For those who don't know the battle between Optimus and Megatron is much sadder than you know. According to the Transformers comics and cartoon before the schism that split Transformers society into Autobots and Deceptacons Prime and Megatron were brothers in arms until they wound up on opposite sides of the war.
2:02 probably the most satisfying transformation ever. Starscream charging his engines, back flipping while tucking his legs into his jet form just sounds immaculate.
Though, the next time, Megatron kills him, so Optimus becomes a bit psychotic after reviving. Optimus then shoots off half of Megatron's face, then their final fight, he rips his head off. lol
I'm pretty sure it's because Optimus Prime was weak during that film, he was sloppy and his movements were not refined, similarly.. Optimus Prime in ROTB was sloppy compared to the time he was in Cybertron. He also didn't have any of his energon weapons, which always bothered me since he used it against Bonecrusher but not Megatron. You also have to consider that Optimus Prime during this film was much less ruthless compared to the later films that came after the first movie. Megatron even states: "Prime has decided to be ruthless since our last encounter" in DOTM which confirms that Optimus during the first film was not going all out, and was not out to kill Megatron while the latter was hence why he even says "You left me no choice, brother" further signifying that he didn't want to critically injure or kill Megatron but he was left with no choice. Also, Megatron and Optimus Prime have been fighting in Cybertron for many millennia. They have fought countless times and yet neither have been able to kill each other, which backs up the idea that they are rivals and neither is superior to the other. So, basically.. Megatron was at his peak during the first film and had all his arsenal, while Optimus was sloppy, had no energon weapons, was weak and was still refusing to go for the kill route. If Optimus Prime was at his peak and not following his code of showing mercy, the fight would've been much different.
The idea: a multilingual scene with Megatron and Starscream in the first Transformers. There is no such video on UA-cam yet. + I've heard that Starscream sounds very epic in Portuguese, Spanish and Russian voice acting.Your videos are just great! I love how the reason megatron was so strong in the first movie was because he built his body into the perfect weapon over centuries of combat
