I'm pretty sure Santiago was happy after finding Lestats last words written in his blood in Claudias journals because now he has evidence that they broke the rules and murdered another vampire. Now he has something on them, which is what he went in there looking for. I don't think that look on his face was that of approval for Claudia.
I'm not an Armand apologist, I am an Armand enjoyer. I love that man in all of his murder gremlin ways that's my baby girl. I really wished I could've heard you guys speak about his backstory a bit more because the " what if you didn't control a bunch of people?" stood weird to me, he was given the job to run the coven, there are people above him. The coven isn't a design of his own there are different factions like in London abiding by the same rules, like Claudia, Louis, and Lestat, Armand is also trapped here. It's a cycle of abuse for ALL parties involved Armand is also trapped in the cycle. Since he was a child he has never been given the chance to be his own person. He was given as payment for an artwork that doesn't even display him in an authentic way. Louis isn't resigning himself to settle in my opinion he is making an active choice and shifting the dynamic in the after show Jacob says that Louis has taken on the Lestat role in the relationship with Armand.
Strange editing choices. You barely showed any of Armand explaining his history in the museum. That's an important thing to know because it kind of explains why Armand is how he is.
I agree with what Daniel said before, Armand feels like louis’ rebound guy, only justifying it by bringing up the 70 years part all the time! Lestat is Louis first true relationship and love of his life, and I don’t even like to believe that ‘vampire bond’ is most of that. Armand was more toxic that Lestat but poor Louis couldn’t see it because of the mind games and the vulnerability of his traumatic past he wanted but couldn’t talk about. That’s why Daniel comes in. You can tell that louis’ had 70+ years of not even being able to talk about the past and that’s already a big old red flag when looking into his and armand’s relationship on the face of it. Through ghost Lestat, we can see Louis already has better conversation and passion than with Armand. They talk about the past, and louis’ hobbies, his plans. Armand keeps trying to reign him into coven life with flirtatious looks. This is why overall, louis’ best option is to be on his own. No ship, just an island for a while.
I had the same reaction at the end😂 I saw the time left and said, “Don’t you dare…YOU SHITS!”
dream lestat is part of louis mind, i think hes a manifestation of louis subconscious. can't wait for your ep5 reaction.

Let the tale seduce them. Just as you were seduced.

The book The TV show and the movie are all different Armand. And you're giving the book backstory not the TV show backstory
The whole body pause yall just did at the end. 😂😭🤣
"ROMEO! He's barely Balthazar!" Dreamstat really called Armand a side character.
and he sounds so stupid saying it!
