If you lived in Germany in the 80s you know them and watched all their movies several times....they are funniest in German. They don't just translate, they add a lot of jokes or just use ridiculous "translations"
I would not say communist Hungary. My family love Bud movies but hate communism. And again we did not copy their movies, but had a great actor who was similar to Bud and he only played a similar caracter to him. But no movie copying.

I remember seeing Watch Out nearly 50 years ago at the on base theatre at Sigonella, Sicily. It was the 2nd or 3rd Spencer-Hill movie I had seen and I was surprised that it wasn't a western, but as a racing enthusiast I was appreciative of the more modern setting. Amazingly, I haven't found anyone among my friends and family who knows these guys or has seen one of their films. Fun movies, somewhat in the vein of a few of the Jackie Chan movies.
They made the two Trinity westerns and the Venezuelan flying film-this was their third one (actually fourth, they happened to be together in a pirate movie but not as partners before the two westerns, that film is not usually counted as a Bud-Terrance movie)

Stardate 202102.26: after many years I realize this whole film that stayed with my childhood was originally acted in english and then dubbed in italian, despite the two main actors are both italian. And seeing it now in english with the speech matching the labial is even better than the original (i.e. what I used to consider the original)
