matututunan nyo na agad ang basics ng perspective drawing and basic things sa paggawa ng plano ng bahay. Im incoming G12 at na eexcite ako sa pwede ko pang matutunan sa strand na to. Lucky din kami kasi nakapag autoCAD na din kami. Sana nasama din sa vid na to yung TD para naman malaman ng iba na meron din connect to sa arki haha. Yun lang HIHI.😁

Wala kasi kaming math nung gr 12. Advantage lang namin is easy na lng gumawa ng scale model kasi palagi namin ginagawa yun nung shs. May mga classmate nga akong galing abm 😂

Track ko po is GAS. I'm a freshmn po, this 1st sem may math kami. Algebra po.... Sa mga susunod TRIGO. at CALCULUS po. Pero share ko lang, namili kami ng specialization pagdating ng grade 12 then I choose STEM then subject na nakuha ko ay Pre-Cal at Basic Calculus...

When I was in Grade 8 hindi ko pa alam o hindi ko pa masyadong pinag-iisipan kung anong strand or track ang pipiliin sa SHS since medyo matagal tagal pa naman then Grade 9 came, on tle subject you need to choose if cookery, technical drafting, EIM and so on (meron pang iba), I land on technical drafting, there they teach us about of course drafting, elevation, floor plans and more that was really helpful. Sa subject na 'yon nalaman ko kung ano talaga ang gusto kong ipursue and that is Architecture, now that I'm in Grade 10 covid came instead of technical drafting it became hairdressing. I'm not happy, since if it's tech-draft mas may matututunan ako na related sa architecture, but as if I have a choice😅. I'm planning of taking STEM but hindi ako ganoon ka galing sa math and science. Nong Grade 9 lang ako naging confident sa math since sa year na 'yon parang doon lang ako may natutunan sa math dahil magaling magturo si ma'am (well lahat naman kaso hindi naeexplaine ng maayos ng ibang teacher).
Hindi rin ako ganoon kagaling sa drawing kumbaga sakto lang haha, This video is very helpful, I'm sure makakatulong din naman ang advance reading and practices, magtry na rin magsolve ng pre and basic calculus para next school year hindi matameme 😆. PARA SA ARCHITECTURE ✊

I'm currently studying at CVSU, and I took arts & design track in my sinior year, yes di na kaylangan ng bridging. Ang maganda kasi sa STEM marami kang pweding choice na course na gusto mo while A&D ang pwede lang namin kunin is Architecture sa CVSU kung gusto namin ng iba sa ibang school pa and mahal yung mga course na papasok sa track namin. Buti nalang na expose kami sa ibat ibang medium sa arts kaya very helpful naman down side lang is yung Math haha wala kasi kami masyadong ganon.

Hiiii, gusto ko lang po sabihin na pag isipan mo na siya ng mabuti bago ka mag SHS kasi maraming advantages kung anong specific na strand ang kukunin mo (also depends sa school mo) Nung una nag palipat lipat ako ng strand hanggang sa nagdecide akong mag STEM. Lahat talaga ng kakayanan ko and dedication ko is for arts and naisip kong mag A and D then naisip ko rin mag GAS bec confused ako na what course i wanted in college.
ANYWAY HAHAHA choose the strand that will challenge you the most pero at the same time is in favor ng mga options mo for college, back then my sitatuion was gusto kong mag medicine, pero gusto ko mag arts, pero gusto ko mag arki and since mahina ako sa math i took STEM kasi marami talagang learning opportunities. Kasi kung nageexcel ka na sa painting, drawing chenelin, you can practice it always in your free time ganern, pero kung hirap ka mag aral like me and subjects like math and science take the strand na mahirap talaga aralin and nakakatakot pero madadala mo siya in the next years.
Also, dapat talaga GAS ako pero ang gulo gulo pag dating ng college mga bhie, kasi halos lahat sila require na specific like HUMSS, STEM, AD, TECHVOC, ABM. Kasi may chance na mag bridging ka pa, and masesetback ka daw. So pag isipan mo na siya before SHS HAHAHA. Eto kasi mistake ko nung grade 10, na hung up ako kasi talents ko hindi ko niconsider yung needs and wants ko.

Ang alam ko sa CVSU, STEM lang tinatanggap dun pag magAarki ka at sa ibang StateU. Architecture kasi is Science, Engineering and Art. Lahat ng discipline kasi pagaaralan sa Arki like Electrical, Structural, Mechanical, Lighting, Urban Planning, Plumbing and marami pa especially Structural(CE math yun 5 major subjects) 🙂 bc our primary concerns are safeguard to life, health, property, and public welfare. Sad to say, hindi nila 'ko pinayagan. :'> I'm now grade 11 ABM student coz sabi ng fam ko hindi naman daw maganda ang BSID lalo na ngayon sa Pinas, wala raw nayaman dun and I'm also from Cavite, so wala ring university na malapit dito na may BSID. Hindi ko rin alam course na ipupursue ko for now kasi hindi ko rin ginusto 'tong ABM. 😅 I suggest if u are thinking between archi and id, better choose architecture kahit mahirap at magastos kasi mas broad and in-demand talaga siya unlike BSID. (Just sharing my opinion po hehe) hope u follow ur dream, God Bless💗

Pag nag-STEM ka, lamang ka sa science and math once na nagcollege ka na. Pag ADT, lamang ka sa plates HAHAHA ewan ah for me lang naman becoz mahahasa art skills mo sa ADT seryoso and di ko ni-regret na nag-ADT ako. Yun nga lang, luge sa math haha

Guys try niyo din mag Technical Drafting in SHS if meron sa inyo. Matututunan nyo na agad ang basics ng perspective drawing and basic things sa paggawa ng plano ng bahay. Im incoming G12 at na eexcite ako sa pwede ko pang matutunan sa strand na to. Lucky din kami kasi nakapag autoCAD na din kami. Sana nasama din sa vid na to yung TD para naman malaman ng iba na meron din connect to sa arki haha. Yun lang HIHI.😁

hi ate nakapag apply na po ako sa ibang school pero how about ABM po? napili ko na po sya as architecture po. sana po makitaa
may alam ka bang schools ate (around manila/batangas) na tumatanggap ng any strand sa arki? at schools na hindi tumatanggap? saan po may bridging at san po yung bawal talaga? tvl-he kasi kinuha ko, 100% hindi related huhu
also kapag nag bridging po ba automatic irreg ka na? possible ba na tapos ka na mag bridging before 1st yr college?

Ako po sa College lang natutong magdrawing haha,walang inalam na course strand etc.basta naniwala lang ako sa kakayahan ko btw.galing ako ng Abm strand skl.
