And through my own religious deconstruction. I feel big connections to y’all through conservative upbringing to discovering yourselves as adults. Thank you so much for what you bring to this world and the mythical community.
Everyone's jaw DROPPED when Jessie started singing during Kill A Man at Mythicon. It was insane and everyone was so excited and surprised, definitely a highlight
It felt very affirming to hear them say that they've now realized that they produce their best content when they simply put themselves in various situations. I wrote almost exactly that in the writers' competition a few years back and hadn't fully accepted whether that was true, but to hear it straight from them after all this time is amazing.
I agree wholeheartedly. I'd love to see them dip back into the sketch comedy but with this in mind, and approach it kinda like Joel Haver with light scripting and mostly improv. Actually Joel would be such a cool collab for them to do oh man

Yes and no. Event planning takes a lot of work but also I think it should be yearly if they want to keep the interest of their target audience and keep the hype going. They are getting older and to look at it realistically I'm sure their main audience is also older. They wouldn't say this but I'm sure they related to and had more meaningful interactions with the audience that is within their demographic. If you look at their views and age ranges per video. Going to mythicon was my first time out of Canada and it was lovely, I didn’t get to do everything I wanted to because of the lines but it was still amazing. I’ve been a fan of you guys for 13 years. The only critique I have is about the lines (like some lines being 3/4 of the way to the entrance first day and then (from what I heard) fully booked for the second day) and the lack of mythical kitchen sample foods. I really have no other issues. If what happens next is an improvement on this mythicon I’ll be hyped because I loved this. The free liquid death was awesome

Just wanna say, a lot of the rude people, the so called fans, who attacking them for those pricing of mythicon, calling it money grab, or them putting dollar sign onto their fans head, must really doesn't understand how expensive an event cost. Atacking R&L and fans who's get to go just cos you can't is not only unfair assessment, it is also selfish on your part. Some fans you are, shame.
I don't believe this was a money grab. I am very proud of these guys and I didn't even get to go to mythicon!!!! I wish I could've BUT yesssss it was way too pricey. Maybe that can be something y'all can work on 😬😂 cool experience tho
With cheaper tickets nobody would be able to come because the event would not take place. Also it wasn't even that high for 2 day event, some concert tickets are in the same range for 2 hour event.
@@lauralanthalasa7 lol that’s BS. They could have easily had a more affordable option. Also with peace and love, they’re not Lennon and McCartney , they shouldn’t be charging a month’s rent for a UA-cam event. Just my personal opinion but I’m glad people enjoyed it.
@@machiel5888 You sound very salty that you coudn't afford it. If you are a fan you know that they did the best they could, they didn't even make money from it. If there was no cheaper option then it was not possible, it would just meant a lot more people in a place where capacity and logistics were at certain point.
Didn't go but read on Reddit that it looked like something at a highschool level play or something along those lines, when they really hyped the art department up. The food was apparently regular food named after food that appeared on GMM. And was tiny portions. And all the booths were just kind of empty.
@@brinoreeno Seeing the prices kind of hurt, then I started seeing them in a ton of ads. I'm not sure what's going on with them, but I'm not a fan of it.
I really wanted to go to mythicon to make friends. But I bought tickets without budgeting and ended up not being able to go. The universe is like ‘na you can’t have friends YET man’
If they really wanted to do a money grab they would just make a Mythicoin and promote the shit out of it. Then sell at the peak making 10’s of millions. Aka a rug pull.
I can't believe people talk s**t about two hard working entrepreneurs doing things as a "money grab" but then go spend all their money shopping Amazon or Walmart. Gtfo....

2:33 Link has to be talking about tana right? Lol
he was being broad bc it’s true; they do have a reputation of going south. yes he probably included tanacon in that, but it’s not the sole event he was referring to. Fyre festival is the one that has a documentary about it.
Either Fyre fest or Woodstock 99
Excellent video ❤️❤️
If only I could and COULD have figured out to watch. Every live event (evening) is SOOOO hard to get to watch.
Beautiful video ❤️
I hope there’s another one
Just wanna say, a lot of the rude people, the so called fans, who attacking them for those pricing of mythicon, calling it money grab, or them putting dollar sign onto their fans head, must really doesn't understand how expensive an event cost. Atacking R&L and fans who's get to go just cos you can't is not only unfair assessment, it is also selfish on your part. Some fans you are, shame.
Can’t wait for my CD!
Hey guys!!
Yes I've been a fan of the show since before GMM was a thing
I don't believe this was a money grab. I am very proud of these guys and I didn't even get to go to mythicon!!!! I wish I could've BUT yesssss it was way too pricey. Maybe that can be something y'all can work on 😬😂 cool experience tho
i guess the Mythical beasts are one of the best community!
The price for tickets was so high, it priced out everyone but the wealthier fans :(
how much were they
With cheaper tickets nobody would be able to come because the event would not take place. Also it wasn't even that high for 2 day event, some concert tickets are in the same range for 2 hour event.
@@jakeharris8318 the cheapest ticket was over $300
@@lauralanthalasa7 lol that’s BS.
Mythical Beasts that went to Mythicon, how was it?
Didn't go but read on Reddit that it looked like something at a highschool level play or something along those lines, when they really hyped the art department up.
The food was apparently regular food named after food that appeared on GMM. And was tiny portions.
And all the booths were just kind of empty.
@@WilhelmWilder Wow that's so disappointing
@@brinoreeno Sounfs like they need practice, which is what this was.
@@brinoreeno Seeing the prices kind of hurt, then I started seeing them in a ton of ads. I'm not sure what's going on with them, but I'm not a fan of it.
@@WilhelmWilderI’d believe it
🤣🤣🤣 yup, we totally get it. ❤
I love y’all so so much
I loved mythicon !

Could never afford it 🥵
Come to Canada 🇨🇦 I still wanna review water with y'all in person🤙🏼💦
Did Link perform as DJ DopeNutz?
I really wanted to go to mythicon to make friends. But I bought tickets without budgeting and ended up not being able to go. The universe is like ‘na you can’t have friends YET man’

If they really wanted to do a money grab they would just make a Mythicoin and promote the shit out of it. Then sell at the peak making 10’s of millions. Aka a rug pull.
I can animate draw and sing so yeah I love you some things I can do

I wonder if anyone fell in love...
I hope so. That would be wonderful.
Idk why I’m saying this but……..
Beans lol
Lol
I agree
So beautiful
Good
I can't believe people talk s**t about two hard working entrepreneurs doing things as a "money grab" but then go spend all their money shopping Amazon or Walmart. Gtfo....
👐🏻
Everything you guys are saying sounds like you're trying to recreate the gathering of the juggalos
🙄😫
This episode of Ear Biscuits should be called "Rhett loves the sound of his own voice"
🎶 and nothing else matters 🎶
Maybe because Link wants to have a whole episode on his DJing gig...
And you still didn't hear them Link say he wanted to do his own episode? P.S. it's a podcast a person talking alot is literally the point.
