I have a question though! I bought a Rx580 + Ryzen 2700X + asrock x470 master sli mobo right when 3rd gen processors were about to be released. For my daily work this set up works perfect. Right now I am looking to build another pc for my friend with same configuration. But the problem is rx580, and x470 mobo prices are doubled (higher than rx590 and x570 mobos) and also they are out if stock everywhere while Ryzen 2700x is available in plenty and 25% cheaper than before. Why is it though that the old gen mobos and gpus price never comes down (in fact it doubles) while their respective gen processors are available for cheap price ?
hello :D I got a question about what monitors should I get I only have a Toshiba TV. and really old monitors but they are giving me problems any recommendations for buying new ones cheap I'm kind of broke atm.
I so DEEPLY Appreciate all the work you put into your "Show More" full listings! I cant stress that enough, it is more work, and I love that you are doing it like a pro right off sir. Bravo! Everything you are doing is wonderfully polished, the edits, sound quality, camera, presentation, overlays, everything!! You will fly high in no time Sir, for sure. Everything I have seen of these are the two I fight about with wanting to buy. That heat issue, really bothers me. Bios update aside for the "pushing it" overclock issue. And I really want the ease of the raytracing, but I despise Nvidia overall. Thats just a me thing with them and microsoft and Steam. They take liberties and play with politics in a way I do not approve of. I prefer to stay all AMD if I can, and honestly will likely be my final choice. You work hard, I hope to see you getting larger audiences soon! Stick with it. You are the best professional I have seen in their early beginnings, ever. And I am not one to say that, except with the best, I am an unbelievably strict critic. So, take that as you will. Going to go look at more of your videos now.
Thank you my friend, I truly appreciate your kind words and I am trying my hardest. Sorry I didn't reply sooner, crazy time and all. As a reviewer, I cannot be biased to towards AMD or NVIDIA, I have to review everything I am given with a clear mind and provide all my findings to my viewers, both make great products, each have their strengths and their faults. For the heat issue, playing with the fan curves helps tons, but I did not want to include that here because it might throw people off who don't know how to do it, even though I did create a video on how to do it. Well with MS and Steam, I am assuming its which ever company is paying them more money, but I don't have the facts on that, so it is purely assumption. Thank you my friend for noticing the little things I am doing to make my videos, it means a lot to me and yes, it is a TON of work, but I am pushing hard to grow. Thanks again for your kind words, checking my video and commenting, it means a ton to me.

Man the effort you are putting in every vídeo is outstanding, really professional and good content. Found you out because i bought the XFX 5600 XT and wanted to know more details about the card. Keep up the good job, you are going to be huge!
Thank you so much my friend, I truly appreciate your kind words, I just keep pushing hard haha. So very happy you liked it, I truly appreciate you stopping by, checking out my video, commenting and subscribing, it means the world to me.
You are so very welcome my friend, so very happy I could help. Stay tuned though, benches are benches, gameplay is different, I will have the KO video up soon.
Nice and in-depth, I quite liked that you added power usage and measured hotspot, though I'm sad that you didn't add in 4k benchmark results, I'm far from the only one that use my TV or large 4k monitor with my gaming PC.
Thanks my friend, I do appreciate your kind words. I did not include 4K because this card cannot handle 4K. If you notice the 2K scores were just barely acceptable, throw 4K in there, its a slide show. This was to not make the video too long, but if you want to see 4K results, presented the same way, just not in video, you can find my full review here on Dragonblogger: www.dragonblogger.com/xfx-radeon-rx-5600-xt-thicc-ii-pro-video-card-review/
@@ThisBytesForYou I think that depends on whether you value higher graphics settings more than resolution. And for those that game on a TV, we are sadly stuck with 4k, unless it's a really old or crappy TV. Not to mention for people used to 30 fps console games, or an old GPU, the definition of what's playable is pretty wide. :-) Just one general tip, I would rec putting the link to the article at the very top of the video description, so people can see it without clicking "Show More", otherwise it's easy to miss. Oh, and adding in 1% lows, and perhaps 0.1% also, might not be a bad idea, it tells a lot about how stable the framerate is. Personally, I find that as long as the 1% lows don't dip below 30 fps, it's a decent gaming experience.
@@lupusprobitas I'n my reivew I have the average,.... but maybe I should throw in lows, it's a lot more work but I will see what I can do. So yes, the graphics settings totally plays a role in how smooth games are, usually people set them to High or Ultra and at 4K.... those work work at all, now at 2K, they would be a lot more tolerable. As for FPS, 30 on a console is very different than 30 on a PC, you will find out but what helps TONS if you have a high refresh rate, like 100 and above, it makes even lower fps much more tolerable. Thank you so much for stopping by, checking out my video and commenting, it means the world to me.
Thanks a lot for the video :D I am running the THICC II at the moment, waiting for my 2060 KO Ultra to come in to refund the XFX on Amazon. The THICC II just heats up so much in my machine and the HDMI port returns "No signal" pre-windows loading... So yea, I don't know if that's a thing with newer cards, but I need to be able to see the BIOS through HDMI, my monitor doesn't have a DisplayPort (this was remedied by getting a DP to HDMI adapter.) Really are nitpicks you could say, but when I am spending hundreds of dollars on a brand new product, I'd like it to work out of the box. Upon some google searching, it seems a lot of people are having trouble with the HDMI port of their 5600xt & 5700xt, AMD doesn't seem to care too much, I guess DP is the technology you "should" use anyway... I guess I'm becoming old, because I don't care about saving a few dollars now if it means I get a better out of the box experience with minimal effing around :P Quite on time with your video by the way, my 2060 is supposed to get here today :) Thanks
No no, not nitpicks at all, EVERYTHING should work and its great that you get it through DP alone. Now here's the thing, first, the KO has only 1 x HDMI, 1 x DP and 1 x DVI, so you could run into issues there. Also, AMD is having some issues along side Microsoft with the drivers, they are working on this. Now as for the HDMI cable, is it 1.4b? I think this is where the issue is coming a lot from, sadly mostly all cables don't tell you what they are, and that is really horrible. Also, unplug and replug the HDMI cable, I have found that helps. So very happy you liked the video and checked it out, I hope it has helped you and thank you so much for stopping by, checking out my video and commenting. It means the world to me.
@@ThisBytesForYou Hey, I just checked my order history for the HDMI cable, and it is a 1.4 cable... I thought this would be enough for 1080p on a 75hz monitor, but this totally might be the issue, yeah D: . I should have spent a few bucks more for the 18gbs cable instead. Ah well, thankfully Amazon return policies are pretty lax lol. Thanks for replying!
@@ThisBytesForYou As feedback to your previous comment in this thread. The HDMI cable 2.0 indeed fixed my "No display signal" issue. Also decided to still keep the 2060 KO Ultra instead since it averages around 10-25C° cooler at full load in my machine + fans do the job well at 88% and are not loud at that %, really quiet compared to the THICC II which sounded like a jet plane. Very good video - you always provide good info. I just got the Raw II model. Really makes the look of my new build pop. Now, if I can just figure out how to update the card on Manjaro ! :-(
Thank you so much my friend, I truly appreciate your kind words. I hope to get a Raw at some point, they look nice. I wish I could help you on Linux, but about 10 years since I touched Linux maybe I should get back on it for people, not sure.
I agree, but I could only review what I was sent, maybe I will soon, not sure but since now I get to keep the cards it would be so much easier to compare. I will see if I can though, thanks for the idea, your kind words, stopping by and checking out my review, it means the world to me.
Hello, I have this card but I'm a little concerned on how it will handle newer games like Cyberpunk, do you think it's a good card to stick with just for 1080p?
At 1080P, I think you will do great, but since it's not out, we all can only guess. I hope it has a benchmark built it, so I can help people decide. Thank you so much for stopping by, checking out my video and commenting, it means the world to me.
To clarify, the XFX 5600XT has 6GB of GDDR6 RAM, not GDDR5. I have this card and it is AWESOME! Paired with an i7-8700 CPU, it's night and day compared to my old 1660 OC Super. I don't have any problem with high temps like he does. I'll run 3DMark Time Spy and get an average GPU temp of 50c. My only beef with the THICC II is the cheap plastic shroud. It's not very pleasing to look at, but it has a lot of bang for your buck...
arg, I did say GDDR5, whoops, I do know it's GDDR6, I do apologize, looks like I misspoke. I am not a fan of the plastic shroud either, but I think the card is sexy looking, I did not have thermal issue, I had misunderstood the conversation I had with AMD regarding the explanation of explanation of the difference between the gpu and gpu hotspot, but I show you the temps in all of the review. i will explain my missunderstanding in the review of the 2060. I talk about my confusion in my written review of this card, you can check it out here: www.dragonblogger.com/xfx-radeon-rx-5600-xt-thicc-ii-pro-video-card-review/
does the gpu have any cooling issues? back then my friends 5600xt thicc ii pro melted due to cooling issues.. rip him.. but did it get fixed or is it still a thing?
no not at all, actually I read the hotspot temperature incorrectly, in speaking to the AMD representative I miss understood what he said so it makes the card so much better.
Well, it's not as easy as just performance right now. The 5600 XT is faster, not by a ton, but it is faster but the problem is the AMD drivers and Windows. There are some pretty big issues with the drivers and the way windows works with them, but the cards are good and it does not happen to everyone, a clean install with Windows 10 2004 version, the latest HDMI (2.0b) or even better a DisplayPort cable along with the latest BIOS for your motherboard can help or eliminate the issue, but there's good and bad. Have you thought about a 2060 Super or the KO?
its not needed, but it is highly recommended. Older drivers carry a lot of junk with them that could cause issues with the newer drivers. DDU gets rid of the junk, leaving a clean slate for the newer drivers.
@@ThisBytesForYou Thanks for the advice. 1 more question. Can i still use ddu to uninstall the drivers even though the new gpu is installed in my pc already?
Yes, you can but I am a little weary of it at the moment becuase of the driver/windows issues at the moment. Maybe just install the drivers over the current install. Once the drivers are 100% solid, then use ddu. I hope that helps.
Angel, as much as I like amd's latest gen, there are tons of issues at the moment with the drivers and windows, it's not all on AMD, so I am kind of careful at the moment. Normally with every driver update, I say use ddu, but right now I am cautious.
Is this card meant for 1440p or 1080p resolution? Because I have an alienware monitor thats 1080p and I want to make sure it would run well with my monitor Edit: wait I just realized your running the gpu on both 1080p and 1440p resolution. Thanks for the video though.
Anytime my friend, so just know, if it runs 1440P it will work on 1080P soooooooooo much better. Thanks for stopping by, checking out my video and commenting, it means the world to me.
Super informative video man :D A question for you ! How you think the Thicc 3 would stack up next to the Thicc 2 ? I really like the 3 Fan style ! But not sure about the performance difference ! Other than that i saw that Thicc 2 was 14gbps and the Thicc 3 was 12Gbps 😔 would that make any difference ? And can i bios flash the Thicc 3 and make it 14Gbps ?
So you want 14gbps, if not you have to potentially flash the firmware on the card to achieve 14gbps.... but of course you run the risk of killing your card and then you have no warranty and you wasted your money, but 14gbps is not REALLY needed, its a nice to have. I would get the Thicc 3, the extra fan will help it cool better and you will get extra performance regardless of memory above the 14gbps Thicc II. I hope I have helped you.

Hi I’m planning on getting a RX 5600 XT paired with a Ryzen 5 2600. I will be playing Fortnite on all low settings 1080p. Keeping that in mind how much FPS do you think I will get? Any help would be appreciated
Fornite is not very intensive, that CPU you have is not bad at all, you might want to check out this video where I use this card for gameplay testing, I test on Fortnite, Operation BReakpoint, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Grand Theft Auto V, Doom Eternal ad Borderlands 3. Just know, that at 1080P, every game you play will be a little more CPU bound, raising that to 2560x1440 will relieve some stress from the cpu and put more on the GPU and this video is all at 2560x1440, check it out and let me know what you think. In both videos, I have listed all of the hardware I am using as well in the description along with the Amazon Global affiliate link, would help me out tons if you used those link. Let me know what you think.
Yes and no, the resolution is a part of it, but its at what settings can you play it on, low, medium, high, very high, highest, Ultra, etc. Different engines require different hardware. You will be able to play lots of games at 1440, but you will have to forcus on those profiles, low, medium, high, etc
You are so very welcome my friend, happy I could help you but no matter what both will work great together, no bottlenecks. The 5700 handles 2560x1440 very well, but like I said, just be careful with profiles

Nice, let me know if you need any help with it. I have some videos on here on how to install it, how it performs and tons of others. I hope it works out great for you.
Yes, and actually I miss interpreted the temperatures as well, I miss understood my conversations with AMD on it.. While Hotspot is a thing, It is not the direct comparison to NVIDIA's GPu Temp, actually both GPU Temps should be the same thing (not same temp but same type of reading). During the tests you can see the temps were almost identical, sometimes lower on AMD and sometimes lower on NVIDIA, same thing with higher. They both have 6Gigs though but yeah, the 5600 is cheaper off the bat and in the longer run. Good stuff. Thank you so much for stopping by, checking out my video and commenting, it means the world to me.

I am struggling to choose between a GTX 1660 Super and an AMD 5600 XT. Which one should I buy?
Well, it's not as easy as just performance right now. The 5600 XT is faster, not by a ton, but it is faster but the problem is the AMD drivers and Windows. There are some pretty big issues with the drivers and the way windows works with them, but the cards are good and it does not happen to everyone, a clean install with Windows 10 2004 version, the latest HDMI (2.0b) or even better a DisplayPort cable along with the latest BIOS for your motherboard can help or eliminate the issue, but there's good and bad. Have you thought about a 2060 Super or the KO?
Quick question. Upgraded from a gtx 980ti to a 2070 super. I already switched the gpus. Should i use ddu and reinstall drivers or is that not needed?
its not needed, but it is highly recommended.
@@PrPunisher1994 yes
Yes, you can but I am a little weary of it at the moment becuase of the driver/windows issues at the moment. Maybe just install the drivers over the current install. Once the drivers are 100% solid, then use ddu. I hope that helps.
Angel, as much as I like amd's latest gen, there are tons of issues at the moment with the drivers and windows, it's not all on AMD, so I am kind of careful at the moment. Normally with every driver update, I say use ddu, but right now I am cautious.
Is this card meant for 1440p or 1080p resolution? Because I have an alienware monitor thats 1080p and I want to make sure it would run well with my monitor
Edit: wait I just realized your running the gpu on both 1080p and 1440p resolution. Thanks for the video though.
Anytime my friend, so just know, if it runs 1440P it will work on 1080P soooooooooo much better. Thanks for stopping by, checking out my video and commenting, it means the world to me.
Super informative video man :D
A question for you !

Ok thanks for your help
Anytime my friend
I have no idea what you’re talking about.....but like the shiney stuff❤️
hahhhahah, thank you so much my friend hahaha, that made me laugh out loud.
ThisBytesForYou 🤣🤣🤣
Hello, with what application can I check if my graphics card has the 12 or 14 GB bios?
Hello my friend, you can use GPU-Z
Thanks
Anytime my friend
nice video man!
So very happy you liked the video, checked it out and commented. It means the world to me. Good seeing you back my friend.
Hey Bytes. Can my ryzen 5 2600x and gpu 5700xt saphhire pulse handle 1440p gaming?
Yes and no, the resolution is a part of it, but its at what settings can you play it on, low, medium, high, very high, highest, Ultra, etc. Different engines require different hardware. You will be able to play lots of games at 1440, but you will have to forcus on those profiles, low, medium, high, etc
@@ThisBytesForYou Okay,Thanks.
You are so very welcome my friend, happy I could help you but no matter what both will work great together, no bottlenecks. The 5700 handles 2560x1440 very well, but like I said, just be careful with profiles
Good work!
Thank you so much my friend, I do appreciate your kind words.
wow, a great system and a cool Vga-Card
thanks my friend, very happy you liked it.

In my opinion sapphire pulse is the best one because of hot spot temps
Sapphire has the same sort of hotspot temps, all AMD cards have them. I do also work with sapphire, sadly they did not send me a 5600 to review
Fantastic man...!!
So very happy you liked it my friend, it means the world to me that not only you checked out my video but that you commented as well. Thank you.
Awesome review
Tank you so much my friend, I truly appreciate your kind words.
i cant find the download for the 14gbps bios only the 12gbps version is showed on the website can someone plz provide me with the correct link or tell me where to go to find the correct one
What is the exact model number of you card, manufacture too
ThisBytesForYou the model # is RX-56XT6D I got it from amazon
There is no 14gbps firmware for it, if you flashed it and killed it, you would void your warranty
Great Video
Thank you so much my friend, I truly appreciate it
i really want this one.
NIce,if you are interested, you can check out the link in the description or pinned comment that will take you to my Amazon affiliate link where you can buy one.
Have you updated the GPU Bios?

Here is the oficial link.
no, this is the 14gbps model, i has the latest BIOS.
someone have the 14Gbps bios backup? i need it please
Check xfxs site for your card, they list them there or email support.

Greetings from Germany
You are so very welcome my friend, so very happy you liked the video and I hope it helps you.
so it's basically a 2060 with less consumption and more memory... and better price, that's good
Yes, and actually I miss interpreted the temperatures as well, I miss understood my conversations with AMD on it..
