I like very much how you 'currently' are using your hotwire board assembly to 'rough-cut' your wing airfoil shape...then completing the fine shaping by hand, with carving & sanding.
Do you also keep a folder or neat box of 'Contour Gauges'/pre-made curves & 'French Curve'-tempates...for 'different' wing airfoil types?
Basically--just stiff 'cut-outs' of wing curvature, with little markings & size/scale notations; you lay it upon your win as you make it...and 'verify' that your sanding to reach a specific shape DOESN'T go too far. As well, remains 'equal'--in all span wise locations & on opposite wing panels?
This was a method used by traditional airplane builders from old times, mostly for carving propellers but also to create accurate wind-tunnel models by hand before computers.
The North American P-51 and all of the similar, excellent airplanes were drawn, calculated & built by hand--using THIS exact method of shaping to perfection!

The most important part to cut the airfoil is the trailing edge section whereby it be too messy by carving the curves area is then carved with a line to maintain.. the wing tapered as I maintain the trailing hot wire cut

"..I have no idea why the camera went dark?.."
Because your P-51 went "back-in-time"-->to 1944 history, when there was only 'Black & white' movie film...to fight Nazis. Then, it returned...LOL!

Hey! I got my electronics and all- just waiting for foam to be delivered... btw, did you give any thrust angle? The 1400kv motor feels really powerful when i used that 10" prop and went just halfway through the throttle... Didn't even go 100% throttle... I basically held the motor in my hand to test and it does seem to have a decent counter-torque... did you give any thrust angle??

@@TOMSHOBBY i already bought a 10 inch prop, bro... And im from india... this shit is mighty expensive here... any ideas? Should I keep like... a 3° thrust angle or so? Oh btw im getting 1.1kg thrust...

@@TOMSHOBBY im using the same motor as you- 2212 1400kv- its just, Im very tight on budget and can't afford a 40amp esc... I'm getting a combo of this 2212 motor with a 30amp esc... would it work? My plane will be almost the same size as yours-
