Yeah Ed Boon confirmed Scorpion and Sub-Zero are blood brothers, and today it was revealed in Smoke's bio that he is Scorpion and Sub-Zero's adopted brother because their dad accidentally killed Smoke's parents so he took him in to atone esentially
A part of me thinks there's gonna be a twist. Same with Kitana and Mileena.

Rain and Reiko are both my favorite characters, but both are Super Genius Pridogy Generals, it will be good to distinguish them by making Rain a Scholar/Sorcerer type.

The Main villain for Storymode is Onaga his undead army shows up in the trailer where Scorpion burns them and multiple leaks and clues pointing towards Onaga.
Those are General Shaos soldiers. Hes the new version of Shao Kahn and hes the one talking to them.

Don't forget guys, that Sub Zero is Bi-Han, so I guess once an asshole, always an asshole. I think his ambitions will cause the conflict between him and Scorpion and maybe Hanzo leaves him and creates Shiry Ryu. I mean, those guys have to become enemies at some point
@@nodarshurgaia4301 Are the names actually confirmed? On the official website, the character bios for both Sub-Zero and Scorpion do not mention their actual names. I wouldn't be surprised if that's done on purpose due to possible story spoiler/twist.
@@jdm4087 sure, but think about it, Kuai Liang is way too honorable to say what he said in this trailer, so it has to be Bi-Han. As for Scorpion, it's Ed Boon's favorite character, so I don't think he would make Scorpion into the uniform that anyone can wear.
@@nodarshurgaia4301its confirmed Kuai Liang is Scorpion. Hanzo will most likely be codename:Takeda in this timeline. Takeda was the name of the original Shirai Ryu founder.

There's speculation going around that Smoke may be Hanzo in this timeline. If you read his bio, he's still an orphan by way of the Lin Kuei attacking his family when they accidentally trespassed Lin Kuei territory. So the Grand Master we once knew was evil actually was ashamed and took Smoke in to be part of the clan. If Bi-han and Kuai Liang exist as brothers, this may very well be Hanzo in this new era.
Either way, I'm beyond excited for this to drop.

@@latishabuckner8231 I think it's gonna be the other way around. Scorpion respects Liu Kang while Sub-Zero doesn't seem onboard. Unless it's an editing misdirect, this trailer further reinforces that theory by showing Sub-Zero questioning their position of being followers when they should be leading instead. Also, if you read Scorpion's character bio on the official website, I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves the Lin Kuei to start the Shirai Ryu after being forced to fight Sub-Zero
@@fortunelekoto6704 Yeah, the founder is named "Takeda". Since this is a new timeline, Scorpion could be the founder instead, and he might not even move to China. This 2nd reboot opens up a lot of possibilities for these characters.
